Put a weaker pokeon in there. Give it EXP. Share. Then when you are done with pokeon league it should have grown pretty wel. My results hae been lv 5 to lv 33. If you really have a UNSTOPPABLE team, then you can make it first in your party and sub it out at the beginning each time your opponent sends out a pokemon. But you need to have a really good team to beat them like this.
