Welcome to my very first FAQ! Many people have wanted to know where to find Big
the Cat in this game, and some people have posted the missions he is in, but
not the EXACT locations. So, I came in to help clear up the confusion. In this
guide, I will tell you what missions you can find Big in, WHERE in the mission
you find him, what he does when you find him, and all his journal entries.
What? You don�t know who Big the Cat is? Big the Cat is just that, a big cat.
He�s purple, VERY fat, and likes to fish. He likes to fish so much that he
carries around his fishing pole everywhere, and in most scenes, he is fishing.
You must brake for a few seconds using the (1) button to see a little scene of
him doing something, and you�ll then unlock a page for him in the Special Book
section in the Main Menu. Let�s get started then, shall we?

 [2.0] Lost Prologue
********************
The tutorial world in Sonic and the Secret Rings (Will now be referred to as
SatSR.). There�s only one Big sighting in this world.

Mission 16: Paragraph 16
Splash Jump Practice: Head for the goal!
This mission is unlocked when you get the Splash Jump skill at level 42.

-Splash Jump onto the top platform with a Platinum Ring. Brake for a few
seconds, and you�ll see something big and purple swimming through the air. It�s
Big the Cat!

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 1: �A fairy told me �So you�re the blue hedgehog.�
I�ve ended up somewhere strange. Where is this place?� It has a picture of Big
with his arms crossed, standing on the pathway in Lost Prologue.

 [2.5] Sand Oasis
*****************
The first world in SatSR, it�s full of sand and water, hence the name �Sand
Oasis.� There�re two Big sightings in this world.

Mission 1: Go for the Goal
Find King Sharyar!
This mission is unlocked when you beat Mission 8: Paragraph 8 in Lost Prologue.

-On the strip of land where pillars are rising out of the ground, brake for a
few seconds before you jump over the second falling pillar. You�ll see Big
waving at you behind a bush thing.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 2: �I�ve come to a beautiful oasis. It�s so clear I
can see everything, but it seems like there are no fish.� It has a picture of
Big sitting on a toppled pillar, fishing.

Misson 4: No Pearls
Don�t get any Pearls!
This mission is unlocked when Alf Layla wa Layla, the boss of the final mission
once you collect all seven World Rings, is defeated.

-When the four pillars start to fall, brake for a few seconds in front of the
first one on the right (It has a genie on it.). You�ll see Big swimming around
with a Frog.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 3: �I was fising and I saw Froggy�s friend swimming.
It looks like fun. I think I�ll swim too!� It has a picture of Big diving into
the water.

 [3.0] Dinosaur Jungle
**********************

The second world in SatSR, it�s a lush world, with dinosaurs running freely.
There�re two Big sightings.

Mission 6: Stealth Attack
Don�t Defeat Enemies!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 2: Diehard Challenge in Dinosaur
Jungle.

-When you get to the river, ride the log into the flying pot. Fly as high as
you can, jump and do a homing-attack into the spring. You�ll jump automatically
for a bit and then land on a grassy, circular platform with a genie egg. Brake
for a few seconds, and you�ll see Big waving at you under a dinosaur.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 4: �Well there weren�t any fish. Not one. Monsters
must have eaten them. That�s not good.� It has a picture of Big with his hands
on his waist, looking out at the lake.


Mission 9: Special Challenge
Smash Five Genie Eggs!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 5: Rampage! In Dinosaur Jungle.

-After running down the dinosaur, brake for a few seconds on the grassy area as
you get near the flower spirit.  You�ll see Big holding his head.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 5: �What�? I was chased all the way by a giant
lizard! Which way did I come from�?� It has a picture of Big holding his head,
with a confused expression.

 [3.5] Evil Foundry
*******************
The third world in SatSR, it�s a foundry and it�s evil. There�re two Big
sightings.

Mission 2: Diehard Challenge.
Don�t Get Defeated!
This mission is unlocked when you defeat Captain Behemoth, the boss of Pirate
Storm.

-As you start the level, do a homing-attack into the tank the Golem�s holding,
then attack it�s head, and then attack the magic carpet. Brake for a few
seconds after getting onto the pathway, and you�ll see Big on a torch lamp on
the ceiling.

--Big�s Travel Diary Entry 6: �It�s a little hot but it seems like a good place
to fish. Come out, come out, little fish!� It has a picture of Big sitting on a
ledge, fishing�in lava. o_O

Mission 8: Perfect Challenge
Don�t Take Damage!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 4: Head to Head in Evil Foundry.

-When you see the Golem, jump onto the cylinder and brake for a few seconds.
You�ll see big sitting on the edge of a pit of lava.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 7: �Uh-oh! That�s not fish! Sorry�!� It has a picture
of Big running away from the Fire Golem.

 [4.0] Levitated Ruin
*********************
The fourth world in SatSR, completely in the air, so don�t look down! There�re
two Big sighting�s in this world.

Mission 5: Special Challenge
Open Sinbad�s Cage!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 1: Go for the Goal in Levitated
Ruin.

-As you approach the lever to switch the second mirror, brake for a few
seconds. You�ll see big balancing on top of a tower.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 8: �W-what�s this? I�ve been carried here by the
wind! Somebody help! Actually, this feels pretty good.� It has a picture of Big
stuck on a mirror by his belt.

Mission 10: Beat the Clock
Finish within 90 seconds!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 9: Rampage! in Levitated Ruin.

-As you get near the series of gargoyle�s, brake for a few seconds. You�ll see
Big behind an empty pedestal.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 9: �I got in line� but I don�t seem to be fitting in,
maybe I need to sit differently?� It has a picture of Big sitting on a pedestal
like the gargoyle�s.

 [4.5] Pirate Storm
*******************
The fifth world in SatSR, it�s got pirate�s, pirate ships, and has a LOT of
water, so don�t drown. There�re two Big sightings in this world.

Mission 1: Go for the Goal.
Follow the Pirates!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 5: Special Challenge in
Levitated Ruin

-When you reach the catapult after flying on a cannon rocket thing, raise the
catapult halfway and flick the Wii Remote to (hopefully) land in the crow�s
nest. Brake for a few seconds and you�ll see Big sitting on a mast farther away.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 10: �Whoa! Climbing up here was fun and all but now
how do I get down�?� It has a picture of Big standing on top of a crow�s nest.

Mission 5: Rampage!
Defeat 20 Genies!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 2: Head to head and Mission 10:
Stealth attack in Pirate Storm.

-When you come to an area with two very tall platforms, attack the
disappearing-reappearing genie on the first tall platform, and then land and
brake on it for a few seconds. You�ll see Big far away, looking at some type or
fort or something.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 11: �Whoa! This�ll be my hideout. I won�t tell
anyone, except for maybe Froggy�.� It has a picture of Big sitting in his new
hideout.

 [5.0] Skeleton Dome
********************
The sixth world in SatSR, it�s an arena with a lot of bones and corpses lying
around. There are two Big sightings.

Mission 5: rampage!
Defeat 40 Genies!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 1: Go for the Goal in Skeleton
Dome.

-When you enter the air launcher that fires you into a double-file line of
pearls, wait in it for a few seconds. You�ll see Big sitting in the middle of
the arena.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 12: �I befriended the old skeleton. He said he used
to be a huge fish. That�s amazing!� It has a picture of Big next to a giant
fish skeleton.

Mission 8: No Pearl
Don�t get any Pearls!
This mission is unlocked after completing Mission 4: Perfect Challenge in
Skeleton Dome.

-When you land on the group of rock platforms before the swinging axe things,
brake for a few seconds. You�ll see Big sitting on a giant skeleton in the
area, waving at you.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 13: �Before the old skeleton turned to bone, he was a
colorful fish who could sing too! I wish I could have caught him.� It has a
picture of big sitting on the aforementioned giant fish skeleton.

 [5.5] Night Palace
*******************
The last world in SatSR, it�s a big castle that�s home to the Erazor Djinn. The
last two Big sightings are here.

Mission 9: Die Hard Challenge
Don�t get defeated!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 7: Head to Head in Night Palace.

-Don�t bother with the turbo start here. Back up as soon as you start the level
to the staircase, and brake for a few seconds. You�ll see Big lying down on the
ground.

-Big�s Travel Diary Entry 14: �I�ve come all the way to the Milky Way� I heard
this is where I can find Pisces. I�d like to meet him.� It has a picture of Big
standing on one foot swinging his fishing pole around.

Mission 11: Beat the Clock
Finish within 90 seconds!
This mission is unlocked after beating Mission 3: Hands Off in Night Palace.

-In the room that turns upside-down, don�t grind along the rail. Drop onto what
used to be the ceiling (The floor.), past the first line on the ground, spike
ball, and stand next to the first pillar thing on the second line. Brake there
for a few seconds. You�ll see Big between two pillars.

Big�s Travel Diary Entry 15: �When I look up at the sky I miss Froggy. I�ve got
to go now. Wait for me Froggy!� It has a picture of Big staring up into the
stars.
