This guide will take you through each microgame explaining what to do, as well as each form and unlockable there is to offer. The latest in the WarioWare series, Smooth Moves this time has you using the Wii remote to perform various actions to pass each minigame. With 19 poses coupled with the series' trademark humour this game is awesome fun, despite it's short reply value. I hope you enjoy the guide, - Matt =============================================================================== --------------------- TABLE OF CONTENTS --------------------- =============================================================================== 1. VERSION HISTORY ---------------------- =============================================================================== +--------------------------+ | Version 1.0 - 13/01/2007 | +--------------------------+ The first version of the FAQ, everything is complete! =============================================================================== -------------------- 2. GAME OVERVIEW -------------------- =============================================================================== =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 2.01. Story =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= This is the 'story' of WarioWare: Smooth Moves - note that it has been lifted from the game's manual, and none of it is of my own composition. -- Message From The Editor In Chief, Wario. Have I got a story for you! It all started this morning, when I was taking a break from starting this column. Just as I sat down in my snacking chair, a freakish little creature appeared out of nowhere and snatched all my food away!NO ONE MESSES WITH ME LIKE THAT! I started running after the little weirdo, but he was pretty fast! Before I knew it, we were in this rickety old shack on the other side of town. Apparently, the shack was a temple for some ancient civilization! Wha-wha-WHAT! Talk about FREAKY! Anyway, inside the shack I found this stick and picked it up. Nothing about the stick screamed TREASURE! or GET RICH QUICK! but I've got a nose for that kinda thing. Plus, I noticed that, depending on how I moved and held the stick-thing, different things would happen. Suddenly, I had one of my patented great ideas: I would share the wisdom of the ancients with the people of DIAMOND CITY. And what better way to share information than creating a magazine! So, TA DA! Here it is. I know what you're thinkin', but really, I'm not trying to turn a profit by selling my magazine! But it's not like I'm gonna turn away donations or anything! Because I'm Editor In Chief, the magazine is called... THE "WEEKLY WARIO"! WHAT ELSE?! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 2.02. Basics =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= WarioWare: Smooth Moves is a game of fast paced minigames one after another. If you fail the minigame then you lose a life, if you succeed then you march on. Every so often you will come across a boss battle, and if you win you will gain a life and the difficulty of the minigames will increase. If you lose then you lose one life and you the difficulty of the minigames will increase regardless. You start with four lives and if you lose them, it's game over. You cannot get more than four lives at one time. You can fail the minigame through several ways, which are explained in the minigame section later, however each one has a time limit (except the boss battles). You can check what the time limit is by the bomb and fuse line at the bottom of the screen. Of course the shorter the fuse, the less time remains. Usually you will receive audio conformation when you succeed of fail a mini game. Before each minigame, you are told which Pose to assume in order to play the minigame. From that pose you are meant to perform movements in order to pass the game, so for example with Umbrella you have make Mario jump by jerking the Wiimote vertically upward, or by hitting it forward you can swat flies in another minigame. As you progress through the Single Player unlocking more and more characters, more Poses become available but don't worry as each one comes with a quick explanation. On the Main Menu, you have a selection of characters. Each one has a different range of minigames with different poses to each (although some overlap). Each one has a unique boss as well at regular intervals, while the minigames for that character come in a random order. The game ends when you lose all your lives, as it goes on forever - although it does get ridiculously hard in the later numbers. ------ Handy! ------ In the Factory, it's possible to change which hand you will play with. Of course choose the one you will play with as this will change some things. The bomb and fuse location will differ (so it goes on the opposite side your hand will be so you can see it). Some minigames will change too, such as Rotate! where the rotating wheel will be on the opposite side. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 2.03. Controls and Poses =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ------- Buttons ------- A Button - Select / Microgame Action B Button - Speed through Menu Explanations / Microgame Action + and - Buttons - Pause Game As the above shows you mainly use the Wii remote motion to play the games. Before each game you need to assume a pose, which can be seen below. Although the game advises you to stand and use the wrist strap, neither as used as most games can be done by sitting (the odd few can be cheated with to compensate, which are explained in the minigames). If you want to pause then press both + and - together, or easier still, the HOME button. -----Poses ----- Here is every pose in the game, and how to get them right. You unlock more as you get in the game, but here is all 19 (21 including the nunchuk) poses. The Remote Control Just point the Wiimote toward the screen. Most of these games involve using the pointer, so ensure you aim the Wiimote at the screen before the game actually starts. Sounds stupid, but it's a common mistake. The Umbrella Hold the Wiimote upright so the front faces you, with your thumb over the A button incase you need to use it during a microgame. From here you can move it in any direction according to the microgame. The Handlebar Hold the Wiimote face up and so the pointer is facing left, and hold it with two hands on either end. Games include pumping up and down, or keeping balance by holding it straight. The Samurai From your left hip, when the game starts move it toward the screen. This includes slicing objects and a gun-wielding draw. The Sketch Artist The same as the Remote Control, except you are holding the Wiimote with your thumb and index finger, still face up and pointing at the screen. Although most these games are pointing ones anyway, some require the positioning to succeed properly (such as Darts, as throwing is easier in this position). Basically you are holding the Wiimote like you would a pencil or pen. The Chauffeur This is basically the Handlebar, but the front of the Wiimote facing toward you with the pointer still pointing left. You need this for the car driving boss game and various others, like Extreme Patty-Cake. Just make sure it's facing you however, otherwise you might bugger up a little. The Waiter Hold out your hand flat and rest the Wiimote face up upon it. Most of these games require balance of some degree, so when you are doing one of these games hold it as flat and as still as you can before the game begins. The Tug-Of-War Pointing the Wiimote toward the screen with two hands on it, most of these games involve moving the Wiimote away or toward the screen. Although this is the same as the Remote Control effectively, the two handed stance does help get you pulling the remote to pass the games. The Elephant Hold the Wiimote from your nose facing outward. You don't actually have to do this as it's pretty much the same as the Remote Control (most use the pointer) however it's more fun if you actually do. :) The Discard This is where you put the Wiimote down and pick it up at the right time. Although it tells you face down, *most* of the time this doesn't matter, and also you can just face it down in midair and hover it, then move it (if you haven't got a surface nearby). Just have your hand by the Wiimote ready to pick it up however. The Thumb Wrestler Hold it upright with your thumb over the sensor. Like the Umbrella, but you need to have your thumb at the top. The microgames aren't that different, mind. The Big Cheese Requires to you have your Wiimote at your side. This includes using a hola hoop and flapping your arms to fly. Can be cheated with though by just holding it in front of you and replicating the same actions. The Mohawk Hold the Wiimote with both hands just above your head with the front pointing toward the TV screen. Most of these have you moving your body (such as doing squats), aiming, or stabbing down from this top position. Like many of these whacky poses, this one can be faked by just holding it in front of you and replicating the same movements. The Dumbbell Hold the Wiimote in one hand to it's side, so it's facing to the right. Games require you to move the Wiimote up and down, or sometimes across. The Janitor Hold the Wiimote upright so it faces you, and with two hands like a broom. The same as the Umbrella but with two hands. The Finger Food Hold the Wiimote on it's side between your thumb and finger, with the tip still facing the screen. It's named because you pose like you would when picking out finger food. Almost all of these involve you rotating the Wiimote to the sides, like for unlocking doors with a key. The Boxer Hold the Wiimote in one hand to it's side, so it's facing to the left. This is the same as The Dumbbell but facing the other way. The Mortar and Pestle Hold the Wiimote in your right hand vertically and hold the bottom with your left. This is mostly so it's stablised and doesn't move the Wiimote around, as an example microgame includes holding it like a joystick. The Diner A Both the Wiimote and Nunchuck held up, facing toward you. The Diner B Both the Wiimote and Nunchuk face down and pointing towad the screen. The Diner C Have the Wiimote and Nunchuck's tips facing one another. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 2.04. You start off with just Wario in the centre and the more you play the game the more things appear. Objective: What you have to do. Variations: What things change, such as object and formation. Level 1 - Variations for the first level. Level 2 - Variations for the second level. Level 3 - Variations for the third level. Strategy: Tips on how to succeed! Wario =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============== Poses Required ============== The Remote Control Just point the Wiimote toward the screen. Most of these games involve using the pointer, so ensure you aim the Wiimote at the screen before the game actually starts. Sounds stupid, but it's a common mistake. ========== Microgames ========== ------------ Pest Control ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control. Objective: Shoot the targets on the monster to take him down. Variations: Level 1 - One Target. Level 2 - Two Targets. Level 3 - Three Targets. Strategy: Just point toward the targets and it will lock on, and press A or B to shoot. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The explosions once they are defeated remind me of the 16 bit shooter sort, which is kinda cool. ------------- Playing Hooky ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control. Objective: Hook onto the guy and lift him out of the tray. Variations: Level 1 - Stationary Guy, face on. Level 2 - Stationary Guy, slightly out of the way. Slightly. Level 3 - Moving Guy, side on. Strategy: Point toward his location and lower down. If it doesn't hook on, then move the Wiimote toward or away from you until you get it (the Wiimote will rumble) and jerk upward. The third level if anything is easier than the others. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. -------- Wario PI ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Adjust the focus on the magnifying class to clear up the image, by moving the Wiimote further or away from the TV screen. Variations: Level 1 - Slight adjustment. Level 2 - More adjustment. Level 3 - Most adjustment. Strategy: Most of the time you just need to move it away from the screen a short distance, but just play around until it gets clearest and hold it in that position. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Various objects can be seen, including your Mii, aliens and ice cream. ------------ On the Ropes ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Move the skipping rope around to make the guys skip by holding the Wiimote flat and rotating your arm round in a circle. Variations: Level 1 - One skipper. Level 2 - Two skippers. Level 3 - Three skippers. Strategy: Rotate around really quickly to ensure you get all the skippers out of the way in time. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------- Take a Stab at It ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Skewer all the items thrown toward you, by pointing toward them so they land on the sword. Variations: Level 1 - One item. Level 2 - Two items. Level 3 - Three items. Strategy: Just concentrate on where they are going and point toward them, and obviously point at the nearest object first. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The first two items are just fruit, but the third is usually a random item such as a shoe. ------------ Wokka Wokka! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Throw the food up in the wok until it lands on the plate by jerking up the furthest end of the Wiimote up. Variations: Level 1 - Single throw. Level 2 - Couple of throws. Level 3 - Multiple throws. Strategy: Just keep jerking up the Wiimote a few times until it all flies off and lands on the plate showing in the next cutscene. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different people will be sitting at the table on each level. ------------- Crowd Control ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Usher off the people by pointing the smelly stick in their direction by using the Wiimotes pointer. Variations: Level 1 - A few people. Level 2 - More people. Level 3 - A lotta people. Strategy: From the centre, make circles getting bigger going outward to force them off the screen, and then pick off any remaining until the screen is clear. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different smelly objects will be found on the end of the stick, including rotten food and a skunk. -------- Wario Fu ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Controlling the guy with the pointer, move him around the screen to avoid the various dangers. Variations: Level 1 - A few birds. Level 2 - A few more birds. Level 3 - Birds, Walking people and falling objects. Strategy: For the first two levels, remain in the middle of the screen so you can see the birds coming from the sides, enabling you to easily move out of the way in time. The third level is quite tricky; I find it easier to stay in the middle and when the birds show up plant myself underneath them to avoid any falling objects, also noting to move incase of people also. Obstacles: Birds, Falling Objects (spike balls and sticks), People. Other notes: None. ---------------------------- You Can Pick Your Friends... ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Point the finger using the Wiimote and move it forward to jab it into the nasal passage of your choosing. Variations: Level 1 - One finger. Level 2 - One finger. Level 3 - Two fingers. Strategy: Get yourself acquainted with your position, line up and then slowly move the Wiimote forward so it slots nicely into a nostril. With level 3 (two fingers) take some more time to position. Obstacles: None. Other notes: This has featured in the original WarioWare and Touched! but in 2D. ------------ Poster Child ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Flatten the poster against the wall by pointing the hand across the edges. Variations: Level 1 - Slight unpeeling. Level 2 - Fair unpeeling. Level 3 - Much peeling. Very appealing. Strategy: You'll be able to see the main parts straight off, so quickly smooth over them, and any minor corners or areas will be shown by the wind, otherwise just go over the edges quickly if you cannot see where the poster is coming off. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The Wanted Wario poster head comes alive. Wooooah. -------------- Shaving Scream ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Shave off the facial hair by pointing the shaver toward it. Variations: Level 1 - Slight amount of facial hair above mouth Level 2 - More facial hair around mouth, longer hair elsewhere Level 3 - Complete facial hair around mouth, longer hair elsewhere Strategy: Point the Wiimote at the facial hair to shave it off. Later stages will include longer hair either at the chin or sideburns, but just takes the same time to shave (just out of the way I guess). If you haven't passed, go over the stubble edges to get any remaining bits. Obstacles: None. Other notes: He'll show some soreness after the shave. Worth documenting? ----------- One In Hole ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Move the hole under the characters to make them disappear. Requires pointing and moving the Wiimote toward or further away from the screen. Variations: Level 1 - One character. Level 2 - Two characters. Level 3 - Two moving characters. Strategy: Point the hole under each character until they fall down, the only real trouble you'll have is controlling the hole as it's somewhat fiddily. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Grass grows in the area after you've finished. ----------------------- BOSS STAGE: Biggest Fan ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Take down Wario's plans for world domination by using... a giant fan! Move the Wiimote up and down to fan. Variations: Level 1 - Several Wariolings, Standard RoboWario. Level 2 - More Wariolings, Advanced RoboWario. Level 3 - Most Wariolings, Tough RoboWario. Strategy: For the first section, lots of little Wariolings will come over the cliff and advance toward you. Just fan away at this point, no strategy needed. When facing RoboWario, wait until he has fully appeared from the edge of the cliff and has his hand raised, and quickly fan away until he either lowers his hand or is blown away. If you fan when his hand is down, he'll just block. When he is blown away you are done here. The later stages have RoboWarios that attack slightly quicker, so after the blocks be prepared for his attack; one swipe will take out the fan for good! Obstacles: Wariolings, RoboWario. Other notes: None. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3.02. Mona =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============== Poses Required ============== The Remote Control Just point the Wiimote toward the screen. ========== Microgames ========== ------------ Stage Fright ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Using the Wiimote pointer, shine the light to find the little guy. Variations: Level 1 - Large Light. Level 2 - Medium Light. Level 3 - Small Light; guy moves. Strategy: Just quickly search the entire screen and when you catch a glimpse keep him in view for a second or so to complete this microgame. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------- Welcome Committee ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Control the rocket by tilting the Wiimote side to side and aim it into the alien spaceship. Variations: Level 1 - Stationary spaceship. Level 2 - Moving spaceship. Level 3 - Offensive spaceship. Strategy: Just aim toward the spaceship for this one; the first level is pretty tricky though, just head around the projectiles so you come round and hit the ship from one of the sides. Obstacles: Projectiles from spaceship (level 3 only). Other notes: Kind of reminds me of when Will Smith says 'Welcome to Earth' in Independence Day. The theme and title at least. ------------------------- Keep Your Guy On The Ball ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Handlebar Objective: Hold the Wiimote still to keep the guy balanced on the ball! Variations: Level 1 - Long balancing stick. Level 2 - Medium sized balanced stick. Level 3 - Shortest balancing stick, easier to give way. Strategy: Hopefully you'll be starting this game off with the Wiimote held horizontally straight as much as possible, otherwise you'll topple right over. If you start giving way, only gradually tilt the Wiimote in the opposite direction - sudden movements will just make you come off the other side. On Level 3, the movements you make have more an impact so make sure you make them more gradual. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The panda makes a funny noise when you near the edge. :) ------- Fan Boy ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Fan the Wiimote back and forth to keep the paper butterflies in the air! Variations: Level 1 - One paper butterfly. Level 2 - Three paper butterflies. Level 3 - Five paper butterflies. Strategy: Keep a steady rythm back and forth to keep them in the air; going too fast or slow will make them fall to the ground. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------- Shakedown ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Shake the Wiimote to remove the debris from the object! Variations: Level 1 - Insects on a banana Level 2 - Soapy suds on a man Level 3 - Tiny robots on a robot Strategy: Just quickly shake the Wiimote from side to side (only a few centimetres either way) until all the insects or suds are removed. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different ending animations for each level, the first two featuring a crudly drawn banana. --------- Swat Team ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Whack the Wiimote forward to swat the fly on the wall! Variations: Level 1 - Stationary fly. Level 2 - Moving fly, smaller swatter. Level 3 - Faster moving fly, even smaller swatter. Strategy: The first level is straight forward, just whack it forward to pass. The second and third levels involve a moving fly, so wait until it stops in the centre of the screen and quickly swat it to pass. If you are too slow, then it'll fly away and you'll fail. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------- Carrot Away ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Handlebar Objective: Pull the carrots out of the ground by pulling up on the Wiimote! Variations: Level 1 - One carrot. Level 2 - Two carrots. Level 3 - Three carrots. Strategy: Quickly pull up on the Wiimote to get the carrot out of the ground - it requires about a movement of 1ft upward, otherwise he'll just stumble so be don't be afraid to over do it! Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------- Runner's High ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Finish the race by holding the Wiimote like a baton and running! Variations: Level 1 - No competitors. Level 2 - One competitor. Level 3 - Two competitors. Strategy: Move your arm as if you were running up and down so make him run towards the finish. On later stages you have competitors to win against, so make sure you come first. Oh and you have to finish the face on all the levels in order to pass. Obstacles: None. Other notes: On certain races, they will have 'Go NAME!' where NAME would be the one you entered for your profile! -------- Fired Up ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Handlebar Objective: Change the angle of the bouncing bar to correctly bounce the survivors to the firemen! Variations: Level 1 - One bar. Level 2 - Two bars. Level 3 - Two bars, two survivors. Strategy: For all of these only gradual tilting is required. For level 1, just tilt it slightly toward the fire crew. For Level 2, tilt the top bar toward the bottom one, and midbounce tilt it toward the fire crew to get him to safety. For level 3 you have two bars and two survivors; you only need to use one of these bars though, so whatever one the first survivor goes toward, that's the one you'll use for the other. Bounce them both straight to the fire crew and not off the other bar. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------- Dough Boy ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Spin the pizza by rotating the top end of the Wiimote! Variations: Level 1 - Medium pizza, few toppings. Level 2 - Large pizza, more toppings. Level 3 - Extra large pizza of death, most toppings. Strategy: Just quickly spin the pizza at a constant pace until it's formed. Later levels just have you spinning it for a bit longer. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------ Up For Grabs ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Pull the various items out of their holds! Point the hand toward the item and once it's gripped on, just jerk back away from the screen to pull it out. Variations: Level 1 - Nose hair. Level 2 - Remote Control from boy. Level 3 - Two umbrellas. Strategy: Quickly target the object and jerk backward away from the screen to pull out the object. The second and third levels require two tugs, as the boy puts up a fight and the second level has you aiming at the second umbrella and pulling that one once you have finished with the first. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------- Come to Poppa ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Handlebar Objective: Pump the Wiimote up and down to inflate the balloon until it bursts! Variations: Level 1 - Large balloon. Level 2 - Medium balloon. Level 3 - Small balloon. Strategy: The later levels require more pumps. You need to really go at it for this one, even on level 1, so really pump away in order to pass. It might be easier if you do this one handed too. The later levels have the balloon smaller so there is more to pump, so act sharp. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different objects come out of the balloon when burst, including birds, confetti and a small man with a leaf. The level 3 balloon also looks like a tomato. ------------ Closing Time ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Handlebar Objective: Close the shop shutters by pushing the Wiimote control down. Variations: Level 1 - Few customers. Level 2 - More customers. Level 3 - More customers, some wanted to get in. Strategy: For the first two levels, when everyone is out just close the shutters (level 2 has an old lady go in when everyone is leaving, but that's fine). For level 3, once everyone has left quickly close the shop, as two people want back in and letting them in will fail you. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The shutter animation will be a tomato, chicken and house (in that order). Shutting customers in when they are leaving will make them run into the shutter, creating an imprint of their body. Someones your name will appear above the shop, such as 'NAME's MARKET'. --------- Over Easy ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Flip over the food by fliping over the Wiimote control face down! Variations: Level 1 - Pancake. Level 2 - Starfish. Level 3 - Large fish (understatement). Strategy: You aren't meant to be flipping it up in the air, just turn the Wiimote from face up to face down so you are dropping it back onto the saucepan. If you don't do it quick enough you'll just drop it on the same side. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different animations for winning; when the food is served, the pancake is joined by more and some syrup, the starfish is joined by more moving starfish and the large fish just moves off the plate (clearly underdone). ------------------ Honeymoon Fall Out ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Reach out and grab the arm of the falling girl! Variations: Level 1 - Fairly close. Level 2 - A slight tad further away. Level 3 - Slightly further away still, arm moving around. Strategy: Move the Wiimote toward the screen pointing toward her arm quickly to rescue her. Wait too long as you cannot reach her and she falls too her doom (oops). The final level her arm is moving around so move toward her in that general direction and then quickly adjust to grab her properly. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different surroundings; skyscraper, canyon, plane (if you fail the last one, she is swept away by the rushing air at the last minute, somewhat sadistically funny). -------------------- Universal Marionette ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Handlebar Objective: Move the puppet's strings by tilting the Wiimote to bat away the watermelon onslaught! Variations: Level 1 - Few watermelons. Level 2 - More watermelons. Level 3 - Lots of watermelons, both sides. Strategy: Tilt up in the direction you want to swing the limbs to bat away the oncoming fruit. I found just going crazy with the tilting works rather well, although you may need to be more specific on level 3. Obstacles: None. Other notes: If you fail to bat the watermelons away, a watermelon will replace the puppets head. Keep failing and they will just keep on replacing. ----------- Cupsy Daisy ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control. Objective: Get the ball in the cup! Variations: Level 1 - Short string. Level 2 - Medium string. Level 3 - Long string. Strategy: Simply move from The Remote Control (pointing face on) to The Umbrella (pointing upward) quickly and the ball will fall into the cup. Ta da. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Flowers will grow out of the top of the cup. ------------- Escape Artist ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Lower the helicopter and ladder to rescue 'Fronk' from the building! Variations: Level 1 - Open roof. Level 2 - Denser roof. Level 3 - Dense passage on the roof. Strategy: Direct the helicopter above the passage and move left and right until the ladder falls down the passage, and when Fronk grabs on pull up and awaaaay. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Fronk has featured in other WarioWare games, I'm sure. ----------------- Five More Minutes ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Tap the top of the alarm clock to turn it off! Variations: Level 1 - Close positioning. Level 2 - Far positioning. Level 3 - Moving around. Strategy: Ensure you are pointing at the screen and point the arm over the alarm clock, and move the Wiimote down to stop the clock. Later you need to move a bit further up the screen. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------- Tearful Reunion ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Handlebar Objective: Tilt the Wiimote toward the island to make the zipwire move the person toward it, when the timing is right. Variations: Level 1 - Clear path to the island. Level 2 - Whale blocking path. Level 3 - Two whales blocking the path. Strategy: For levels 2 and 3, wait for the water to stop spirting and tilt the Wiimote toward the island. Obstacles: Whales. Other notes: The zipwire can go either left or right, with the guy or lass on it.s ------------ Hand Me Down ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Hand the erm, hand the object you are holding! Variations: Level 1 - Slow moving hand. Level 2 - Jerky moving hand. Level 3 - Speratdic moving hand. Strategy: When the time is right, move the Wiimote from upright to horizontal to give the object to the hand. Watch the timing in order to pass, as if you get it wrong then you'll just throw the object away. Oops! Obstacles: None. Other notes: Objects include pipes, leaks and bananas. The hand may also be dirty too! ---------------- Wet Your Whistle ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Drink the water from the cup! Variations: Level 1 - Small amount of water. Level 2 - Half a cup of water. Level 3 - Full cup of water. Strategy: Gradually tilt the water toward you (as if you were drinking) until it's all gone. If you tilt too quickly you'll just splash it over your face and fail! Obstacles: None. Other notes: The liquid has different effects on each level. Level 1 the water will make long thin hairs grow out of his head, Level 2 is an afro, and Level 3 will make him super muscley! --------------------------- BOSS STAGE: Toilet Training ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Guide people into the toilets, either into male or female! Variations: Level 1 - Few people, reasonable order. Level 2 - More people, slight disorder. Level 3 - Lots of people, less order. Strategy: From pointing the Wiimote up, move it right to guide the ladies to the women's toilets and left to guide them to the men's. They will come down from the top of the screen and take various paths on their way. The first level the order is pretty much as they come. The second level has some of them tripping up, and so others may over take them; have quick reactions to change toilets if that happens. The third level has more people tripping and people jumping from the middle toward you; keep an eye out on all those that are coming down and remember what sex the jumper was so when they appear in a second or two you can quickly send them on their way. Make one mistake and you fail! Obstacles: None. Other notes: Make a mistake and the person will fly into the other toilet, rather humourous. Also your created Mii's occasionally make an appearance! =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3.03. Kat & Ana =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============== Poses Required ============== The Remote Control Just point the Wiimote toward the screen. Most of these games involve using the pointer, so ensure you aim the Wiimote at the screen before the game actually starts. Sounds stupid, but it's a common mistake. ========== Microgames ========== ------------ Cutting Edge ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Samurai Objective: Slice the object! Variations: Level 1 - Stationary object. Level 2 - Moving object. Level 3 - Jumping object. Strategy: Slice across the screen from the side to take out the object. Do it quickly for the second level, and for the third, point the Wiimote at the edge of the screen and quickly move across when the falls across the screen and down the hole. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------- On The Edge ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Complete the line tracing! Variations: Level 1 - Less to trace. Level 2 - More to trace. Level 3 - A lot to trace. Strategy: Using the pointer, just follow around the dark line to fill it in until it's complete. You have more to do in later levels so be quicker. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different objects to trace leading to different animations, such as circles (plates), hearts (ugly faced heart) and fish (blimp). -------------- Serve Already! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Bounce the ball on the racket! Variations: Level 1 - Standard Tennis Racket. Level 2 - Smaller Tennis Racket. Level 3 - Table Tennis Paddle. Strategy: You get a second or two to position in the centre of the screen, with the shadow of the ball showing where it will land. Keep bouncing the ball until the game finishes. Keep it in the middle, and if you like you can hit it up in the air, which may save you some bounces. The last stage is Table Tennis, which is pretty tough as it requires more bounces but just keep your hand steady and your bounces vertical. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------- Paper Trail ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Guide the paper airplane around the tree! Variations: Level 1 - Slow speed, tree central. Level 2 - Fast speed, tree central. Level 3 - Fast speed, tree random placing. Strategy: Take the plane down under the tree leaves with some distance away from the ground and keep it steady until you finish. It gets faster in later stages so just keep steady, and dodge that tree. Just clipping the leaves can fail you. Obstacles: Tree. Other notes: Fun! ----------- Objet D'Art ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Throw the dart at the dart board! Variations: Level 1 - Normal sized board. Level 2 - Smaller board. Level 3 - Smallest board. Strategy: Ensure you have doing the Sketch Artist pose (holding the Wiimote between your thumb and finger), aim above the centre and jolt it forward toward the screen, throwing it at the board with some luck. As long as you hit somewhere on the main board, you'll pass. Obstacles: None. Other notes: If you hit a bullseye (the centre) it lights up the board! Whee! -------------- Frequent Flyer ----------------------------------------- Pose: Pass out fliers to people. Objective: The Samurai Variations: Level 1 - Stationary person. Level 2 - Walking person. Level 3 - Running person. Strategy: Quickly point the Wiimote at the screen to hand out the flier. For the other levels, wait until they are in front of you or have stopped before handing out the flier. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------------ Extreme Patty-Cake ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Chauffeur Objective: Clap the hands of the person in front of you! Variations: Level 1 - Stationary hands. Level 2 - Hands move away gradually. Level 3 - Hands move away quickly. Strategy: Jolt the Wiimote toward the screen to clap the persons hands and to send them flying. For the second and third levels they will move their hands away every so often, so wait until they do this and when they put them back into position hit them good. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different people on each level. The third one gets eaten by a giant cat if you get him. -------------- Writer's Block ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Scribble the pen on the paper until the ink returns! Variations: Level 1 - Quickly writes again. Level 2 - Takes a while to write. Level 3 - Takes ages to write. Strategy: Point at the centre of the page and shake like mad until it starts writing again. The third level takes a while so go CRAZY! Obstacles: None. Other notes: All three pens look different, the last one looking rather expensive. ---- BYOM ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Chauffeur Objective: Spin the Wiimote round to cook the meat evenly! Variations: Level 1 - Thin slab of meat. Level 2 - Thick slab of meat. Level 3 - Roll the meat to the village. Strategy: Rotate the Wiimote around quickly so it cooks the meat. If you take too long you'll burn it and you'll fail. The third level sees you rolling it toward the village, be faster here. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------- Teeth Polithe ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Insert the teeth into the ladies mouth! Variations: Level 1 - Standing still. Level 2 - Moving left to right. Level 3 - Moving herself and her jaw. Strategy: Point the Wiimote at the screen and when you've got it right, move the Wiimote toward the screen to insert them into her mouth. Later stages she is moving left to right, with level 3 seeing her opening and closing her gob. She has it open from the off, so if you are quick you can pass this game sharpish. Obstacles: None. Other notes: She wears different clothing and eats different foods upon completion, such as an apple, corn on the cob and a carrot. ------------- Cookie Rookie ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Cut out the shape from the dough! Variations: Level 1 - Large sheet of dough. Level 2 - Medium sized sheet of dough. Level 3 - Small sheet of dough. Strategy: Aim carefully in the centre of the dough and move the Wiimote toward the screen to make the imprint. If you get it at the edge and only cut off half of the shape you fail! So make sure you cut it out right. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different shapes including crosses and men. ---------------------- A Moment of Reflection ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Chauffeur Objective: Shine the light on the head of the nearest person! Variations: Level 1 - Large hairdo. Level 2 - No hair, and so a smaller target. Level 3 - Moving from left to right. Strategy: Move the mirror by tilting the Wiimote so it shines on the head of the person nearest. Keep doing this until the game is complete. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different things occur, like the hair burning or making the bold hair shinier. ----------- Saving Face ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Aim at the ladies head for snapping a picture! Variations: Level 1 - Close up. Level 2 - Out of the way. Level 3 - Far away. Strategy: You'll see some of her body, so point the Wiimote in the direction of her bounce and keep aiming there until you pass. You may be asked to rotate the Wiimote for a portrait image too. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------------- Stick It Through 'Em! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Skewer all the food! Variations: Level 1 - Food is stationary. Level 2 - Food moves slightly. Level 3 - Comets move a lot. Strategy: Jab forward with the Wiimote when the food is lined up. With levels 2 and 3 there will be a time when they are all lined up so just wait and quickly jab to pass this microgame. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The finishing animations differ for all three levels; Level 1 has the muscle man eating the food, level 2 three muscle men wear apple helmets and level 3 has the muscle man riding a rocket into space. ------------ Shear Terror ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Shave the animal! Variations: Level 1 - Shave the sheep. Level 2 - Shave the dog. Level 3 - Shave the mammoth. Strategy: Pointing at the centre of the screen, it only takes slight movement around that central point to get all the hair from each animal. Make sure you get all the sides too. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The mammoth turns out to be an elephant when you complete level 3. ---------- Fitting In ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Chauffeur Objective: Raise your arms in time with the others! Variations: Level 1 - Fair timing. Level 2 - More timing. Level 3 - Raising and lowering. Strategy: Get the timing of the line and raise your arms when it's your turn - use the rumble of the Wiimote to help you here. For Level 3, keep the Wiimote raised in the air as the line will double back and you'll be required to lower it. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. -------------- S-T-R-E-T-C-H! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Point toward the item the animal wants! Variations: Level 1 - Cat wants the fish. Level 2 - Elephant wants the apple. Level 3 - Monkey wants the baby monkey. Strategy: Just point at the item on the other side of the screen. Apart from the different animals there's no difference in timing or difficulty. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ---------------- Budget Dentistry ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Sketch Artist Objective: Do the fillings in the patient's mouth! Variations: Level 1 - One filling. Level 2 - Two fillings. Level 3 - Three fillings. Strategy: Just point the Wiimote at the filling and wait a second for them to be done, and move on to the rest. They are easy to spot as they are flashing orange and yellow. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Flowers fly out of the throat upon completion. ----------- A-maze-ing! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Chauffeur Objective: Get the ball out of the maze by tilting the Wiimote! Variations: Level 1 - Ball positioned at the edge of the maze. Level 2 - Ball positioned near the centre of the maze. Level 3 - Ball positioned at the centre of the maze. Strategy: Tilting the Wiimote will tilt the maze, so move it so the ball drops down below, then in the next direction and so on. Tilt sharply as you won't have much time to finish each one that quickly. Obstacles: None. Other notes: As far as I can tell, it's the same maze each time. ---------- Simon Says ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Samurai Objective: Match the pose! Variations: Level 1 - Quick pose. Level 2 - Longer pose. Level 3 - Longest pose. Strategy: Match the pose of the guy on screen. However as all of them are just the Wiimote facing up, you can get away with just have the Wiimote in the facing up Umbrella position, and nudge it up slightly to fool the game into thinking you've moved and you will pass. Although this microgame isn't exactly tough anyway. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------- Code Dependency ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Chauffeur Objective: Scan the item through the barcode reader! Variations: Level 1 - Smaller item. Level 2 - Larger item. Level 3 - Most awkward item. Strategy: Rotate the Wiimote around to move the item until the barcode is facing down. Once it's scanned, you've passed. If it doesn't read fiddle around with the positioning until it does. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The higher the level, the most expensive the item becomes. --------- Mall Tour ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Samurai Objective: Strum the guitar until you rock the crowd out! Variations: Level 1 - Small crowd. Level 2 - Medium crowd. Level 3 - Largest crowd. Strategy: Just move the Wiimote up and down in front of you until the crowd moves up the screen and to the stage, where you pass. Later stages just keep shaking until you are done. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------------- BOSS STAGE: Driver's Ed ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Chauffeur Objective: Drive the car to the finish! Variations: Level 1 - Linear Course, few obstacles. Level 2 - Winding Course, few obstacles. Level 3 - Very twisty course, most obstacles. Strategy: Drive using the Wiimote like a steering wheel to the finish line. The only things you can hit at cows (most of which are at the sides of the road) and the trees at the trackside. The birds that fly across the screen just cloud your vision and the monkeys you cannot run over. Just stay on the road at all costs. Later stages the track is very twisty, so stay on your toes and really tilt the remote to turn sharply. Obstacles: Cows. Other notes: None. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3.04. Young Cricket =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============== Poses Required ============== The Remote Control Just point the Wiimote toward the screen. Most of these games involve using the pointer, so ensure you aim the Wiimote at the screen before the game actually starts. Sounds stupid, but it's a common mistake. :) ========== Microgames ========== ------------ Broom Shtick ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Waiter Objective: Keep the broom upright! Variations: Level 1 - Short head. Level 2 - Medium head. Level 3 - Long head. Strategy: Hold the broom as still as possible. If it moves then gradually move the Wiimote in the opposite direction. If you start this game with the Wiimote moving or unstraight, then it'll fall over straight away so get it right! Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------- That's How I Roll ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Waiter Objective: Roll the balls into the holes! Variations: Level 1 - One ball. Level 2 - Two balls. Level 3 - Three balls. Strategy: Moving the Wiimote moves the stage, so tilt it so a ball goes into the hole closest to it to start with then deal with the rest. Do small gradual movements, as if you start rolling around it will be hard to stop the ball and you won't be able to get it back into the centre again. Obstacles: None. Other notes: A snowman, rainbow and dolphins come out of the rolls when you complete this microgame. ---------------- Plane and Simple ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Tug-Of-War Objective: Plane the wood! Variations: Level 1 - Short amount of wood. Level 2 - Medium amount of wood. Level 3 - Large amount of wood. Strategy: Pull the Wiimote toward you, then foward and back again until all the wood is planed. The later stages have more wood to plane so do it faster. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Level 1 are skiis, Level 2 are train tracks and Level 3 are the rings of Saturn. --------- Logged In ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Tug-Of-War Objective: Saw the wood! Variations: Level 1 - Thin piece of wood. Level 2 - Medium piece of wood. Level 3 - Large piece of wood. Strategy: Lower the Wiimote so put the saw to the wood so it doesn't bend and move it back and forth to saw through it. You'll need to be quicker in the later stages, but saw slower to begin with then speed up otherwise you'll bend the saw. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The first level has a heart shape through the wood. ---------- Anchor Man ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Tug-Of-War Objective: Play Tug-Of-War and win! Variations: Level 1 - One tug. Level 2 - Two tugs. Level 3 - Three-five tugs. Strategy: Pull back on the Wiimote to tug the team over the line. Stage 3 is tough as it takes at least 3 to do, so just keep tugging back and forth quickly until you manage it. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------------- Castanet, First Chair ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Waiter Objective: Slap the Castanet (the Wiimote) in time! Variations: Level 1 - One note. Level 2 - Two notes. Level 3 - Three notes. Strategy: Holding the Wiimote in your hand, slap the top it with the other hand when the note passes through it. It does pick it up surprisingly and be sure to do it firmly. You need to do it in time for the later stages. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The notes turn into frogs if you pass, otherwise they will get eaten by a snake. ----------------- Meet The Eggheads ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Guide the boy egg to his parents! Variations: Level 1 - Linear maze. Level 2 - Bendy maze. Level 3 - Very bendy maze. Strategy: Point the Wiimote at the boy egg to assume control of him, and slowly guide him through the maze. If you touch the normal sizes you lose control, and if you touch the jaggied edges then you fail. Take your time and have a steady aim. Obstacles: Jaggied edges. Other notes: The screen colour changes as you near the jaggied edges, a helpful warning. -------- Pink Eye ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Elephant. Objective: Destroy all the white enemies! Variations: Level 1 - Single line of enemies. Level 2 - Two lines of enemies. Level 3 - Three lines of enemies. Strategy: Point at the enemies to take them down with the laser. They are destroyed on contact so just sweep the screen quickly to take them all down. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The higher the level, the more kids you rescue. ------------------ Geared For Landing ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control. Objective: Rotate the gears to open up the bridge for the plane! Variations: Level 1 - Single plane. Level 2 - Chance of a fake plane. Level 3 - Chance of a fake plane. Strategy: With the Wiimote, move it in a circle (still pointing toward the screen) clockwise to move it up and anticlockwise to move it down. When you see the plane, quickly move the bridge so it can get though. With levels 2 and 3 there is a chance of a fake plane which very quickly appears, and then backs out again so if you do see plane that quickly then wait for the other one to arrive before moving, otherwise you'll have more ground to cover. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------- This Bites! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Elephant Objective: Move out of the way of the insects, otherwise you'll be bitten! Variations: Level 1 - One insect. Level 2 - Two insects. Level 3 - Three insects. Strategy: Point the face from side to side across the pillow, as long as you don't stop the insects won't have a chance to land. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------- Suit of Armoire ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Find the item in the drawers! Variations: Level 1 - One item to choose from. Level 2 - Two items to choose from. Level 3 - Three items to choose from. Strategy: Items will appear above the drawers, however only one will actually enter. Pay attention and open that drawer. Stage 3 will also mix drawers up so pay attention as to where your item is. To open the draw, point the Wiimote at it and pull it back away from the screen. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Objects include knight's helmet, dress, diamond rings and (the Master?) Sword. ------------ All Wound Up ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Tug-Of-War Objective: Unwind the remotes out of the snakes grasp! Variations: Level 1 - One snake. Level 2 - Two snakes. Level 3 - An anti-cyclone. Strategy: Still pointing forward, rotate the Wiimote to unwind it from the snakes grasp. If you are rotating in the wrong direction then you will make it tighter so quickly do it the other day. For the third level, the anti-cyclone, spin it clockwise always. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------- The Outcast ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Spot the odd one out! Variations: Level 1 - Normal. Level 2 - Normal. Level 3 - Clouds, well, cloud your vision. Strategy: Using the pointer, check out the 9 objects on screen and spot the odd one out. It's not too hard to see from a few seconds glance, and when you have got it, point at it and press the A button. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Choices include Cowboys and Business men, Squares and Triangles, and your self-created Miis. ------------ Helping Hand ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Waiter. Objective: Catch all those who fall! Variations: Level 1 - One faller. Level 2 - Two fallers. Level 3 - Two fallers, different speeds. Strategy: Point underneath the falling person to catch them. Level 3 has two fallers however one will have an umbrella to slow their fall and the other won't, so spot them and get the latter first. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------- Sweeps Week ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Tug-Of-War Objective: Sweep the ice to get the curler to the target! Variations: Level 1 - Short distance. Level 2 - Medium distance. Level 3 - Long distance. Strategy: Just move the Wiimote closer and further away from the screen until the curler hits the target at the end. Nothing tough here. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The game is Curling, by the way. --------------- Spring Cleaning ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Tug-Of-War Objective: Clean up the mess with the vacuum cleaner! Variations: Level 1 - Small mess. Level 2 - Medium mess. Level 3 - Large mess. Strategy: Strange mix of using the pointer and moving the Wiimote here; point the Wiimote at the screen at all times and move the Wiimote back and forth to clean up the mess. Do simple clean sweeps to get all the rubbish. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The mess is in fact leaves and such, giving a double meaning to the game's name, Spring Cleaning. -------------- Volley, Y'All! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Tug-Of-War Objective: Hit the Volleyball back off the net. Variations: Level 1 - Long time to react. Level 2 - Short time to react. Level 3 - Little time to react. Strategy: Follow the ball's position and point across the screen to move the palms so it bounces off them and back over. As long as you connect with the ball, you pass. Later you have less time to react as the ball is placed to you quicker, just be sure to keep pointing at the screen and not move the remote around. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------- Clean Your Plate! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Waiter Objective: Clean the plate by washing the water over it! Variations: Level 1 - One spot of dirt to clean. Level 2 - Two spots of dirt to clean.. Level 3 - Three spots of dirt to clean.. Strategy: Tilting the plate makes the water wash down it in that direction, so if the dirt is on the left side, tilt it left. Later stages has more dirt in different places; aim in the centre of the dirt to get it cleaned quicker. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------- Smile And Nod ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Elephant Objective: If the question is correct, nod with the Wiimote! Variations: Level 1 - Different Question. Level 2 - Different Question. Level 3 - Trickier, Different Question. Strategy: Read the question carefully and if it's true, then nod, otherwise just stay still. Questions are about you and the date, for example 'Is NAME Male?', 'Is it 2PM'?, 'In 9 years, will it be 2032'? and so on. Due to that nature of the questions there are no definate answers, so just quickly work it out. You have some time to think about it, so do so. Obstacles: No. Other notes: This microgame is in the form of a quiz show, featuring your Mii. ----------------- Junk And My Trunk ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Elephant Objective: Place the apple to the basket! Variations: Level 1 - Place the apple into the basket. Level 2 - Pick and place the apple into the basket. Level 3 - Pick and give the apple to the lady. Strategy: Point toward the apple with the Wiimote pointer and move across the screen either to the basket or lady. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------------- BOSS STAGE: Block Party ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Waiter Objective: Land the blocks on the stage and keep them on there for three seconds! Variations: Level 1 - Four Blocks. Level 2 - Five Blocks. Level 3 - Six Blocks. Strategy: Move the Wiimote left and right as the blocks fall, and position them side by side or on top of one another. Make sure there are no gaps so they are stable, and look ahead to make sure you can safely accommodate the next piece. Easiest way to play is to make them all straight and flat, as levels 2 and 3 have triangular pieces that need putting on. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Named after the band 'Bloc Party', surely? There is also a Minigame based on this once you have done it in the Character Mode. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3.05. Ashley =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============== Poses Required ============== The Remote Control Just point the Wiimote toward the screen. Most of these games involve using the pointer, so ensure you aim the Wiimote at the screen before the game actually starts. Sounds stupid, but it's a common mistake. The Discard This is where you put the Wiimote down and pick it up at the right time. ========== Microgames ========== ---------------- Undercover Agent ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella / The Discard Objective: Open the Umbrella! Variations: Level 1 - Open the Umbrella. Level 2 - Open the Umbrella. Level 3 - Pick up and open the umbrella. Strategy: For the first two stages, all you have to do is press A when the gauge on the right is at it's highest point. For Level 3, you need to pick up the Wiimote to lift it up and then press A to open. Obstacles: None. Other notes: You are shielding against different things, like rain and riches! --------- Cold Call ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Discard Objective: Pick up and answer the phone! Variations: Level 1 - Pick up the phone. Level 2 - Pick up the phone. Level 3 - Pick up and answer the phone. Strategy: When the phone rings, just pick it up. For Level 3, as it's a cell phone, press A to answer the call once you've picked it up. Obstacles: None. Other notes: A voice will speak out of the Wiimote as if you were holding a phone, such as 'Hello, How are you?' or 'Sorry, wrong number'. How cool is that!? ---------------------- Spray It, Don't Say It ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Thumb Wrestler Objective: Shake the bottle and spray it at the crowd! Variations: Level 1 - One shake. Level 2 - Two shakes. Level 3 - Three shakes. Strategy: Shake it upright with your thumb over the sensor until the crowd appears, then point it at the screen and remove the thumb to spray it. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Pretty cool, huh? ----------- Wiggle Room ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Big Cheese Objective: Spin the hoop around you! Variations: Level 1 - Standard hoop. Level 2 - Giant donut. Level 3 - Rubber tire. Strategy: Put it to your side and rotate your hips with the remote doing the same action. Alternatively you can just hold the Wiimote in front of you and perform the same action to easily pass. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. -------------- Carving Artist ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Thumb Wrestler Objective: Chisel away at the material! Variations: Level 1 - Chisel away at wood. Level 2 - Chisel away at ice. Level 3 - Chisel away at rock. Strategy: Shake the Wiimote up and down to Chisel away at the material, and keep going until a structure is formed. The faster you do it the quicker you go, which is handy for the later levels. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Objects formed include a bunny and a face. ------------ Sticky Shift ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Thumb Wrestler Objective: Change gear with the stick! Variations: Level 1 - Two shifts. Level 2 - Three shifts. Level 3 - Four shifts. Strategy: Holding the Wiimote upright and facing you, make the requirements to change gear. Make them short and sharp so they register. If it doesn't pick it up, stop and move again. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------ Bone Appetit ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Discard Objective: When the dog is looking away, steal his bone! Variations: Level 1 - Slow rotation. Level 2 - Faster rotation. Level 3 - Two dogs. Strategy: Have your hand on the Wiimote and when the dog is facing the other way pick it up quickly to steal the bone. When two dogs, wait until both have more or less looked away (they are slightly out of sinc) and grab the bone. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------- You're Fired! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Light the cannon fuses! Variations: Level 1 - One cannon. Level 2 - One cannon and water. Level 3 - Two cannons and water. Strategy: The pointer controls the stick, so put it in the fire to light it and move it at the end of the fuse of the cannon to light it. Avoid the water otherwise you'll have to quickly light it again, and once it's lit you can light the two fuses with it. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------ In the Cards ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Discard Objective: Pick up the correct card! Variations: Level 1 - Three cards. Level 2 - Three cards, one swap. Level 3 - Four cards, several swaps. Strategy: Pay attention to the nominated card and wait for it to appear in the centre and quickly pick up the remote. Later stages it gets a bit more confusing so just pay attention and ensure you pick up the Wiimote quickly when the card is up. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------------------- How the West Was Really Won ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Big Cheese Objective: Draw your gun and fire when you hear 'DRAW!' Variations: Level 1 - Slow reaction. Level 2 - Quicker reaction. Level 3 - Fast reaction. Strategy: You can cheat here, by drawing before he says DRAW! (just flick up the Wiimote) and firing only when he says DRAW! as the game doesn't stop you from doing so. Press A or B to shoot. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The enemy hats get bigger each level. ---------------- Shady Characters ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Investigate the shaded object and choose the correct one! Variations: Level 1 - Three objects to choose from. Level 2 - Three similar objects to choose from. Level 3 - Six objects to choose from. Strategy: Rotate the Wiimote around in your hands to rotate the object so you can investigate it's shape, and remember any distinguishing characteristics. You have a few seconds to do this before making a choice. The last stage has you choosing from six items, so be sure. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------- Skip It ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Big Cheese Objective: Skip over the rope! Variations: Level 1 - One jump. Level 2 - Two jumps. Level 3 - Three jumps. Strategy: Either hold it to your side and jump, or easier still just flick the Wiimote up instead. Time to jump as it approaches your feet so you don't go too early, and remember that later stages the rope rotates faster so keep a good rhythm. Obstacles: None. Other notes: A girl, hippo and strange star two legged creature skip the ropes. ---------------- Shoot The Breeze ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Shoot the cans off the shelves! Variations: Level 1 - Two cans. Level 2 - Three cans. Level 3 - A toy robot. Strategy: Pointing the crosshair with the Wiimote pointer and shooting with either A or B, aim and shoot all the cans off the shelves. You aren't penalised for missing so feel free to be trigger happy. For Level 3, just shoot the robot in the torso until it falls back off the shelf. Obstacles: None. Other notes: There is a minigame based on this. If you like this, there is also a similar shooting game on the Wii Play package. I don't work for Nintendo, I'm just saying. >_> -------- Cheater! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Discard Objective: Turn the die over to get the required throw. Variations: Level 1 - Standard time. Level 2 - Less time. Level 3 - Least time. Strategy: You are given a score to get with the die, so turn the Wiimote in the required direction to flip the Wiimote over to get it. Each die is random, so just keep flipping until you find the score. Remember that the opposing sides of a die always equal 7, so you can use that to help you get your score. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------- Marching Orders ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Big Cheese Objective: Swing your arms and march along with the others! Variations: Level 1 - One stop. Level 2 - Two stops. Level 3 - Two stops, slightly faster pace. Strategy: Swing your arm to move the character, and stop to well, stop. Try and remain in the middle of the group to avoid collision (which will fail you). You can move when you need to stop if you want to get more centralised. If you don't fancy moving your arm then just swing the Wiimote in front of you. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. -------------- Flask Me Later ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Thumb Wrestler Objective: Shake the solution! Variations: Level 1 - Test Tube. Level 2 - Small Bottle. Level 3 - Large Bottle. Strategy: With the Wiimote upright, just shake it from side to side to mix the solution until it turns a completely different colour. You don't need your thumb on top of the Wiimote, despite the pose. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------ All Shook Up ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Open all the bottles! Variations: Level 1 - One bottle. Level 2 - Two bottles. Level 3 - Three bottles. Strategy: Using the pointer to control a bottle opener, point at each bottle lid until it locks on and raise the Wiimote vertically up to pop off the lid. Do it with the rest. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The bottles spirt water when opened, bar the third bottle on level 3 which releases confetti! -------- Pool Boy ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Pot at least one ball! Variations: Level 1 - One ball on the table. Level 2 - Two balls on the table. Level 3 - Several balls on the table. Strategy: Just thrust the Wiimote forward to hit the cue into the white ball, to send it into the ball. All of them start off exactly as they should be so unless you move it just jerk it onward. Later levels have you hitting the balls together to make a chain reaction to get one in, so add a bit of welly to see that end ball potted. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------- Secret Ingredient ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Thumb Wrestler Objective: Grate the items! Variations: Level 1 - Small object. Level 2 - Larger object. Level 3 - Big object. Strategy: Just move the Wiimote from side to side to grate the item. Make sure you do it quicker for the larger items in later levels. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Objects include alarm clocks, miniature fridges and Planet Earth. ---------- Ringmaster ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Shake the bells in time! Variations: Level 1 - One shake. Level 2 - Two shakes. Level 3 - Four rapid shakes. Strategy: Starting at the far end, the hands will shake the bells in time. Wait until it's your turn and shake (either hit your wrist with your other hand as shown or shake it with your hand) the required amount of times. Timing is very important here. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------------------------- BOSS STAGE: Fresh Off The Grill ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Discard Objective: Take away your burger when it's done! Variations: Level 1 - Small burger. Level 2 - Larger burger, thrown ingredients. Level 3 - Very tall burger, thrown ingredients and people distracting. Strategy: Just observe the burger until the bun appears and lift up the Wiimote to take it away. It's pretty easy. However later levels have distractions such as items being thrown across and people walking past, but just concentrate on that bun appearing and quickly grab it. Also watch out for the thin orange segments that are coloured like buns, look out for that distinctive shape. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Various ingredients include Front, Wiimotes and whole fishes. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3.06. Dribble & Spitz =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============== Poses Required ============== The Remote Control Just point the Wiimote toward the screen. Most of these games involve using the pointer, so ensure you aim the Wiimote at the screen before the game actually starts. Sounds stupid, but it's a common mistake. ========== Microgames ========== ------------ Diddly Squat ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mohawk Objective: Squat the required amount of times! Variations: Level 1 - Perform one squat. Level 2 - Perform two squats. Level 3 - Perform three squats. Strategy: With the Wiimote on your head, squat down and up for one squat. Alternatively just hold the Wiimote in front of you and lower it up and down, which does the job just as nicely. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different people squat on each level, including an old man for level 3. ---------- Up In Arms ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Dumbbell Objective: Lift the dumbbell the required amount of times. Variations: Level 1 - One lift. Level 2 - Two lifts. Level 3 - Three lifts. Strategy: Make a quick and sharp lift so the Wiimote faces you and down again. Later levels require more lifts. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The finishing screen is always the same for all three, whereas most other microgames have slightly different ones. Hmm. ----------- Clean Sweep ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Janitor Objective: Sweep away the leaves! Variations: Level 1 - Small amount of leaves. Level 2 - Lots of leaves. Level 3 - Lots of leaves, with more falling. Strategy: Sweep the Wiimote side to side to clear away the leaves. Just keep doing this until all the leaves are gone; when it comes to level 3 more leaves fall as you go so just keep it up until the end. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The second level person is really a witch, and the third level sweeper gets taken out by a hawk at the end. Haha. -------------- Eating For Two ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Bounce the food off the pan and into the mouth! Variations: Level 1 - Large open mouth. Level 2 - Smaller mouth. Level 3 - Smallest mouth. Strategy: Point the pan at the far side of the screen and tilt it slightly so any food that bounces off will go into the mouth opposite. Later stages you might have to tweek positioning in order to get it in. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ---------- The Closer ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Dumbbell Objective: Throw a strike! Variations: Level 1 - Glove stationary. Level 2 - Glove moves side to side. Level 3 - Gloves moves round in a circle. Strategy: Move the remote sideways toward the screen to throw the ball. The later stages have you timing it so when the glove is in the box you can then throw. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. -------------------- Stick It To The Man! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Janitor Objective: Whack the people with the stick! Variations: Level 1 - Whack the man facing away. Level 2 - Whack the theif! Level 3 - Whack the three thieves! Strategy: With the Wiimote upright, jerk it forward to whack. The first level is easy however the second and third require timing. Wait until they appear and QUICKLY whack to get them. Level 3 is tough as after the first two thieves is a very quick old man so get poised to whack him. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------- When In Rome... ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella / The Mohawk Objective: Avoid touching the other objects by tilting! Variations: Level 1 - Avoid the canes. Level 2 - Avoid the dogs. Level 3 - Avoid the genies. Strategy: The first two stages using the Umbrella have you tilting to the side to avoid touching the others. Do this in time yet gradually. The third level has you doing the Mohawk pose making things harder, although you can hold it in front of you like The Sketch Artist to make it easier and ensure you keep in line, nothing else really changes in this third one. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ---------------- Talk To The Can! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Spray the pests! Variations: Level 1 - Spray the flies! Level 2 - Spray the cockroaches! Level 3 - Spray the bear! Strategy: Point at the screen to control the can and press either A or B to spray. Point at the flies and sweep across to get them, where as for level 2 the cockroaches take a little while longer to kill (but there are only three of them). The final level has you taking down a bear so aim for the eyes and keep up with his movements until he drops off the screen. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ---------------- Cut To The Chase ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Cut the nails! Variations: Level 1 - Cut one nail. Level 2 - Cut two nails. Level 3 - Cut three nails. Strategy: Point the Wiimote at the screen to control the clippers and they will lock onto the long nails if you point close enough, and just press either A or B to clip. Do the same with the rest to finish. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The third stage is toe nails, yuk. ---------------- Catch Of The Day ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Dumbbell Objective: Catch the food under the tray! Variations: Level 1 - One cow. Level 2 - One fish. Level 3 - Three small creatures. Strategy: Have the Wiimote upright and to the side (so from the Dumbbell turn it upright) so you are ready, and when the food gets the plate jam it down firmly. For the second level the fish will come back and forth so make sure you get it right, and for the third level wait until all three of the creatures are fully on before you close the lid on them. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The cow transforms into a steak, with his angelic approval. ------------ Bell Captain ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Jantior. Objective: Hit the bell! Variations: Level 1 - Bell is stationary. Level 2 - Bell moves from side to side. Level 3 - Bell falls down. Strategy: From the upright position, hit it forward to strike the bell. Timing is required for the second and third stages, especially for stage three as if you miss, you fail. Obstacles: None. Other notes: After the bell in level three falls, there is a minature one still at the top of the screen for some reason. ------------- Rally And Cry ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Dumbbell Objective: Return the ping pong balls! Variations: Level 1 - One Return Level 2 - Two Returns Level 3 - Two Balls Strategy: Swing the Wiimote across to swing the racket. As long as you hit it that's all you need. The second and third stages are pretty much the same, level two is just the same ball returned twice and the third stage are two balls returned once each. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------- Soiled Reputation ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Janitor Objective: Hoe the land! Variations: Level 1 - Hoe the soil once. Level 2 - Hoe the soil twice. Level 3 - Hoe the soil thrice. Strategy: From the upright position, point the Wiimote fully forward pointing at the screen to hoe it once. Doing this as many times as required. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Different things appear upon completion, such as a swarm of butterflies and a tree. ------------- Use Your Head ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Janitor Objective: Header the football into the goal! Variations: Level 1 - Straight cross. Level 2 - Spikeball crosses same path. Level 3 - Deflected off a defender. Strategy: Either with the Wiimote above your head or in front of you, jilt it upward at the right time to header the ball (not toward the screen, but vertically up). For the second stage wait until the spikeball has passed before heading, and for the third stage the ball will hit a defender on the way which will speed it up toward the end. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Sometimes the keeper will save the ball, which doesn't impact the outcome of you passing this microgame or not. ------------------ Unintelligent Life ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Abduct the objects! Variations: Level 1 - One object to abduct. Level 2 - Two objects to abduct. Level 3 - Two objects to abduct, one moving. Strategy: Move the Remote closer and further away from the screen to position the UFO over the objects. You need to have it dead centre underneath you for it to be taken away. The third stage has Fronk moving around on the ground, try and block him off by getting in front of him to abduct the little bugger. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Objects include TVs and cardboard boxes. --------------- Spring Training ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mohawk Objective: Dodge the fireballs! Variations: Level 1 - One fireball. Level 2 - Two fireballs. Level 3 - Three fireballs. Strategy: Tilt the Wiimote to the sides to dodge the fireballs. It's a lot easier to concentrate on their shadows for their positions otherwise it's hard to tell where they are further up the screen. This is handy for the first one, when they are quite close together. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Your Mii's head is on top of the spring. ------------ Femme Brulee ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Umbrella Objective: Adjust the umbrella to save the people from burning in the sun! Variations: Level 1 - Shimming sunbather. Level 2 - Rolling sunbather. Level 3 - Mole sunbather. Strategy: Tilt the Wiimote's tip to the sides to shade the people in the sand. The shimmier and the roller operate around the umbrella and are easy enough to get, where as the mole (level three) appears and disappears around it, so quickly adjust when he appears. If they stay in the sun too long and burn you fail! Obstacles: None. Other notes: Couldn't they just wear sunblock? ---------------- Sprinkler System ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Use the spoon and get the powder into the container! Variations: Level 1 - Cup of Tea. Level 2 - Fish Bowl. Level 3 - Bottle. Strategy: Using the Wiimote to control the spoon point it left and right into the path of the powder falling down. When you have some in the tip move it above the container and tilt it to drop it in. The latter two stages are containers that are thinner, so place it right before tilting. You just need one drop of the powder in order to pass. Obstacles: None. Other notes: We can only assume the first is sugar, the second fish food, but what of the third? Arsenic? ------------------ Stick A Fork In It ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mohawk Objective: Stab the food with the fork! Variations: Level 1 - Table moves slowly. Level 2 - Table moves quickly. Level 3 - Table moves very quickly. Strategy: Stab the Wiimote down from straight on to horizontal (facing the screen) to stab the fork into the food. The table moves, but it will stop at around the food. This includes level three, although it will stop just before the food, but when it moves again it will be slow at the point when the food passes so you can easily get it in time. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Food includes steak, cake and iced buns. ------------------- Armed And Dangerous ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Dumbbell Objective: When the arm wrestling match! Variations: Level 1 - Slight struggle. Level 2 - More struggle. Level 3 - Plenty of struggle. Strategy: Move the Wiimote across to the side to pull the hands across. Put it down to the far side and if you haven't won, keep putting it back and forth quickly until you do win. On the later levels, the opponent will put up a bit more of a fight. Obstacles: None. Other notes: You play as your Mii, with your other self created Mii's as your opponents! --------------------- BOSS STAGE: Boot Camp ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mohawk / The Elephant Objective: Complete the assault course and defeat the enemy! Variations and Strategy: Level 1 - Short Assault Course, offenseless boss. Level 2 - Long Assault Course, offensive boss. Level 3 - Long Assault Course, offensive and closer boss. Strategy - For the Assault Course, you have to either dodge or jump the wooden frames. When there is just the frame then jolt down to duck or if it's solid then you have to jolt up to jump. Note if it's several slats tall then jump earlier to clear it in time. On the second and third levels you'll have to do an additional section from the side, although the controls will remain the same. For the Boss, you have to shoot at the nostrils. The first level will shoot no projectiles, where as the second and third levels will out of the nostrils. Keep firing toward them and any that get close enough to you then fire at them to save your bacon. Level three's boss will get close to you so you need to have faster reactions. Keep on aiming at the nostrils until the nose is destroyed. Obstacles: Wooden Slats, Projectiles. Other notes: This game continues the series' strange fascination with the nose. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3.07. Penny =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============== Poses Required ============== The Remote Control Just point the Wiimote toward the screen. Most of these games involve using the pointer, so ensure you aim the Wiimote at the screen before the game actually starts. Sounds stupid, but it's a common mistake. ========== Microgames ========== -------------- Boarder Patrol ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Finger Food Objective: Unlock the door with the key! Variations: Level 1 - Turn the key 90 degrees. Level 2 - Turn the key 180 degrees. Level 3 - Turn the key 270 degrees. Strategy: Roll the Wiimote around until the door is unlocked. For the later stages hold it in two hands so you can keep rotating it until the microgame has passed. Obstacles: None. Other notes: People such as a gymnast, old thief and Hawaiian lady are behind the door. ------------- Slice Of Life ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Boxer Objective: Rotate the manual shredder to shred the documents! Variations: Level 1 - Shred the paper. Level 2 - Shred the pasta sheet. Level 3 - Shred the block of ice. Strategy: Facing the Wiimote left, rotate the Wiimote around toward and away from you to operate the shredder and keep going until it's all shredded up. The later stages have you shredding larger objects but just keep it up until it's done. Obstacles: None. Other notes: A goat eats the paper, the pasta turns into spag bol and the block of ice turns into some sort of fishy meal. ------------- Mixed Signals ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mortar and Pestle Objective: Move the arial to tune in the TV signal! Variations: Level 1 - Least adjustment. Level 2 - Some adjustment. Level 3 - Most adjustment. Strategy: Move it quickly to see if it clears, then fiddle around that area until it fully clears up. The later stages require you to be most accurate, so find the area quickly so you can have more time to fine turn the signal. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The images awaken or change once you get the signal, such as the level two bird coming out of the screen. ------------- Yes, You Can! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mortar and Pestle Objective: Open the can with the opener! Variations: Level 1 - Nearly open already. Level 2 - Quarter open already. Level 3 - Half open already. Strategy: Yank the Wiimote toward you at a 45 degree angle and back again to start opening the can. Later stages require you to do this several times so just keep going. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Various paper objects fly out after completing it. ---------- The Intern ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mortar and Pestle Objective: Tidy up the stack of papers! Variations: Level 1 - A few sheets of paper. Level 2 - A few books. Level 3 - Half a shelf of books. Strategy: Holding it vertical, bang the Wiimote up and down very straight into your hand until it's properly straight will do it. If you shake it too much you'll just make it more messy, so be firm and very straight with it. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ---------- Stir Crazy ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mortar and Pestle Objective: Stir the solutions! Variations: Level 1 - Grind the herbs! Level 2 - Whip the topping! Level 3 - Stir the solution! Strategy: Just move the Wiimote around in a large circle quickly to stir the solutions. Later levels have larger containers so you have to be faster to complete them in time. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ----------------- Community Service ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Boxer Objective: Clean up the objects! Variations: Level 1 - Clean the Cow. Level 2 - Clean the Car. Level 3 - Clean the Spaceship. Strategy: Move the Wiimote up and down quickly to scrub away. It's not 1:1 movement so just shaking up and down is required. More is obviously required for the later levels. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ---------- Local News ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Interview by keeping the microphone by their mouth! Variations: Level 1 - Interviewing a baseball player. Level 2 - Interviewing a polar bear. Level 3 - Interviewing an old lady. Strategy: Keep pointing the microphone at their mouths until they finish talking. When the text gets smaller you are getting further away so readjust. The polar bear will turn his head to the left side when talking so watch out for that, and keep up with the old ladies movements. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The baseball player will sometimes dedicate his homerun to you. :) The old ladies comment is also perhaps the funniest in the game, I won't spoil it but it's priceless! ---------------- Get To The Point ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Finger Food Objective: Sharpen the pencils! Variations: Level 1 - Manual Handheld Sharpener Level 2 - Manual Machine Sharpener Level 3 - Electric Sharpener Strategy: For level 1, use the Finger Food position and spin the Wiimote around to sharpen. For level 2, face the Wiimote toward the screen and rotate it around in circles to use the lever. For level 3, push the Wiimote toward the screen to insert it into the electric sharpener. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. -------------- Mercury Rising ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Boxer Objective: Shake the thermometer until the reading reaches zero! Variations: Level 1 - Low temperature. Level 2 - Medium starting temperature. Level 3 - High starting temperature. Strategy: Shake the Wiimote to lower the temperature of the therometer. Just keep shaking really hard for a few seconds and hold it still to read it and if it hasn't gone down by then, shake and read again. You need to finish by reading it, so regardless of how much you done always read it by when the time runs down. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The bed ridden bloke will have one, two or three thermometers in his mouth according to the level. ---- XYZ! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control / The Finger Food Objective: Zip up! Variations: Level 1 - Vertical zip. Level 2 - Horizontal zip. Level 3 - Zig Zag Zip. Strategy: Use the pointer to grab the zip and move across the screen to complete it. Level 2 has you doing the Finger Food pose in order to do it (otherwise it won't grab on) and level 3 has a zig zag zip, where it's easy to let go when turning so take your time. Obstacles: None. Other notes: You zip up a man in a panda suit, a boy's mouth and a scar on Frankenstein's head. -------- Spot On! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Hit the nail with the hammer! Variations: Level 1 - Small nail. Level 2 - Medium sized nail. Level 3 - Large nail. Strategy: Raise and lower the Wiimote to hammer the nail into the wood. You can get it done faster if you do it as straight as possible. If you do it with small movements you can do it amazingly quick too. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------- Airhead ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Defend your goal against the pucks! Variations: Level 1 - Defend against one puck. Level 2 - Defend against two pucks. Level 3 - Score a goal. Strategy: Using the Wiimote pointer, bat away the oncoming pucks. However hit them away gently otherwise they will just rebound back at you really quickly and make your job harder. The third level has you scoring a goal with the puck, which isn't too tricky, just whack it hard so if you do miss you can have another shot or two on the rebound. Just don't score an own goal. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------ Cranky Robot ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Finger Food Objective: Wind up the robot to power it up! Variations: Level 1 - One rotation. Level 2 - Two rotations. Level 3 - Three rotations. Strategy: From facing left, spin the Wiimote round so faces right for one rotation and quickly back again. Use two hands here so you can do this quick enough to get all the rotations done in time. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------- Sure, You Can ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Boxer Objective: Hit the ninja with your shuriken! Variations: Level 1 - Slow moving ninja. Level 2 - Quick moving ninja. Level 3 - Fast moving ninja. Strategy: Move the Wiimote toward the screen to throw a shuriken down the middle of the trees. The ninja will jump from tree to tree getting closer, around every half a second (level three is around quarter of a second) so when he lands on a tree, throw one and you should hit him when he next comes out. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The 'ninjas' are more bankers than anything. The title is also a play on the word Shuriken. ----------------- Burning Sensation ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control Objective: Burn the germs with the magnifying glass! Variations: Level 1 - One germ. Level 2 - Two germs. Level 3 - Two germs on the wall. Strategy: Controlling the magnifying glass with the pointer, hold it above the germs so that the rays meet at where the germ is for the most powerful and quickest burn. You can also tilt the Wiimote to tilt the glass which is required for level three when the two germs are on the wall. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------------- Now You're Cooking! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Finger Food Objective: Turn on the cooker! Variations: Level 1 - One turn to light the cooker. Level 2 - Two turns to light the cooker. Level 3 - Three turns to light the cooker. Strategy: With the Wiimote pointing toward the screen and facing left, rotate it anticlockwise 45 degrees to turn the gas nob. As it's an old cooker it requires multiple turns for it to actually work, so keep turning back and forth until it comes on. Later levels require more turns. Obstacles: None. Other notes: Turning it on burns different things held above the cooker. ---------- Hit Parade ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mortar and Pestle Objective: Hit the enemies with the hammer! Variations: Level 1 - One enemy. Level 2 - Two enemies. Level 3 - Three enemies. Strategy: With the Wiimote upright, you hit to down to the left right or toward you to hit the hammer over the holes. When the enemies appear whack them to take them down. The enemies increase for each level. Remember that one hole will only have one enemy so on level three once you have taken out two enemies, the other hole must have that last enemy. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The Moles from Super Mario World pop out and give you a thumbs up for completing this microgame. --------- Litterbot ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Mortar and Pestle Objective: Collect all the waste barrels! Variations: Level 1 - Three stationary barrels to collect. Level 2 - Two stationary and one moving barrel to collect. Level 3 - Two stationary and one moving barrel to collect, plus a van. Variations: Level 1 - Banana Bandit (with help arrows) Level 2 - Strawberry Bandit Level 3 - Blueberry Bandit Strategy: Hold the Wiimote upright yet facing left to hold the sword up. In first person you must defend against the on coming attacks and then strike when the time is right. Just tilt the controller to the sides to move the sword, as the enemy will come from either the left right or centre. Whatever position of the screen they are in is the position there attack will be, so just move your sword there in preperation. Later levels won't have help arrows and you'll need fast reactions. Eventually the swords will clash and you'll be told to Push! to push toward the screen to knock them back and slash vertically at the screen to end the battle. Obstacles: None. Other notes: I think the third one is the blueberry bandit, couldn't quite make out what fruit it was. One of the funniest boss battles. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3.08. 9 Volt =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= ============== Poses Required ============== This character uses all 19 of the main poses! ========== Microgames ========== ----------------- Wiipeat After Me! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Remote Control / The Umbrella Objective: Copy the Wiimote positions shown on screen. Level three has you controlling normal 'small' Mario, plus you have to dodge Goombas and pits. Obstacles: Goombas and Pits (Level Three Only). Other notes: From Super Mario Bros. (1987, NES) ------------ Light Tennis ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Finger Food Objective: Don't concede a goal! Variations: Level 1 - Small goals. Level 2 - Screen wide goals. Level 3 - Wall in the centre. Strategy: With the Wiimote sideways pointing at the screen, turn it like a nob to make the bat go up and down the screen. Make sure you hit the ball otherwise you'll conceed a goal. For level two the goal is screen wide and for level three there is a gappy wall in the centre which can make the ball come back to you, so stay on your toes. Obstacles: None. Variations: Level 1 - Sparkballs as obstacles. Level 2 - Sparkballs and fish as obstacles. Level 3 - Sparkballs, fish and other Balloon Fighters as obstacles. Strategy: Flap your arm (or just wave the Wiimote up and down) to fly onward. The position of the obstacles are random, especially the sparkballs so if you are flying around them try and fly above in later stages to avoid the fish, and in level three with the other Balloon Fighter avoid touching him apart from his balloon, which you can pop if you wish. Obstacles: Sparkballs (all levels), fish (levels 2 and 3) and Fighters (lvl 3). Other notes: From Balloon Fight (NES, 1987) --------------- Metroid Prime 2 ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Waiter Objective: Roll Samus in to the barrel! Variations: Level 1 - Barrel positioned directly in front. Level 2 - Barrel positioned somewhere in front. Level 3 - Barrel positioned behind the blip. Strategy: Tilt your hand forward to roll Samus in that direction toward the barrel. In the second and third stages you'll have to go to the sides as well. You need a bit of speed in order to knock it over, so get a decentish run up as well. Obstacles: None. Level 2 - Wind is going across you. Level 3 - Wind is going more across you, two platforms to choose from. Strategy: Point toward where you want to land. Strategy: Point in the direction you wish to go, and just walk around the oncoming enemies whilst keeping an eye out for the purple swirls on the ground (black holes). Strategy: To play, hold the Wiimote with the pointer facing left and tilt it from side to side to move left and right, and up and down to more up and down (simple eh?) as well as either A or B to shoot. Level One has you going through the opening planet of Starwing, Corneria, so just dodge the buildings and keep shooting to take down enemies (just so they are out of the way but just aim to get to the end of the stage). The boss is none other than R.O.B with a NES Zapper! Wait until he stops shooting and shoot at the green block to his side until he is destroyed. Level Two is in outer space, where you must dodge plenty of crosses and lines in order to reach the boss. Stick to one of the extreme sides of corners is easiest as there is minimal obstacles but you still need to move now and again, and only go after enemies if they are in your way. The boss is R.O.B again with this time with a red and green block; just take your time and stay low to avoid his shots. The blocks will turn grey after a while where you cannot shoot them so just wait until they are flashing colours again before having another pop. Level Three is at an ice planet, where you have giant ice blocks in your path. Stay at the top of the screen as they thin out toward the top and make it easier to get through. The enemies are a bit tougher too, with flyers appearing in the passages and tall walkers in the way (you can shoot the flashing diamond several times to kill them but it's far easier just to ignore). After a long ish stage, R.O.B comes back one last time with four blocks (yellow and blue at the back now) so dodge his shots until they become active (stay low) and then let rip. Obstacles: Enemies, buildings and blocks. Other notes: From Starwing (SNES, 1993). Note this is called Starwing in the UK due to copyright reasons, so in the US and Japanese versions this is probably called Star Fox. =-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-= 3.09. Other notes: None. --------------- Three's A Crowd ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Samurai Objective: Slash away the ninja when he appears! Variations: Level 1 - Ninja drops in. Level 2 - Ninja fakes then drops in. Level 3 - Servant distracts you, or is the ninja. Strategy: When the ninja appears, slash the Wiimote across the screen to take him down. Variations: Level 1 - Thin Wario. Level 2 - Fat Wario. Level 3 - Obese Wario. Strategy: Point the Wiimote at the screen to control the stethoscope, and Wario will nod more the closer you get to the injury. Other notes: None. ----------- Paper Wario ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Waiter Objective: Tap the box to defeat your paper opponent! Variations: Level 1 - A few taps to defeat the opponent. Level 2 - More taps to defeat the opponent. Level 3 - Plenty of taps to defeat the opponent. If you take a break your opponent will knock you over to just keep going at it. Obstacles: None. Other notes: You play in different arenas each level. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------------- Starved For Attention ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner A Objective: Wave down the boat to get rescued! Variations: Level 1 - Cat, less waving. Level 2 - Panda, more waving. Level 3 - Space Panda, a whole lotta waving. Strategy: Just wave the controls out and in again quickly and far apart until the ship notices you and picks you up. You need to be quick on level 3 to get the spaceship to pick you up. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------- Clock-Watcher ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner A Objective: Match the hands of the clock! Variations: Level 1 - Slight adjustment. Level 2 - More adjustment. Level 3 - Digital Reading. Strategy: With the nunchuk being the hour hand and the Wiimote the minute hand replicate the time shown. The first two levels are quite easy as you can just follow the positions and watch them with your hands. The third level has no diagram but just a digital reading, so do the hour first and hold it steady, then do the minute hand to pass. Obstacles: None. Other notes: A rabbit, chicken and robber appears upon completing each level respectively. ----------- Bear Handed ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner B Objective: Juggle! Variations: Level 1 - One throw. Level 2 - Two throws. Level 3 - Three throws. Strategy: Tilt up the controller when the item comes toward the hand to throw it across to the other. Later levels have more throws so pay attention. Also it's not hand for hand but think of it as a mirror image, so you right his left, but you are mirrored. Obstacles: None. Other notes: The third level has you juggling a fish! You can also throw it more than required but you only need to do it one, two or three times to pass (as the fish won't leave the screen in time for you to fail). ------- Tog Dog ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner C Objective: Swim to rescue the child! Variations: Level 1 - Rescue the child. Level 2 - Win the face. Level 3 - Rescue the box of space puppies. Strategy: With the nunchuk and Wiimote facing one another, rotate them round to make the dog swim. For Level 1, swim to the top of the screen and get the child; if he moves wait a second for him to go back to the centre and try again. For level 2 just swim away as fast as you can and for level 3 wait for the laser to have a break before heading off and rescuing the box of puppies. Obstacles: Laser (Level 3). Other notes: None. -------------- Finishing Move ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner A Objective: Copy the hand positions! Variations: Level 1 - One position per controller Level 2 - Change Wiimote position Level 3 - Change Wiimote and nunchuk positions Strategy: Copy the positions shown on screen. For Level one, just cross your arms with the controller facing up. Level two has them flat and together facing you (except the Wiimote is facing up, but then you change it to facing you) and the third level has you changing both positions twice. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ------------------ Look, Ma! No Feet! ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner C Objective: Pedal the bike and ride it to the finish! Variations: Level 1 - Linear course. Level 2 - One corner in the course. Level 3 - Two corners in the course. Strategy: With the controllers facing one another, rotate them round to start peddling the bike down the course where you are asked to then ride it to the finish. Line them up and keep it steady to pass. For the second and third levels you can turn round corners by tilting side to side like you would on a bike, just ensure you don't hit the sides otherwise you'll fail. Keep on the inside of the corner as the corners get slightly sharper on their exits. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. ---------------- Stroke Of Genius ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner C Objective: Row your way to the island! Variations: Level 1 - Island straight down. Level 2 - Island slightly to the side. Level 3 - Island out of the way. Strategy: With the controllers facing in on one another, fan them to start rowing. For the second and third levels where you have to go out of the way, just row one to turn the boat (row the opposite paddle to turn in the direction you want) and make the island. Obstacles: None. Other notes: You get RICHES for getting to the island! Huzzah. --------------- Coming Unhinged ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner C Objective: Open the box! Variations: Level 1 - Open the box hinges. Level 2 - Trap the firefly. Level 3 - Operate the bridge to let the horse and boat pass. Strategy: With the controllers facing one another, put them to vertical positions to open the hinges. For level one, just open the door for the jack in the box. For level two, open the lantern and wait for the firefly to drift in and close it again. For level 3, keep the bridge down so the horse and cart can pass then raise both ends to let the boat pass. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. --------------- Monkey Crossing ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner C Objective: Swing across the trees to dry land! Variations: Level 1 - Two trees to swing across. Level 2 - Three trees to swing across. Level 3 - Four trees to swing across. Strategy: With the controllers facing one another, flick them out toward the TV screen to swing the arm. Alternate between them to swing across the trees to the island. Later levels have more trees to swing across. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. -------------------- BOSS STAGE: Boom Box ----------------------------------------- Pose: The Diner A Objective: Beat the boxer at his own game! Variations: Level 1 - Lazy opponent. Level 2 - Fair opponent. Level 3 - Very offensive opponent. Strategy: Keep you controllers raised at all times until one of the boxer's arms drops and punch at that side to open him up, and punch away until his guard is raised again. Keep doing his until he's finished. The only difference with the later boxers is that they attack more, so just keep your guard and when they rest or power up a shot (put their wrist back) quickly punch. You just need to be patient here. Obstacles: None. Other notes: None. =============================================================================== ----------------- 4. MINIGAMES ----------------- =============================================================================== There are a total of six minigames to unlock as you play through the Single Player mode. Here is how to get them all, and a description and guide through each one - Tower Tennis - Complete Kat & Ana's Microgames Block Star - Complete Young Cricket's Microgames Can Shooter - Complete Ashley's Microgames Tortoise & Hare - Complete Orbulon's Microgames Balloon Trip - Complete Dr Crygor's workout stage Pyoro S - Play every microgame from every character ------------ Tower Tennis ----------------------------------------- Advised Pose - Remote Control / Sketch Artist Objective - Bounce the ball up the tower! Strategy - Keep bouncing the wall with the bat, holding it as straight as possible to go up. Blocks will get in the way, with grey blocks destroyed in one hit of the ball, beige two hits and orange three hits. You need to accommodate room for the bat as well so if two blocks are next to one another then destroy them both so you can get through. Tilting the bat will bounce it to the side if you need to. Later, enemies will appear in the background which must be avoided. ---------- Block Star ----------------------------------------- Advised Pose - The Waiter Objective - Stack the blocks and hold them for 3 seconds to clear the stage! Strategy - Hold the Wiimote flat and facing the screen (The Remote Control is easiest) and move the Wiimote left and right as the blocks fall, and position them side by side or on top of one another. Make sure there are no gaps so they are stable, and look ahead to make sure you can safely accommodate the next piece. Easiest way to play is to make them all straight and flat. Stage descriptions coming in the next version! ----------- Can Shooter ----------------------------------------- Advised Pose - The Remote Control Objective - Shoot the cans and stay alive! A or B to shoot. Strategy - Shoot the cans and projectiles to earn points, and hitting them in the centre will net you more points (100 compared to 10). Missiles and dynamite will be thrown at you which if you don't get in time take you out and it's game over, so get them quickly (you also get more points for getting them early). There are also powerups - Heart Cans which add between 5 and 8 seconds (again, depending how early) and the Crosshair Can which makes your Cross Heir large, targeting several things at a time and for the best accuracy - so if you target three cans you get 300 points as it counts as hitting the centre. The final powerup is the Slow Mo Can which slows down the action for a short amount of time. Other Notes - The backgrounds change every few thousand points. --------------- Tortoise & Hare ----------------------------------------- Advised Pose - The Diner A. Objective - Follow the Commands as long as possible! Connect the Nunchuk. Strategy - Hold the controllers out to the sides and follow the flag commands such as White Up (raise the Nunchuk) and Red Not Down (don't move that Wiimote!). If you don't do it in time you fail! See how far you get. Other Notes - Move suddenly and with a lot of motion so the game can catch your movements with more accuracy. ------------ Balloon Trip ----------------------------------------- Advised Pose - The Big Cheese Objective - In this 3D rendition of Balloon Fight, fly as far as you can and earn points. Uses both the Wiimote and Nunchuk. Strategy - Flap the controllers to fly across the stage. Flapping one turns it that direction. The aim is to get points, so aim for the balloons but not if it's risky ie. near a spark or the water (fish will eat you up good). A balloon is worth 10 points and getting 10 balloons gives you a 100 point bonus. If you fly 1000 yards you get a bonus, plus popping enemies balloons nets you more bonus points. ------- Pyoro S ----------------------------------------- Advised Pose - The Remote Control Objective - In this side scrolling shooter, defeat enemies and earn as many points as you can! Press A or B to stick out your tongue and tilt to aim left or right. Strategy - Hit enemies with your tongue will net you 10 points, with hitting a line in one go will release an apple with 100 points. Hitting a flashing line of enemies gives you an orange, which adds Mini Pyoro's either side that help you get more points. The giant nest a little way in can be used to bat away more enemies if you hold out your tongue. Be sure to get the oranges whenever you can as usually a torrent of insects follow it. Later you also face flying pointing insects from the sides of the screen which fire projectiles so take them out quickly! Eventually the stage will reset once you get far enough. =============================================================================== ------------------------ 5. MULTIPLAYER MODES ------------------------ =============================================================================== Once you fully complete Single Player (defeat all the Elephant stages) multiplayer is unlocked. These are basically random minigames with one remote where up to 12 people can play! Survival - Complete Thrilling Mode (Elephant Stages). Darts - Complete Thrilling Mode (Elephant Stages). Bomb - Play Survival. Lifeline - Play Bomb. Balloon - Play Lifeline. Star Nose - Play Darts. Bungee Buddies - Play Star Nose. -------- Survival ----------------------------------------- Players - 1-12 Objective - Survive as long as you can! Strategy - As long as you win your game then you'll stay alive. Otherwise you fall out of the sky and are out ! Other Notes - The Miis are represented as angels flying through the sky! ---- Bomb ----------------------------------------- Players - 1-5 Objective - Win your games and pass the bomb to a player! Strategy - A random player starts and is handed the bomb and must play a game. Winning grants you who has the bomb next and what pose they must have (but most be chosen within the time limit). Fail and you are out! Levels increase gradually. -------- Lifeline ----------------------------------------- Players - 2-5 Objective - Players must play five games each and earn points by winning. After the games each player is suspended above a croc filled river and the more points you have the more ropes hold you up. The players take it in turns to cut ropes however they might cut your own! The person who stays alive the longest wins. Strategy - Get as many points as you can to stand a chance but as to the rope cutting it's random, so good luck! ------- Balloon ----------------------------------------- Players - 1-5 Objective - Fill the balloon with air between turns - if it pops you're out! Strategy - Before microgames you have to chance to pump the balloon. Do this if you like especially at the start but don't when it starts to fill the screen as completing a game will fill the balloon for you. If you lose the microgame you have to play once more and if the balloon pops on your turn, you're out! ----- Darts ----------------------------------------- Players - 1-4 Objective - Count down from 301 to 0 first to win! Strategy - Throw darts at the board until you reach 0. Hold the Wiimote in the Sketch Artist pose (above and holding with your finger and thumb) aiming and then jerking it forward to throw. Start by aiming for high points such as 25 / 50 (center) or 60 (triple 20, red line closest and straight above the bullseye). Once you get close then you have to get exactly 0, otherwise you'll be bust and you have to take your last go again until you do it. First player to reach 0 wins. --------- Star Nose ----------------------------------------- Players - 2 Objective - Collect three pieces of fruit to win! Strategy - Players control either the nunchuk or Wiimote and guide it down the passage, collecting fruit and avoiding the obstacles. As the Nunchuk doesn't have a pointer you may need to move slightly more for it to be recognised. First person to get three pieces wins, or you'll win if the other player crashes. -------------- Bungee Buddies ----------------------------------------- Players - 2 Objective - Run the course and dodge the pitfalls! If one fails, the other suffers! The further you go the better. Strategy - With the nunchuk attached each player has a controller at there hip, and you jerk it up to jump. You need to avoid pitfalls this way, such as ditches and man holes. Falling down a man hole will stop you, so jump out to continue. You can also eat food like cake which will make you fly waaaay up the track and really help your progress. After you finish you get a rank according to how well you fared and a finishing move to complete. =============================================================================== ------------------------------ 6. To unlock the next one complete the required amount of games. ------------------- Dr Crygor's Workout ------------------- After completing 9 Volt's microgames, this is unlocked at the island in the upper right corner of the map. You can also select music to play as you do this (the three buttons on the left hand side). ---------- Pose Cards ---------- Once you have completed a character, if you replay and get past their boss (even if you lose but as long as you have at least one life) then you will get a random Pose Card. These are just stupid poses to collect and gives the game more replayability. As they are random there is no exact walkthrough to getting them so just keep playing the characters over until you get them all! --------------- Mii Involvement --------------- When you start the game, you have to create a profile with a name, an assigned Mii and selected hand. Your assigned Mii will feature in several Microgames, as well as others you have created. Here is a list of each microgame that features a Mii, and in what way - Wario - Wario PI One of the Images through the looking glass Mona - Toilet Training (BOSS STAGE) Some of your created Mii's rarely make an appearance here!
