---Naruto Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3--- By: ZEROthefirst Also for all of the combos that I have completed i've taken the liberty to record them and post them on to youtube and paste the link for them on the corresponding characters here. I'm sorry for the quality of the videos I don't have any other way to record these videos so just have to deal with this for now :P ---Table of Contents--- 1. Legal 2. Intro 3. Version number 4. Legal WEll I myself really couldn't care less if you use this as long as you're not gonna be a loser and reproduce it here just using your name. This guide is complete only thing I have left to do with it is to finish up the other combos but I still have to figure them out and then post it on youtube. If there is anything here that you see I do not have feel free to send me an e-mail to help me with this at [email protected] if you do submit anything to me I will of course add your name into the thanks section as well as put your name next to the thing you submited so others who see it know you came up with it. 2. Intro Hey everyone name is ZEROthefirst or at least on any forums I go to, but ya this here is my first FAQ so don't be supprised if it's not that great or has spelling errors in it. I'll do my best to make this the best I can and as helpful as possible. As for my friend code it is 1634-4370-9558 and of course the name is ZEROthefirst. If you decide to play against me you'll be sure to get a good challenge since i've played through every clash of ninja/ gekitou ninja taisen (Japanese version of clash of ninja with more games) game so far. If you play against me I will use between Sasuke, Sasori, and Hidan since i've gotten used to playing with them in Naruto shippuden GNT Ex2-3. 3. Game mechanics Movement: Characters are always focused on a single opponent at a time, and can move toward or away from them. Double-tapping in the forward direction will result in a dash while double-tapping in the back direction will result in a quick back flip. They can also Sidestep left or right around their opponent in 3D space. Moving up will allow the character to jump, and all characters can double-jump. Guarding: Characters can guard oncoming attacks with auto guard (no button input) or moving away from the attacker. They can only guard for as long as the Guard Crush meter is not empty. The Guard Crush meter is diminished from guarding attacks at a rate that varies based on the attack that is blocked. Paper bombs and jutsu cannot be guarded against and must be evaded. Throws: There are various types of throws possible based on the character. Standard throws are activated with the Throw button. Character specific throws (where applicable) are activated by holding Down and pressing the Throw button. Lastly, air throws are activated by pressing the Throw button when the opponent is met in mid-air. "Tech-ing" a throw is achieved by pressing any attack button at the same moment your opponent attempts to throw. This breaks the opponent's throw attempt and pushes the characters away from each other. Combos: Each character has a unique set of combo strings. These strings are visible from the Attack List option in the Pause menu. Substitution Jutsu: Substitution Jutsu is a means of escaping attacks at the expense of chakra. Executing a Substitution Jutsu costs 75% chakra and will teleport the character to the opposite side of the attacker. There are two different types of Substitution Jutsu: An offensive and neutral type. The Offensive Substitution Jutsu teleports the character and automaticaly attempts to follow up with an attack. The Neutral Substitution Jutsu simply performs a neutral teleport, without an attack. Wake up options: Wake up options are executed by particular inputs as the character is rising from the ground. There are three wake up options: Wake Up Attack, Wake Up Substitution, or neutral wake up. Wake up attack results in a forward sweep attack by using a Weak Attack while rising. This attack can be blocked and costs no chakra. Wake up substitution is a defensive maneuver that teleports the character behind the enemy by using a Strong Attack while rising; Wake up substitutions cost 50% chakra. The character will simply stand and auto-guard in a neutral wake up when no imputs are made. Paper bombs: Paper Bombs are explosive kunai projectiles that are unblockable and cost 25% chakra. They can be thrown in three different ways: planted on the ground, planted on a stage object, or thrown at an enemy. While holding both Sidestep buttons you can hold Down and press Strong Attack to plant a Paper Bomb trap on the ground. Also while holding down both Sidestep buttons, players can take aim at the screen with the Wii Remote and target stage objects to plant a Paper Bomb onto. The reticule will enlarge when aimed at a valid target, and a Paper Bomb can be lobbed at it with a Strong Attack. Simply holding down Sidestep buttons and using a Strong Attack will result in throwing a Paper Bomb directly at the targeted opponent. Paper Bomb traps can also be detonated for a small amount of chakra (per Paper Bomb) by holding both Sidestep buttons, then using a Weak Attack. Auto-guard is disabled when entering the Paper Bomb stance, leaving your character vulnerable. Paper Bombs can be deflected just like normal projectiles. Hand-signs: Hand signs are movement based inputs that results in a character power-up. Because they are movement based, only the Wii Remote and nunchuk controller operation supports the Hand sign stance. There are two different Hand sign inputs: an attack power boost and a chakra boost. Holding the Z Button and C Button enters the Hand sign stance. While in the stance, moving the Wii Remote Right - Down - Left results in a 15 second attack power boost, while a Left - Down - Right movement will add 25% chakra meter. Auto-guard is disabled when entering the Hand sign stance, leaving your character vulnerable. Technical landings( Tech roll): Tech-Rolling allows your character to roll on the ground after being attacked instead of landing flat. It's an automatic wake up that rolls in the direction of your character's momentum and also adds 25% chakra meter. Tech-Rolls are activated by using a Weak or Strong Attack just as your character is about to hit the ground. Two-man squad commands: In Two-Man Squad battles, team members can be summoned into the arena in three different ways: an offensive tag-in, neutral tag-in, or assist attack. An offensive tag-in brings in the other member of the squad for control, and in transitioning, performs an attack. It is executed by holding Back and using the Tag-In button, and costs 50% chakra to both characters. Neutral tag-ins are performed simply by pressing the Tag-in button, and the alternate squad member will swap in. Neutral tag-ins use 25% of the active character's chakra meter. An assist attack is executed by holding Down and pressing the Tag-in button. The assisting squad member will hop in with an attack and then quickly hop back out. The assist attack uses 50% of the standby character's chakra meter. In a Cooperative Two-Man Squad match, the standby player can choose to assist attack by pressing the Tag-in button, using 50% of their own chakra. When both members of a squad have full chakra meters, a Two-Man "Combination" jutsu can be performed by holding Forward and pressing the Jutsu button. This jutsu costs each member 100% of their chakra meter and does extra damage. Latent ninja powers (LNP): Each character has a unique Latent Ninja Power that becomes available after losing a certain amount of health (which varies with each character). Some Latent Ninja Powers are passive, such as a statistical boost in attributes, while others unlock the ability to use new jutsu. Characters have enabled their Latent Ninja Powers when a colored aura surrounds them on the battle field. Canceling: Canceling uses 25% chakra to interrupt a combo string and instantly return to a neutral stance. To cancel, begin a combo string against an opponent. After landing each hit, if a command launches the opponent into the air while your character's feet are still on the ground, pressing the Throw button before inputting the next command in the combo string will cancel the combo. Taking cover: By default, stage obstacles like rocks, stumps or boxes will appear on the battlefield. These can be hidden behind to avoid taking damage. To hide behind an obstacle, dash, back flip, or sidestep toward it. These obstacles can be destroyed after a moderate amount of damage. Characters can also perform attacks from cover by performing Weak or Strong attacks. Also, in Two-Man Squad matches, your character may swap with your partner without cost to your chakra meter. 6. ANBU Kakashi - Anko - Asuma - Baki - Bando - Choji - Forward Weak+Strong+Strong+throw down a paper bomb+Forward Weak+Weak Deidara - Just use his special (must use Wii remote + nunchuck). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDesL_ZZreM Gaara - Granny Chiyo - Same as Deidara simply use her special (must use wii remote + nunchuck). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nYv3I9yYOno Hidan - Use hand signs to fill chakra up and then set 4 Paperbombs down in a row in front of the opponent as close to them as possible without hitting them and try to space the 3rd and 4th ones out just a little bit from the others and then use the handsigns to restore all of your chakra again, then push the opponent back untill you can only see the end of the red ring you can see from the paperbomb and then jump over them and then perform Weak+Weak+weak and they should fall into the bombs make sure you walk along with them so when they hit the 4th bomb that you time correctly Weak+Weak+Weak+Strong and once it hits 20 or 21 hits whichever is the number for when the multiple slashes stops perform a combo cancel and perform Back Strong and then once it hits 28-29 Hits perform another combo cancel and do another Back Strong and you should have it (Note for this I first started with the wii remote and nunchuck to get the chakra full and then pause and plug-in the gamecube controller and place the paperbombs down then pause again and un-plug it and use the handsigns to refill my chakra and then plug in the gamecube controller again to finish the job honestly I had to do this cause if I only used the wii remote and nunchuck I would have never beaten it lol I suck with those controls. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J2XeK1YpRuY Hinata - Hiruko - Honestly one of the most annoying combos to do but works at least. Charge back Strong(till it stops charging) and fire it from the farthest point that it will reach your opponent and continually do that until you get to somewhere between 65, and 70 hits then do your special on them.(Note try to keep the opponent in a corner to keep them from getting out of the combo.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C36dbsdlWI0 Itachi - Up Weak, while falling Weak+Weak+Special. It must be Nightmare Realm or it won't work (must use Wii remote + nunchuck). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xzsFyvlzk4Y Another combo contributed by youcantcatchme Can be done with gamecube controller by performing Forward B combo + hit 3 or 4 times with normal weak + combo cancel then create shadow clone that slashes down then hit them up which I think is up Strong + 2 weak attacks + nightmare realm special. Jiraiya - Kabuto - Back strong+Charge strong+Weak x4+Combo cancel+ Weak x4+Down Weak x3, and then wait a second and then do a Strong so you use kunai's instead of the little thrust attack its very annoying to try and pull off but you should be able to get it after a bit. Note: for the first 2 parts try to stay as close to the target as possible also I used the gamecube controller it seems to be the easiest way to pull this off unless you are better with another option to me it just confuses me sometimes using the wii remote and nunchuck. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tVYHfypN4tU Kagura - Kakashi - Push opponent up against the wall and perform Up Strong repeatedly until you complete the mission or do this until you get 16 Hits and perform your Up Special. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4r0mNTnoRvk Kakuzu - Kankuro - Kiba - Kisame - Komachi - Kurenai - Guy - Naruto - Weak+Weak+Weak+Weak, while they are falling in air do Weak+Weak+Special (must use Wii remote + nunchuck or won't work I can manage around 42-43 when I do it.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvBRBA9F0h8 Neji - Down Strong+Weak+Weak+Weak+Weak+Weak then throw down paper bomb and perform Forward Weak+Weak+Strong+Weak+Weak+Special. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zly5Q1xUBcc Orochimaru - Really simple and i'm sure most people know this already. Just do Down-Weak+Strong, while falling time your Down-Weak+Strong, and repeat this till you get 99 hits you should only have to do that over a couple times really simple and easy way to get more ryo to unlock some characters. Everytime oyu repeat this mission if you did it well you should get around 1493 ryo everytime. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vtq-sJfoQhM Rock Lee - Open both gates+Weak+Weak+Weak+Weak+Strong you probably have to run a little to get them again but then perform Weak 4 more times+Strong then time it right and do your special. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ChC2xhYJXc Sai - Sakura - Sasori -Weak+Weak+Strong+Weak+Weak, while enemy is falling do Weak+Weak+Special. (Must use wii remote and nunchuck.) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TNBXlh59wxc Sasuke - Up Strong+Strong+Weak+Weak+Weak+throw down a paper bomb+Weak+ Weak+Weak+Weak+Weak and repeat this untill you get them to 30 hits then throw down another paper bomb and perform a forward Strong and continue it until mission is complete. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNfwRGXX920 Shikamaru - Shino - Combo contributed by youcantcatchme Charge Strong fully + running weak + Strong attack + follow up with Special just as the damage from the last bug is gone.
