How to Configure the Console's Automatic Shutdown

This setting will allow your Xbox to safely turn off after a few hours of activity.

  1. Go to Settings tab, select System and select Console Settings



  2. Select Startup and Shutdown then Auto-Off



  3. Choose to have the device turn off after 1 hour, 6 hours or not at all.
