Dragonborn
Dragonborn is the third piece of downloadable content for Skyrim. As the name suggests, it revisits the main dragon storyline of the central game, and is rumored to allow players to ride on dragons. The expansion takes place on Solstheim, an island to the east of Skyrim. It's release date has been announced as the 4th of December on the Xbox 360, however release dates for other consoles and PC have not been announced.
The storyline of the expansion takes place on the island of Solstheim, an island located northeast of Skyrim and features the first dragonborn as the main antagonist. The official summary is as follows:
“
Journey off the coast of Morrowind, to the island of Solstheim.
Encounter new towns, dungeons, and quests, as you traverse the ash wastes and glacial valleys of this new land. Become more powerful with shouts that bend the will of your enemies and even tame dragons. Your fate, and the fate of Solstheim, hangs in the balance as you face off against your deadliest adversary – the first Dragonborn.”
The expansion is set to feature many new quests, shouts, weapons, armor, and the ability to tame and ride dragons.
