Introduction
Sonic Adventure 2 is a game released for the Dreamcast game system on June 19, 2001. It was later released as Sonic Adventure 2: Battle for the Nintendo Gamecube on February 12, 2002 with more features and minor changes to the level setup. In October of 2012 it was released on the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade. This game has sold well over 1 million copies and is the tenth best-selling Nintendo GameCube game of all time.
This game is the direct sequel of Sonic Adventure and features the return of most characters from the first game. This game introduces new characters and a new way of playing. Rather than free roaming an over world to find your next level, you start one level after another with cut scenes in between.
