Introduction

This is my first review and it is about Worms 3D (X-Box). In this review ,I will say what I think about Worms 3D and sum up the facts about it. Most people only talk about one side of the game but not the other, so I'm not going to do that. Worms 3D can be bought in most games stores for between 8 and 15.

Graphics

In this game, I'd say that the graphics are overall pretty good, but it gets annoying after a while of shooting neat little holes in walls. Also a lot of the terrain features turn out squared off, so it can be tricky to make people roll off things. Even with this, the levels are designed amazingly and the game hosts some of the greatest worms graphics yet.

Sound

Many worms players will admit that there is nothing more satisfying than hearing a worm's anguished cries as it falls to it's watery demise and, if you forget to fire or you miss, the squiggly little assassins hurl insults at you. This game also has an inbuilt voices data bank where you can select from a range of voices like Geordie, pirate and gangster to make your squad of worms more unique. They could do with more phrases, though, as hearing the same ones gets really depressing after a while.

Gameplay

The gamplay of Worms 3D is the same as that of the other worms games, where you take turns to obliterate the other worms. The game has lots of modes, including 3 single-player modes, training, campaign and challenge, in which you can unlock levels if you do well.

Lastability

This is one of the very few games which can be played forever and not get too boring. In the multiplayer mode, there is a random map generator that changes the map to a new one each time, very rarely bringing up one that you have already seen. Another thing is that you can make up AI teams of different difficulties, so that the further on you go, the higher the level of your enemies can be made for you to practise. This game lasts for years at the least.

Overall

Worms 3D is a good turn based shooter and is exeptionally good for parties as everyone can add a character with their name to their friend's team and fight their other friends with their teams too. This game is not compatable with X-Box Live and doesn't feature custom sountracks or system link. All in all, a great game.

Final Score: 88%
