How to Connect Xbox 360 Wireless Network Adapter

The Xbox 360 Wireless N Networking Adapter is an accessory that you can use on both the old Xbox 360 console and the slim type 360s. Installing this accessory on a Xbox 360 S console will disable the built-in wireless adapter while helping boost the signal strength and bandwidth, especially if your wireless router is at a distance away from your console.

1. Insert the wireless adapter at the back of the console as shown.






Note: The slots at the back where you can insert the wireless adapter is not present on a Xbox 360 Slim console because it has built-in wireless capability. Using the adapter however will help improve the signal compared to the default wireless device.


2. Plug the USB cable to the USB port on the back of the console







3. Flip up the antenna
