===================
1.) Introduction
===================

Howdy and welcome to my guide for Muramasa: The Demon Blade. Muramasa is
pretty much a spiritual successor to Odin Sphere and since I really enjoyed
Odin Sphere and wrote for it, I figured why not pick up Muramasa and write for
it as well. From what I've played so far, it seems to play just like Odin
Sphere, except to me it has a much faster pace in battles which is always a
plus for me.

This walkthrough will cover both characters in the game so be patient while I
juggle this between college and work.

===================
3.) Game Basics
===================

Here are a few basic things you should note:

*Life Flame: This is pretty much your HP and when it runs out, you'll start
back at the area you died at, just like in Odin Sphere. Keep a constant eye
on this when there are large mobs or strong enemies around.

*Soul Power: This is the blue bar underneath the name of the blade you have
equipped. Everytime you use a Special Art or Guard with your blade, the bar
will decrease. Once the bar is completely empty, it will break in half and
you'll either have to fight with a broken blade or switch to a different one.
You can restore the Soul Power bar by finding Souls or let it regenerate over
time while you use a different blade. Repelling attacks also decreases the
Soul Power bar.

*Souls: You'll want to collect these as they not only help boost up the
regeneration of broken blades or help boost the Soul Power bar in general, they
help you forge new blades when the option becomes available. They're all over
the place so make sure to examine each area to see if there are any around.

*Forging: After defeating the first boss, you'll get the option to forge new
blades. You need souls and spirits in order to make a new blade. Obviously
each new blade will require a different number of souls and spirits.

===================
4.) Battle Basics
===================

Since Muramasa is pretty much the spiritual successor to Odin Sphere, all
battles are handled in real time, or have an active battle system if you wish
to call it that. Battles aren't as complicated as they seem in the tutorial
but here are a few basic moves to know about.

*Slash: Simply tapping the A button will allow your character to attack once.

*Combo Slash: Pushing the A button over and over again will lead to a 4 hit
combo usually and can be linked towards other moves.

*Uppercut: Hold A and tap Up on the analog stick to send the enemy flying into
the air.

*Dive: While in the air, hold A and then tap Down on the analog stick to dive
at your enemy.

*Flying Slice: Hold A and then tap either Left or Right on the analog stick to
fly through the air and attack your enemy. This can be used up to a maximum of
three times in a combo.

*Sliding Attack: Hold down and then push A to do a sliding attack at the enemy.

*Secret Art: Each Blade has a different special attack. Simply push B to
unleash the one you have equipped.

*Changing Blades: Push C to bring up the next sword in your possession to equip
it. You can also do a Quick Draw when you switch blades.

Of course not everything is about offense.

*Roll: Hold down on the analog stick and then tap either left or right to roll
left or right. This is great for escaping to an open area if you feel you're
surrounded.

*Guard: Simply hold A to guard an attack.

===================
5.) Walkthrough
===================

Before we start, there are a couple of things I want to note before starting on
this section of the guide.

-I'm going to separate each area into screens. For example, in the very first
area where the tutorial is available, I'm going to call that S1, meaning Screen
1. Since you're on a 2D Plain, you're going left and right pretty much and I
find it much easier to separate the screens into different sections rather than
cluster them all into one or two paragraphs.

-You may or may not be attacked by an enemy when I say there will be a fight.
Those are the places that I got into a fight. It seems to be randomized so if
I say I got into a fight at a certain area, just be prepared. If you don't get
into a fight at that certain area, you're not doing anything wrong.

-I like to explore every possible place before advancing to where I need to go
so that's what I'm going to do for this guide. If you have a problem with
that then use the map and find the way to go yourself.

Once you choose New Game, you'll get a choice betwen Muso and Shura. Muso is
Easy difficulty while Shura is Hard difficulty.

Momohime
========

Opening Act
(MOOA)
-----------

S1: This is where the tutorial will be. If this is your first time playing the
game then I recommend you view it as it gives you a better look at what you'll
be using throughout the game.

S2: Simply head east here.

S3: Check around the trees in this area as you can find some souls. You'll
want to collect as much of these as you can. Apprentice Ninjas might appear
here. The only menacing thing about them is the fact they can throw multiple
shurikens at once.

S4: Go east.

S5: Notice the basket icon in the middle of the map? That indicates there's an
item here. Collect the souls around here and keep hopping trees until you come
across a shiny object. Examine it to pick up a Healing Pellet.

S6: There's another item in the trees here. Grab the Bamboo Flash and exit
this screen.

S7: Head east a bit and a bunch of Wooly Eyeballs will fly out from underneath
you. Take out as many as you can. Chances are some will run away. If they
do don't worry about it.

S8: Go a bit east and enter the house you come across. You'll know when you
find it when an icon appears in front of it. Grab the Bamboo Flask x2, exit
the house and head to the next screen.

S9: Take care of the Apprentice Ninjas and when you head a little bit more to
the east, a new enemy will appear; Samurais. When you attack them they'll
block your attacks with their swords. Either keep attacking them until they
break or hold A and push Down on the analog stick to break them quicker.

S10: Climb the trees in this area for some souls.

S11: Gather the souls in this area and take care of the Apprentice Ninjas if
they appear. At the very end of this area, climb the tree and then head east.

S12: Drop down to the ground and turn to your left to find some stray souls
just waiting for you to kidnap them. There are more souls in the trees around
here.

S13: Enter the house in this area for a Healing Pellet and exit. Keep going
east to find a second house. Enter it to find another Healing Pellet and then
exit this screen for good.

S14: Defeat the Apprentice Ninjas if they appear and grab the souls from the
trees.

S15: Use the save point (you honestly can't miss it) and then head all the way
to the right and enter the next area. It'll warn you a boss is coming up so
make sure you're ready.

S16: Talk to everyone in the area to continue.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

This Blue Monk cyclops is our first boss and like with most first bosses, he's
pretty simple. His attacks are easy to dodge since you'll be able to see them
coming from a mile away. He'll start chanting and do one of the following:

*Jump into the air and try to land on you.

*Throw out about 5 or 6 objects that will float in the air. They'll crash into
the ground, causing fire pillars where they landed temporarily.

*He'll spit out some fire that'll travel a minimal distance across the ground.

*He'll groan a little bit, sounding like he has indigestion or constipation and
then jump backwards, spitting out a wave of blue flames or boogers or whatever
they are.

His fourth attack is the most dangerous one but since he gives it away so
easily thanks to his groan, you can roll behind him, wait for him to jump then
run behind him.

Just attack him however you like and after a few seconds of chanting, roll
behind him to dodge his oncoming attack and then resume attacking. Honestly,
this guy doesn't need a strategy to kill.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating the Blue Monk, you'll obtain a new blade; the Hasebe Kunishige.
Talk with everyone to advance the game.

Act 2
(MOA2)
------

S1: Save your game and head west.

S2: Notice how the area is familiar?

S3: Yeah, you'll be backtracking a lot for right now.

S4: The exit on this screen is at the top, so climb the tree at the far left
side and climb up.

S5: You know the drill.

S6: West we go.

S7: West.

S8: West.

S9: West.

S10: Some Apprentice Ninjas might appear here. If not then a new enemy might
appear here as well; Goblins. Just stay on the ground and use combo attacks to
take them out. They're far from a threat.

S11: Drop down and keep going west.

S12: West some more young princess.

S13: Take care of the Apprentice Ninjas if they appear.

S14: Go all the way to the west and examine the barrier to break it.

O--------O
| Sagami |
O--------O

S1: Ah, here we go. Some new territory for us to explore. Grab the souls in
the area.

S2: Jump up to the top of the area as soon as you enter and examine the shining
object on the rocks to obtain a Recovery Pellet. Drop back down and go west
to fight some Goblins. Use the same strategy as before and keep going.

S3: As soon as you enter some Goblins will assault you. Take them out.

S4: Go a bit west and climb the nearby tree. If you jump you'll find something
on a tree branch that you can't reach. Jump up to where the shining spot is
and push A while Momohime is over it to pick up the item. You might fight
either some Ninjas or Monks here. Ninjas are like Apprentice Ninjas only a
little stronger. Monks aren't anything to worry about either. Take the west
exit.

S5: Grab the souls here and at the far left, there's a barrier. We'll come
back here later. Go back to S4.

S4: Go to the top of the area and go east.

S6: Grab the nearby souls and drop down to the ground. Go a bit to the right
and you'll fight a bird. Just jump up and attack him before he gets the chance
to dive at you. Go east some more and climb to the top of the tree in the area
to find a Smoke Bomb. Drop down and exit the area.

S7: Grab the souls in the area and ignore the barrier in the center of the
area. Proceed east.

S8: Grab the souls in the area and keep going east.

S9: You'll fight some kind of giant blob in this area. All he does is shoot
out acidic (?) things from his head so when he gets ready to erupt, duck in the
right corner then continue attacking it. Make sure to climb the trees to find
a Smoke Bomb before exiting the area.

S10: Talk to Kongiku and use the save point. Go east.

S11: Talk to the people in town. Talking to the waitress outside will allow
you to eat at the restaurant to restore you're health if you're somehow lacking
in health.

Even if you don't need health, go ahead and grab something to eat as eating
at a restaurant or using healing items increases your Spirit which is one of
the two ingredients used in forging new blades.

Whenever you're done here, exit the restaurant and continue to the East.

S12: Grab the souls scattered in the area and then closely examine along the
ground until you find a shining spot. Examine it to find a Herbal Remedy.

S13: The second person you can talk to here runs an item shop. Lucky you,
right?

Once you're done shopping, go east.

S14: Go east once more to reach the next area.

O---------O
| Musashi |
O---------O

NOTE: If my directions seem a little... off or confusing, that was because I
was stupid and didn't buy a map for Musashi beforehand and then even that I
didn't explore all areas first before taking notes. I made sure not to make
that mistake again.

S1: Simply head east.

S2: You might fight some Kappas here as you progress to the east. They like to
dive into the water and then dive up and try to hit you so watch out for that.

S3: Go east and once you come across a bridge, take it.

S4: There's an item shop here if you want to shop.

---------------------------------------O

Whenever you're done here, head west.

S5: Go west and you might get into a fight. Keep going west.

S6: There's a barrier here but keep it in mind as this is a shortcut back into
Musashi from Kai. Go back to screen 4 where the merchant is.

S4: Head east this time.

S7: Use the save point if you want or if you're in need of some healing.

S8: You can drop down into the water here and I would recommend doing so as you
can find some souls down there.

S9: Go east and you might fight some Ninjas. Keep going east.

S10: Run past the bridge you come across as you keep going to the right.

S11: Head east and you'll find an area that you can enter. Do so and you'll
drop down to the bottom of a well, gathering souls as you do. Once you land
check the left corner to find a Hinezumi Dress. This prevents you from getting
the Burn status effect and it'll come in handy for the upcoming boss fight so
make sure to equip it on the Equipment screen. Exit the well and go east
again.

S12: Examine the barrier and you should be able to break it. This leads to an
enemy lair and it'll give you a recommended level of 9 or above. Even on the
Muso difficulty this is hard below level 9. I came back at around Level 18 or
19 so I'd wait a bit. Grab the souls sitting on the far end of the screen
(you may have to jump to get them) then head back to screen 10.

S10: Take the bridge this time.

S13: Go east.

S14: Drop down into the water to get some souls and then jump back onto the
main land and explore around to find an item. Examine it to get a Herbal
Remedy. Go back all the way to screen 3 where the first bridge of this area
was.

S3: Go past the bridge this time and keep going east.

S15: Jump across the buildings and you'll eventually run across an item. It
should be located on one of the higher ones. Examine it for an Amakaze and
keep going east.

S16: The first door contains an enemy so if you want to fight it, do so. When
you come across the third door on this screen, enter it to find a Rice Bag x3.
Exit, jump to the very top and keep going east.

S17: The third door in this area has an item as well. Enter it if you want and
get the Cabbage x2 and then continue on.

S18: Ignore the first two doors and enter the third one to find a waitress.
Again, eating at a restaurant or using items helps increase your spirit count
so make sure to use them if you need it.

---------------------------------------O
Name Price |
---- ----- |
Sushi [Tuna] 20 Mon |
Sushi [Flounder] 40 Mon |
Sushi [Sea Urchin] 60 Mon |
Sillago Tempura 80 Mon |
Whole Sea Bream 100 Mon |
---------------------------------------O

Exit when you're done and backtrack a bit to the first door. There's a
Recovery Pellet near it. Continue eastward.

S19: Examine the barrier at the end of this area.

S20: Keep going east.

S21: You might fight some Armed Monks here so be careful.

S22: Once you enter, immediately jump up to the top and enter the door to find
an Amakaze x2. The other two doors contain only enemies so fight them if you
want.

S23: Ignore the first two doors in this area and enter the third one to obtain
a Rice Bag x3.

S24: Just keep going east.

S25: East some more, young princess.

S26: Grab the Smoke Bomb that's right at the beginning of this screen and go
east a bit to encounter some possible Wooly Eyeballs.

S27: All three doors here contain enemies so keep moving.

S28: Nothing special here so keep going east.

S29: Jump across the buildings and enter the second door to find a Recovery
Pellet. Exit out, head to the top of the area and continue to the east.

S30: You might fight some more Wooly Eyeballs here or another type of enemy.
At the end of this area is a Fire Charm as well so make sure to grab it.

S31: Keep going east.

S32: Use the save point and enter the shrine.

S33: Head east and enter the door. Talk to the person inside and then push A
to proceed.

S34: Same process as last time. Enter the door, talk to the person and then
proceed to the next area.

S35: Again, enter the door, talk to the person and proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Wanyudo is the name of the boss here and while he isn't terribly difficult nor
all that hard, he's obviously a step up from the push over Blue Monk from last
time. The one thing you'll want to do here is stay in the air and keep
attacking him while he's in the air. He has a limited amount of moves which
consist of:

*Shooting out some purple spirits at you.

*Dropping a fire pool on the ground that stays there for quite some time.

*Landing on the ground and tries to ram into you, leaving a fire trail.

The main reason you want to stay in the air is because of that last attack.
Whenever you see him land on the ground, get your ass away from him as he could
charge at you at any moment so it's best to play it safe rather than risk it to
get a few extra hits in. When he does charge, make sure to have a good enough
distance to see him coming so you can jump over him. Once he's off screen,
a trail of fire will be left on the ground EXCEPT in the spot you're standing
on so stay where you are until the fire disappears. He'll float back into the
air so resume attacking him.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating Wanyudo, you'll obtain the Kashagiri Hiromitsu blade.

Talk to everyone after the fight and that'll end Act 2.

Act 3
(MOA3)
------

Go all the way back to Sagami and then keep going west until you find that
barrier you couldn't penetrate earlier. Make sure to examine around on the
other side for Recovery Pellet before continuing.

O-----O
| Izu |
O-----o

S1: Grab the souls that are in the trees as well as the Bear Pellet up in the
trees and continue to the west.

S2: Grab the souls and then check the upper west corner of the area to find a
Iyo Stone.

S3: Use the save point if you need to.

S4: Defeat the enemies here if any appear and look around for some souls.

S5: Go west and you might fight some Toads. Not too bad but they can shatter
your blades easily so don't try to fight them all at once.

S6: There are some souls lingering around in the air so make sure to grab them.

S7: Head west and enter the cave when it appears.

S8: You'll fight three Ninjas in this area that just love to toss bombs at you.
The best way to deal with them is to do a normal combo on them. Once they
get off their feet, three to four bombs will come loose so either jump out of
the cove you're in or roll out of the way if you can and then continue
attacking them. Once they're taken care of, jump to the highest area and
look around the eastern side to find a Kitchen Secrets Vol. 3 book. Drop down
to the very bottom and head east.

S9: Go all the way to the right to find an Iyo Stone and then go back to the
previous area.

S8: Take care of the Ninjas if they respawned and then get back to the top of
the area and go west this time.

Whenever you're done here, continue on.

S14: Go east.

S15: East some more.

S16: You guessed it. East.

S17: There's a barrier here but make sure to keep it in mind for later. Go
all the way back to screen 1 now.

S1: Drop down to the bottom and go west.

S18: Take care of the Ninjas with bombs here and drop to the bottom and go

enemies so your best bet would to attack in the air. Grab the souls and
examine around the trees to find a Tengu Mask. This is an accessory so if you
want to equip it, feel free to do so.

S22: Go west.

S23: Destroy the barrier here and continue to the west.

S24: It's nothing but a giant run to the left before the boss here. Grab the

S31: Continue to the west.

S32: Use the save point and then enter the shrine.

S33: Talk to everyone and then make sure you're prepared before proceeding.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

You'll fight Yukinojyo here and while can pose a problem if you're not quick
to jump out of the way, he isn't too bad all around. This fight is pretty much
similiar to fighting a Samurai, except Yukinojyo is much stronger and has a lot
more health than your average Samurai you see on the streets. Start off the
battle by assaulting him until his sword breaks which could take up to 3 normal
combos. While you're doing this, pay attention to his movements. If he brings
his sword back and mutters something, jump into the air before he's able to
slash you.

Once his sword breaks, he'll try to keep his distance from you and then
possibly try to thrust you. This is easily countered if you use the blade you
got from the previous boss fight, Kashagiri Hiromitsu. The special ability on
this blade, Earth Hornet, is very useful as you'll do several quick thrusts and
if Yukinojyo runs into it, it'll freeze him and hurt him with several thrusts
at the same time so don't be afraid to use it. If you can try to roll behind
him to avoid some of his attacks and to hit him from behind but its quite hard
to do as he almost immediately rolls right behind you.

After a minute or so his sword will be repaired so you're back to step one. If
you stray too far away from him he'll unleash a purple wave from his sword so
jump over this and go back to assaulting him until his sword breaks and then
just keep attacking him.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating Yukinojyo, you'll receive the Izumokami Naganori. Talk to
everyone afterwards and that'll end Act 3.

Act 4
(MOA4)
------

Remember where the item shop is? Go to it and before going to the barrier
we want to destroy, go west a few screens to find it and destroy it. Make sure
to pick up the Herbal Remedy as well.

On your way back to the item shop, you may find a monkey. Talking to it allows
you to use the hot springs which fully heals you and restores all of your
blades Soul Power to make sure to take advantage of it.

At the item shop, go east and break the barrier here to enter the next area.

S24: Talk to everyone and proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

No, you're not fighting a giant foot. You're actually fighting a rather large
demon but you'll need to damage his foot since that's the only part of his
body that's visible. This first part isn't that hard since the only attacks
he pretty much has is stomping the ground and swinging his foot across the
screen. Start attacking it and eventually he'll either bring his foot into
the clouds or bring it back. If it goes into the clouds, roll the hell out of
the way and jump when it comes down. If you're on the ground when it comes
back down, you'll become momentarily stunned. If he brings it back then stay
low or jump around to dodge his foot when it comes flying across the screen.

After taking out the first part of his health bar, go back to attacking his
foot but this time it'll stop for a few seconds and you won't be able to hurt
it. Jump on it and it'll bring you up to where the upper body. This part of
the fight is harder mainly because of the purple sickles flying around the
area. If you connect your blade with one of these, it'll either instantly
break or the Soul Power from it will drastically drain so keep moving and get
some good distance between you and the sickles. Attack his hand or any other
body part to damage him. His fist will usually just usually come from the air
to crush you so make sure to avoid that.

After knocking off his health bar for a second time, he'll transform into a
giant boar, which is his real form. It'll be knocked unconscious so take
advantage of it by attacking it over and over again. Once he wakes up he'll
go back into that huge demon form. Just rinse and repeat now until you know
off all its health.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating Ippondatara, you'll receive the Ichimonji Norimune blade. Talk
with everyone to proceed like per usual.

S41: Yup. West some more.

S43: Talk to everyone and then proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

The Chimera is probably going to be the toughest boss you've faced so far but
I don't know how good or how bad you are at the same but he was the toughest
for me so I thought I'd say that. Shut up. Don't judge me. The thing about
the Chimera is that when you get near him, he'll curl up and do one of the
following:

*Bounce across the screen, trying to land on you.

*Spin around in the air and shoot out blue flames.

*Turn into a tornado to try to suck you in.

*Swoop down at you while hovering in the air.

The second attack is the one we want to happen. When you see the blue flames
coming your way, hit them back immediately. Doing so will damage the Chimera
AND it'll stun him, leaving him defenseless for a few seconds so take that
opportunity to waltz in and beat the living crap out of him. If he starts
bouncing across the screen, just roll to the side to dodge it. If he turns
into a tornado run the opposite direction he's sucking you in. I should note
though that when he does this, he'll become dizzy for a couple of seconds so if
you're feeling ballsy, you can hit him when he's vulnerable afterwards. The
fourth attack isn't a problem if you keep your distance

I'm not sure if there's some kind of pattern to his attacks (like how close or
far you are from him) or if there's a certain order he does them in so as far
as I know, this fight is about luck and patience.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating the Chimera you'll get the Shishiou blade. Talk to everyone
and proceed to end Act 5.

S1: There's an exit to your left if you need to head out for some reason. When
you're ready go east and on the higher ground, there's a Sage Pellet. Go back
a bit to the left and drop down to the bottom and go east.

S2: You'll fight a Hell Horse here as well as some similiar enemies. These
guys have a lot of HP and hit hard. If you see them lower their head, they're
going to charge at you so make sure to jump out of the way. If they put their
weapon in the ground, they'll unleash a shockwave that goes a limited distance.
Sometimes they'll jump in the air and then land near you, swinging their weapon
down in the process. Finally they'll sometimes do a simple swipe of their
arms or weapons so make sure to attack a few times and back off to see what
they're going to do. You're going to run into plenty of these guys down here.

S3: Head east.

S4: Kill the rat looking things here and go east to find a Shura Belt. Head

S11: Go east past the cave.

S12: Grab the Sage Pellet in this section and go back.

S11: Hop and skip into the cave.

S13: Go east.

S14: You'll fight two of those giant enemies you've been running into this time
around so make sure to take it slow. I found it best to wait until one of them
charges across the screen, leaving the other one isolated. ALWAYS keep an
eye behind you so that you can see if someone is trying to jump on you or
charge at you.

S15: Use the save point and enter the shrine.

S16: Talk to everyone and proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

The Big Oni is a huge (no pun intended) pain in the ass and you'll want to
play this fight slow. The first part of this fight takes place in his stomach
so just keep hitting where ever in his stomach until he throws you up. Best
amusement park ride ever! Once you're on the outside, a bunch of the little
Onis will come to aid the Big Oni. It doesn't matter if you kill them since
more will just come.

Big Oni actually doesn't attack you until you do enough damage to him. You
can either stand on his shoulders and attack his head or use his belly as a
stepping stool to attack his head. Either way after you do enough damage
you'll see a message at the bottom of the screen telling you to hide behind a
rock. If you don't, Big Oni will grab you and smash you against the ground
three times which does A LOT of damage. As soon as you see that message, jump
off the Big Oni immediately and find a rock that HE ISN'T NEAR. If you hide
behind a rock that he's standing by, he'll start punching it over and over
again, damaging you in the process.

This is actually easier said than done because the little Onis have a nasty
habit of hitting you and knocking you into the Big Oni's view so you'll want to
find a rock that's at a fair distance away from Oni. Just keep attacking his
head and hiding behind the rocks and you'll eventually win.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating the Big Oni, you'll get the Onikiri blade. Talk to everyone
and proceed as per usual.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Raijin can either be a very difficult boss or a somewhat simple boss depending
if you're the type of person that enjoys rushing in and beating the living shit
out of your opponent or if you like to play it safe and be wary about
everything around you. For this fight, it's better to play it safe. When the
fight starts, Raijin will summon lightning orbs to surround her. This only
marks the beginning of hell for you. She can do multiple things while these
are active:

*Shoot electrical orbs at you. These can be countered by hitting them with
your blade.

*Shoot out a lightning bolt around the battlefield. You can just roll past
this to avoid it without taking any damage.

*She'll teleport around the battlefield a few times, shooting out powerful
bursts of lightning. When she does this, quickly get behind her by any means
possible.

*She'll stay at the top of the screen and go back and forth as she drags a
decent sized lightning bolt across the screen. You can roll to avoid this but
you have to time it just right. Wait before it's getting closer then roll.

*She'll start chasing you around the battlefield in a state in which she's
emitting electricity. Use the clouds to jump over her and run away from her
until she stops.

*Multiple lightning bolts will rain down on you. Find an open space between
them and stay there until they stop.

The key to this fight is taking out all of those orbs. The best time to
attack them is when they don't have any kind of electricity around them. Using
a Quick Draw gives you a great chance of taking out the majority of them in one
blow, if not all of them. Once you crush all of the orbs around her, Raijin
will fall on her ass and will be stunned for several seconds so take that
opportunity to attack her to the fullest extent. Abuse your blades Special
Arts if you have to. Just hurt her. You can attack her while the orbs are
up but it's very risky.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Upon defeating Raijin, you'll receive the Mutsunokami Yoshiyuki blade. Talk
with everyone to proceed to the final act for Momohime.

reproducing THIS fast? Now there's an item right above you when you enter
this area. Instead of waiting to get it, you can jump up towards it and once
you see the Examine icon appear, quickly push A to grab it as you're coming
back down. It's a Spirit Tablet. Okay so maybe it wasn't all that worth it
but it's a free item so you can't complain. Stay on the same level and go
east. Make sure not to drop down yet.

S39: Open the chest here for a Demon God Belt. Head back.

S38: NOW drop down and continue on.

S40: Go east.

S41: More butterflies? I sense a theme here. At the very top level is a Smoke
Bomb that's hiding somewhere. Pick it up and go east.

S42: East.

S43: Yet more butterflies are here. Seriously, what the hell. Jump up two
levels and grab the Spirit Tablet waiting for you in the east corner. Go west
now.

S44: West.

S45: More butterflies. Keep going.

S46: Thankfully we're almost done.

S47: These butterflies don't know what a condom is apparently.

S48: West.

S49: Yup, you guessed it. More butterflies.

S50: Go west.

S51: More butterflies. At the top level is a Bronze Mirror so make sure to
grab it.

S52: Keep going west.

S53: Thankfully this is the last room with a bunch of butterflies in it. Grab
the Spirit Tablet that's sitting on the top level.

S54: West.

S55: Keep going weset.

S56: FINALLY. Use the save point and enter the shrine for the final showdown.

S57: Talk to everyone and proceed as per usual.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

For a final boss, Fudo-Myoou is actually pretty easy. You're not fighting
Fudo himself but rather your focus is going to be on his two cohorts for the
majority of this fight. They'll be riding around on clouds and shooting out
small, slow moving electrical sparks which you can diminish with your blade.
They teleport around as well and one last attack is when they merge together.
When they do this, they'll look like two spirits and they'll situate themselves
at the middle of the bottom of the screen. When they do this, back off as
they'll unleash huge fire blasts.

This fight is all too simple, honestly. All you have to do is attack them
until they disappear temporarily. Once you make both of them disappear, a
message will appear telling you a barrier is down on a body part of Fudo-Myoou
so jump on the rock that's near the exposed body part and keep attacking it
until the armor is cracked and his bones are showing. The only dangerous part
about this is the falling rocks.

Just rinse and repeat and you'll win this fight without too much of a hassle.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating Fudo-Myoou, you'll receieve the Tsukiotoshi. Talk to everyone
and proceed to enter one last screen in which you need to talk to a few people.

After that, the credits will roll. Congratulations! You've now beaten
Momohime's story. Well, you at least got the first ending. The other endings
aren't available to you yet as you have to beat Kisuke's story if you haven't
done so.

Save your game when prompted. Now you can warp to any save shrine in the game
by talking to Kongiku. You can also forge the rest of the blades on Momohime's
side now so have fun with that.

---------------------------MURAMASA: THE DEMON BLADE---------------------------

========
Kisuke
========

NOTE: If you're starting out on Kisuke's story first, all of the information
about stuff like spirit and souls and some enemies are found in Momohime's
section.

Opening Act
(KIOA)
-----------

S1: If you're starting out with Kisuke instead of Momohime, then this screen
is pretty much all about the tutorial so use it if you need to.

S2: Grab the souls in the trees and head east.

S3: Get the souls in this area as well and keep going east.

S4: East.

S5: Farm the souls here and then grab the Healing Pellet that's sitting on the
bottom branch on the last tree.

S6: At the top east part of this area is another Healing Pellet. Grab it and
drop down to the bottom and go east.

S7: Keep going east.

S8: East some more.

S9: Enter the house here to find a Bamboo Flask x2. Exit the house and
continue on.

S10: Keep going east.

S11: Defeat the bomb tossing Ninjas here and grab the lingering souls around
here. Continue east.

S12: More bomb tossing Ninjas await you here to slice them up. Grab the souls
here as well and keep going east.

S13: Enter the house for a Healing Pellet x2. Exit and keep going east.

S14: East some more.

S15: Use the save point and enter the shrine.

S16: Talk to everyone and proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Kisuke's first boss, Kurozaru, is nothing to write home about as he's pretty
much a push over. He has a few attack patterns that are very simple to dodge.

*He'll bring his shurikens above his head and spin them around for a couple of
seconds. Roll out of the way as he'll thrust forward once and then smash
them into the ground with his next attack.

*He'll throw one of his shurikens either high or low. Just keep your distance
when you see him pull his arms back as he's about to throw on.

*He'll jump and try to land on you, causing a shockwave to come out when he
lands. Just roll or run to safety to avoid this.

That's all there is to this fight. Just run in and start slashing him. I
prefer using the normal Blade over the Long Blades because I prefer quick
attacks but if you're willing to sacrifice speed for power, then by all means
go for it. As long as you can tell when he's going to attack as you're slicing
him up and can roll to safetly, you'll win this fight easily. Like with the
Blue Monk fight in Momohime's story, there's not much strategy needed here.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating Kurozaru, you'll receive the Nagasone Kotetsu. Talk to
everyone and proceed.

S10: There's an enemy lair here you can enter but unless you've been doing some
mega grinding, I'd advise against going in it right now. Keep going west.

S11: There's a Tofu shop here if you're interested in buying... Tofu?

I wonder why the brat doesn't carry Fried Tofu. Ah well. Keep going west
and take the bridge when you come across it.

S12: Just a bit east from where you start is a Herbal Remedy. Grab the souls
in the water. If you keep going west you'll eventually run into a well. Enter
it and you'll find a handful of souls just waiting for you. Grab them, exit,
and go back to the screen you just came from.

S11: Go west this time.

S13: Grab the souls in the water and take the bridge.

S14: More souls here. Keep going east.

S15: Ignore all the doors here and examine around the lower east corner of
the area to find a Smoke Bomb. Continue east.

S16: Keep going east.

S17: Keep this barrier in mind and go back to screen 13, where you took the
most recent bridge.

S13: Go west.

S18: Keep going west.

S19: Enter the first door you come across to find Cabbage x3 and then keep
going west.

S28: Use the save point and backtrack to screen 22.

S22: Go west.

S29: Grab the souls in the water and continue west.

O-----O
| Iga |
O-----O

S1: Head west.

S2: At the trunk of the tree here is a Herbal Remedy so pick it up before
advancing further.

S3: Around the first batch of souls is a Healing Pellet so pick it up and
go west.

S4: Climb the first tre to find a Recovery Pellet. Get the souls as well and
then head on your merry way.

S5: Get the souls and ignore the enemy lair here.

S6: Jump up to the top of the first tree here to find a Smoke Bomb. There
are also some souls and a monkey here as well.

S7: Once you approach the third climbable tree, you'll find a Healing Pellet
sitting at the top waiting for you. At the split go east.

S8: Keep going east.

S9: Climb teh first tree and jump to the west to find a Recovery Pellet. Go
back to screen 7 where the split was.

S7: Go west this time.

S10: Save your game and keep going west.

S11: Jump up the last treei n the area to find a Bronze Mirror and keep going
west.

S12: Defeat the bomb tossing Ninjas and jump to the very top of the area.
Look around the east corner to find a Hinezumi Dress. Why Kisuke wears one I
don't know but then again, I'm not big on Japanese information so it might be
a normal thing. Either way go west.

S13: Head west.

S14: Keep this barrier in mind and go back to screen 12 where the bomb tossing
Ninjas are.

S12: Drop down to the bottom this time and go east.

S15: Head east.

S16: Round up the souls here and climb the first tree available and then jump
over to the west to find a Fire Charm. Now go east.

S17: Get the souls here and break the barrier to continue on.

S18: Head east.

S19: Head east.

S20: Defeat the bomb tossing NInjas and grab the Recovery Pellet that's sitting
near the end of the area.

S21: Keep going east.

S22: East some more. I swear this is like driving down a straight road for
hours.

S23: Head east and up the stairs to find a building. Enter it to find an
Amakaze then exit and go west up the stairs.

S24: Go west.

S25: West some more.

S26: Head west and enter the door here for a Smoke Bomb x3. Exit and continue
going west.

S27: Go east to find a Recovery Pellet and then go west.

S28: This area is a bit tricky as there are a mix of bomb tossing Ninjas and
Ninjas with sickles. See, you have to jump your way up to the top while
taking them out on small hanging platforms. The sickle ones are more difficult
to take down than the bomb tossing ones be careful as you go up. But before
you start your long journey upwards, head all the way west once you enter the
area and jump on the building at the end to find a Bronze Mirror.

S29: Save your game and enter the shrine.

S30: As usual, talk to everyone and then proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

You'll fight a couple of Giant Centipedes here and frankly, they're not all
that much more difficult than the first boss fight in Kisuke's story. All they
do is just float around and then sometimes speed up and turn their legs into
blades as they start running across the screen. The only other attack they
have that can hurt you is if you're standing right by their head when they open
their jaws up. Other than that it's a free for all.

You can rack up huge combos here. I was able to get a 747 Hit Combo before my
blade broke in half due to me being stupid and not switching it out before
they decided to charge. If you take out their ass or chop off their head,
they'll be stunned momentarily but moreso if you slice off the head. Those two
body parts are the only ones that regenerage so take that time to attack the
main body. Since there's more than one it'll take a bit but all in all this is
a very simplistic fight.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating the Giant Centipedes you'll get the Iganokami Kanemichi blade.
Talk with everyone to proceed.

S5: Pick up the Yam that should be nearby and then jump on the gates to find
a handful of souls. Go west some more.

S6: Remember where this barrier is and head back to screen 4 where the split
was.

going west.

S13: Another split. Go west for a Bear Pellet and then keep going west.

S14: Keep going west.

S15: Ignore the enemy lair here and keep going west.

S16: All the way to the west at the end of the beach is an Omura Stone. Go
back to screen 13 where the previous split was at.

S13: Take the other path available this time.

S17: Grab the Yam sitting under one of the gates and then get the souls on
the gates themselves before going east.

S18: Go east.

S19: Remember this barrier and go back to screen 11 where the other split was.

S11: Go east.

S20: Head east some more.

O-------O

S1: Thankfully this is a rather short area so let's get started. At the start
grab the souls and climb the last tree in the area for a Recovery Pellet and
go east.

S2: More souls and climb the last tree in this area as well to get a Fire
Charm.

S3: More souls await you here. Get them and go east.

S4: Are you sensing a theme here? Pick up the lingering souls and keep going
east.

S5: MORE souls for you to eat. Climb the last tree in the area again for a
Bear Pellet. Drop down to the bottom and take the lower east path.

S6: Head east.

S7: Defeat the bomb tossing Ninjas and jump to the top and go west.

S8: There's an enemy lair you can enter here but I wouldn't recommend doing so
unless you've been grinding like hell. Just grab the Bronze Mirror at the top
west corner of the screen and head back.

S7: Go east this time.

S9: At the top of the last tree here is another Bear Pellet. After getting it
go west.

S10: Jump up the second tree to find a Herbal Remedy. There's also a barrier
here so back to screen 5.

S5: Take the top east path this time.

S11: Scale the final tree in this area and then jump east to find an Omura
Stone. Drop down and go east.

S12: Go east.

S13: East some more.

going west.

S7: Keep in mind about the barrier here and so back to screen 4 where the split
was.

S4: Go east this time.

S8: Another split here. Joy. Take the path labeled "Go" leading deeper into
the area.

S9: Grab the Yam here and get the souls that are on the gates and keep going
east.

S10: Get the Liquor before you go east some more.

S11: Keep going east.

S12: Keep this barrier in mind and go back to screen 8 where the previous split
was.

S8: Head east this time.

S13: Grab the souls and get the Fire Charm that's on the second tree in the
area and then go east.

S14: Save your game if you haven't done so in awhile and go east.

east to find an item shop.

S17: There's a monkey here if you need it though I don't see how you would
since there was a save point a couple of screens back. At the split go east.

S18: Ignore the enemy lair here and keep going.

split was.

S17: Take the other available path this time.

S20: At the next split, go west.

going west.

S23: Keep this barrier in mind and go back to screen 20 where the split was.

S20: Go east this time.

S24: Grab the Omura Stone that's at the start. Break the barrier and enter
the second part of Mino.

S25: Head east.

S26: Go east.

S27: Enter the house for a Rice Bag x3. Exit the house and keep treading east.

S28: At the top east corner of the area is a Bear Pellet. Pick it up and drop
down to the lowest level and go east.

S29: Grab the Omura Stone here and jump to thet of the area to proceed.

S30: Keep going east.

S31: Don't go running straight ahead in this area. If you look closely at the
ground as you CAREFULLY proceed forward, you'll notice small little hills in
the ground. These are actually Bamboo Traps that will pop up and damage you if
you run over them. The best way to deal with them is to slowly walk up to one
until it pops up then destroy it. You HAVE to destroy these if you want to
complete the ball. There's a bomb tossing Ninja waiting for you at the end
as well.

S32: Enter the house for a Fox Spirit Gauntlet. Exit the house and proceed
east.

S33: There are more Bamboo Traps here so be wary as you make your way across
the area. Get the Yam along the way before continuing.

S34: Save your game and enter the shrine.

S35: Talk to everyone and proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Torahime is your opponent this time and quite honestly, this is my favorite
fight in the game. The first thing you want to do is take out the two Undead
Samurai warriors right off the bat. Once they're dead you'll notice some
bamboo sticking out of the ground as you make your way to Torahime. These are
supposed to be used as shields to block her arrows that she shoots at you.
Her attacks are as follows:

*She'll shoot an arrow high in the air well over your head and over the bamboo.

*She'll shoot an arrow that angles down to your level so hide behind the bamboo
to protect yourself.

*She'll fire multiple arrows at an angle aimed directly at you. You can either
roll past these if you're running at her or use the bamboo as a shield again.

*She'll shoot several arrows into the air and they'll rain down on you. Just
roll or find a gap between the arrows to dodge these.

*Her horse will jump in the air and cause a small shockwave. Just roll out of
the way or jump in the air to avoid it.

Now there are two ways to fight this battle. You can either play it safe and
hide behind the bamboo and wait until she stops flinging arrows for a few
seconds to blitz in and attack her or you can do it my way and be a total
badass by rushing in while jumping over her arrows and rolling past them and
then slicing her up, which is the more fun and exciting way. Once you reach
her, don't stand in front of her and jump to attack her as she might fire off
several arrows that will almost certainly break your blade in the process so
stay somewhere in the middle or a little behind her. Once you see her horse
jump in the air, get out of the way and continue attacking her. Once your take
off a bar of health, she'll fall on the ground for a few seconds so heal up or
switch blades if you need to as she's completely invulnerable in that state.

Or if you want to be a cheap ass, when she flies into the air after you knock
off her health, you can juggle her in the air with uppercuts taking off more
health and she won't even get an attack in but this takes way too long. If you
have the patience for it then by all means go for it.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After the fight you'll get the Magoroku Kanemoto blade. Talk with everyone and
then proceed to Act 4.

O--------O

We're already halfway done with this Act. A short one it is.

S1: Go east.

S2: Defeat the Toads here and at the very top of the screen resides some Toad
Oil so get it once the Toads are done for.

S3: Keep going east.

S4: Defeat the bomb tossing Ninjas and then drop to the very bottom and go
east.

S5: Go all the way to the right to find a Suiko Scale. Head back.

S4: Jump up around the midlevel and go east this time.

S6: Grab the souls here and at the very eastern end of the area on the lower
part of the screen, there's a Tiger Pellet. Pick it up and go east.

S7: Save your game and head east.

S8: Defeat the Tengus and grab the Smoke Bomb that's at the top of the tree at
the start. There are two paths here. Take the upper east path first.

S9: Grab the Pheasant that should be near you when you enter and go east.

S10: Defeat the Tengus and grab the Tiger Pellet that's laying around in this
area. Go east.

S11: Remember about this blue barrier and head back to screen 8 where those
two paths ere.

S8: Take the lower east path this time.

S12: Go east.

S13: Drop to the bottom and head east.

S14: There's a monkey here if you're hurting for some health and/or Soul Power
for any of your blades. There's also an enemy lair here that you can enter
but again, unless you've done some grinding, I'd advise entering it right now.

S15: Grab the souls here and keep going east.

S16: Jump up the tree at the start to find a Fire Charm. Break the barrier to
enter the second part of Totomi.

S17: Head east.

S18: Defeat the Tengus here and grab the Tiger Pellet at the top of the tree.

S19: Get the souls and head east.

S20: East some more.

S21: Go east some more.

S22: Grab the Herbal Remedy in this area as well as some souls and keep going
east.

S23: At the split, take the other available west path first after defeating
the bomb tossing Ninjas.

S24: Pick up the Iyo Stone here and go back.

S23: Drop down to the bottom and take the lower east path.

S25: Grab the Tengu Belt and go back.

S23: Now you can climb to the top of the area and take the last remaining path,
the upper east path.

S26: Go east once more.

S27: Save your game and enter the shrine.

S28: Talk with everyone and proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Sayo is actually more tough than she looks mainly because she has a few
widespread attacks and one attack that's really hard to dodge and/or minimize
damage due to losing Soul Power as you block. She'll do one of the following:

*Toss up some Exorcism Slips into the air. Take these out as soon as possible
as they'll soon rain lightning on you.

*She'll toss out multiple bombs. Just jump in the air to avoid the explosions.

*She'll take a quick swing with her own dagger. She can do this while she's
in the air as well.

*She'll call some crows to have her hover in the air and she'll sometimes toss
a huge bomb that will explode like a firework in the air.

*She'll summon a bunch of crows to home in on you.

The last attack is the one attack that's really hard to dodge effeciently.
Your best bet would be trying to roll away as fast as possible. If you try to
block them, they'll more than likely shatter your blade before all of them have
attacked you so hopefully you're good at parrying by rolling. The best thing
to do is blitz her and start attacking her once the battle starts but also keep
in mind that you should back off after a couple of swings because she'll also
swing her own dagger at you, knocking off some of your Soul Power if you're
still attacking when she strikes.

The Exorcism Slips take a few hits to disperse but if there are too many to
handle for you, using a Quick Draw will take care of all of them so make sure
to use your Quick Draw wisely in this fight. It's noteworthy to note that
while the bombs will hurt you pretty bad if they explode on you, they also
hurt her if she gets caught in the explosion and it takes off a nice chunk of
her health so take advantage of this.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating Sayo you'll receive the Kogarasumaru blade. Talk with everyone
and proceed to start Act 5.

Act 5

Exit Totomi entirely and make your way through Owari into Ise and then go to

S38: Save your game and enter the shrine.

S39: Talk to everyone and proceed.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

The fight against Tsuchigumo is more annoying than it is hard. The thing
about this fight is that Tsuchigumo hardly attacks you himself. In fact, the
only attack he'll do is shoot out a gaint web stream at you in hopes of
keeping you immobile so that the baby spiders will gnaw on you instead. To
top it off, Tsuchigumo wanders around frequently in this large battlefield so
finding him can be a huge pain in the ass because of the baby spiders you'll
need to dodge in the process.

While killing the baby spiders doesn't stop them from regnerating, start
killing them if they start to cluster the screen as they'll be the ones doing
most of the damage. If you get stuck in the web, quickly break free by mashing
A before the baby spiders get a chance to snack on you. Using Special Arts
such as Wind benefits greatly from this fight. As long as you can keep the
number of baby spiders to a decent amount, you should be able to take down
Tsuchigumo fairly quickly.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After the fight you'll receive the Kumokiri blade. Talk to everyone and
proceed to end Act 5.

Act 6

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Chigurui Bishamon isn't that difficult of a boss mainly because you can see
which attack he's going to unleash, giving you plenty of time to roll out of
the way as he takes a few seconds to wind up. He generally sticks to the
following:

*Souls start going into his sword. When this happens, he'll swing forward and
a shockwave type of thing will occur around him.

*Souls still start going into his chest. He'll then unleash a whirlwind
around him. Just roll out of the way to avoid this.

*He'll jump into the air and try to land on you, causing a shockwave in the
process. You should know how to dodge this kind of attack by now.

*Souls will start going into his head while he's gripping the hilt of his
sword. A tidal wave will then come out.

His fourth attack is his most dangerous attack but it's also the easiest to
dodge. How do you dodge it you ask? Do you know how to jump? Do you know how
to glide in the air? Well then there you go. Just keep attacking him and
when you see him getting ready to attack, roll out of the way or jump. It's as
easy as that. He takes so long in preparing his attack that you should more
than enough time to evade it.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

You'll receive the Osafune Kanemitsu blade after the fight. Talk to everyone
and proceed to Act 7.

The Dragon God, to me, is the most difficult boss for Kisuke's story. He's
got a nasty arsenal of attacks can do a lot of damage and easily break your
blades one by one if you're not careful which could leave you in a bind if
you don't have any Stones to heal your Soul Power. He generally does the
following:

*Shoot out multiple fireballs. Simply disperse of these by hitting them
with your blade.

*Shoot multiple fireballs at the ground causing an explosing. This can travel
quite a bit so jump in the air when you see the explosion starting to get
wider.

*Dive in and try to bite you. You can tell when he's going to do this when
some electricity shows around his body.

*Shoot a fire star at you. This will shoot off little fireballs at you and
chase you around. Run away from it to avoid it.

*An electrical star will chase you around. There's nothing you can do about
this except roll to safety.

The Dragon God starts off tame enough. He just starts hurling fireballs and
whatnot. After you take off about one or two of his health bars, he'll start
getting more fierce. The screen will blacken and he'll dive into the
background. During this stage he's completely invulnerable so you'll be on the
defensive for this part of the fight. At first he'll just shoot a fire star
at you. After you take off another health bar, he'll start firing off
electrical stars. You'll want to roll away and avoid these at all times.
These will chase you around for a good while and will finally disperse and
form a line, shooting out electricity. After that's over with he'll go back
to his normal routine. If you can survive the electrical star part, you'll
be good to go for the rest of the fight.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After defeating the Dragon God you'll get the Goro Masamune blade. Talk with
everyone and proceed to enter Kisuke's final act.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Inugami Tokugawa Tsunayoshi is a big wuss for a final boss. He has three main
arsenal of attacks. He'll either summon a handful of ghost samurais to attack
you, use some kind of brown barrier thing to teleport somewhere else and then
split into three. The ghost samurais can easily be taken out by attacking
them and when he splits into three, as long as you keep attacking him over
and over again, you'll always be hitting the right version of Inugami. Once
the battle starts just rush in and keep attacking. He's got a lot of health
but he barely does any damage so just keep attacking relentlessly. That's it.

There you go. You beat the game.

Oh, right. Did I forget to mention there's a second phase of this fight?

His second form is tougher but not too much tougher. He'll turn into a giant
puppy dog. Unfortunately you can't feed him and rub his belly so you'll have
to resort to the physical way. He may seem intimidating at first but once
you get his attack patterns down, he's quite simple. You may also notice some
vortex type things on the battlefield. If you stand in front of one then some
skeletons will come out of it and attack you so just stay away from them.
Lightning will often try to strike you from the sky but as long as you keep
moving, you'l be fine. Inugami will often teleport away as well. You'll know
when he's going to do this when his mouth opens up like he's going to eat you
and then he disappears. He'll reappear a few minutes later and either just
do nothing or a gaint black stream will come out of nowhere and start trying
to corner you. Run away from it as it's near impossible to roll by it and just
hope you have enough room to outlast it. From time to time his body will also
glow a brownish color. When this happens get the hell away from him as he'll
do an attack that covers the area he's in.

Now how to fight him? I found it to be a lot easier to jump on his back and
start attacking him from up there. Make sure to constantly move from left to
right while attacking in order to avoid the lightning bolts that come from the
sky and jump off when his body starts to glow. You'll probably have to use
some healing items but to me it's far easier to just stay on top and attack
from there. Rinse and repeat.

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

After taking down Inugami you'll receive the Mumei Tamanoo. When you regain
control, jump to the very top of the area and talk to the person waiting for
you. One more scene will occur so talk with everyone there and proceed.

Congratulations! You have beaten Kisuke's story. If you have beaten both
Momohime's and Kisuke's story, those white barriers will now be available to
break. You can also use the blades that Momohime forged, meaning all of the
blades are connected to both characters.

You can also warp from shrine to shrine just like Momohime.

===================
6.) Bosses
===================

Momohime
(MOBO)
--------

Opening Act
-----------

Act 2
-----

Act 3
-----

Act 4
-----

Act 5
-----

Act 6
-----

Act 7
-----

Final Act
---------

Kisuke
(KIBO)
------

Opening Act
-----------

Act 2
-----

Act 3
-----

Act 4
-----

Act 5
-----

Act 6
-----

Act 7
-----

----------------------------------BOSS-----------------------------------------

Final Act
---------
