Following the well-established crime-motif of the series, the player takes on the role of Niko Bellic, an immigrant from Serbia who arrives in Liberty City and begins a life of crime, working his way up from street thug to crime lord.
GTA IV introduced better physics and a more advanced graphical engine to the game series, providing gamers with the appearance of a living and breathing city. Released on 29 April 2008, GTA IV remains one of the best liked games in the series.
