Please put "Boom blox FAQ" somewhere in the email topic (the start), so I dont mistake you for some weirdo, and delete your email without looking. ------------- Introduction ------------- So this is my FAQ on Boom Blox, which I did because I have too much time on my hands, and need to start doing something productive. That and I feel bad for using GFAQs for all these years without making one myself, and I hoped Boom Blox would be a good game to do a FAQ on. My first FAQ might as well be a full one. Anyway, Im hoping to just make this as sort of a help guide, in that it tells you pretty much how to do all the puzzles in this game, and have some tips on the multiplayer stuff too. I just hope someone finds it useful. ------------------ Table of Contents ------------------ If you want to go straight to any certain section of this FAQ, use the ctrl + f thing and enter in the little set of letters to the right after that section. For instance, if you wanted to go to Expert Challenges, enter in ExC. If any of these aren't working out, please email me to let me know. Make sure you check the match case box, and you may have to switch whether it's looking up or down a bit to get to the right area, but it should all work out for you. 1.0 Version history - VH 2.0 Controls/Basic hints and such, getting started - CBGS 2.1 The Blox, and what they do - TBa 2.2 The Characters - TC 3.0 Play - PY 3.1 Training - TR 3.2 Explore - EM 3.21 Gem blox - GB 3.22 Point blox - PB 3.23 Bomb blox - BB 3.24 Vanish blox - VB 3.25 Chemical blox - CB 3.26 Grab tool - GT 3.3 Adventure - AM 3.31 Gem Kingdom - GK 3.32 Gorilda Rescue - GR 3.33 Boots n' Bandits - BnB 3.34 Haunted Night - HN 3.4 Explore Challenge - EC 3.41 Expert Challenges - ExC 3.42 Master Challenges - MC 3.5 Adventure Challenge - CA 3.51 Medieval! - CAM 3.52 Tiki! - CAT 3.53 Western! - CAW 3.54 Haunted - CAH 4.0 Party - PTY 4.1 Competitive - PVP 4.11 Throw - PvPT 4.12 Blast - PvPB 4.13 Grab - PvPG 4.14 Attack - PvPA 4.2 Cooperative - P+P 4.21 Frontier Co-op - FCp 4.22 Medieval Co-op - MCp 4.23 Tiki Co-op - TCp 4.24 Haunted Co-op - HCp 5.0 Create - CRT 6.0 Unlockables - UNLCK 7.0 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's) - QA 8.0 Legal stuff - LS 9.0 Credits/Thanks - CRDT To go to a certain section, use crtl + f to find the abbreviation. Now just adventure challenge, and competitive, and I'm done. Sort of. Still need to work out some strategies for gold, format, check for grammar... if I ever can finish this thing. 7-12-08 0.80 Finished all of the one player stuff, now I just need to get through all the competitive part levels. 8-7-08 1.00 Finally finished everything. Now I just need to read through and edit this, fine tune a bunch of strategies, do this, do that... I feel like making a FAQ is a never ending project. But I am done with version 1.0! 9-3-08 1.20 Hey, I actually am still working on this thing! I added in a few more explanatory parts, and a create mode part. Hopefully this will help people figure out how the game work better too. I also updated a few levels strategies, and hope to get more done soon. --------- Controls - CBGS --------- The controls for this game are very basic, but Ill do my best to cover them all. A button : used for selecting and item to place, copy, or erase B button : go back a screen in menu B button : hold down and point to move camera when solving puzzles Control Pad : Used for rotating items 1 button/2 button : Used for raising/lowering the camera Control stick on nunchuk : Used for moving the camera around C button/Z button nunchuk : Used for zooming in and out with the camera Grab/Throw a blox : Point the Wii mote at it and hold down A Throw : While holding down A, swing the Wii mote forward and release A. Push/Pull : Grab a blox by holding A, then move the Wii mote to move the blox in any direction. Move camera : Hold B and move Wii mote, or use the control stick on the nunchuk --------------- Tips n Tricks --------------- These are just some things that may be basic, but still help out. - When throwing, try to just flick your wrist to get a power throw so you dont wear out your arm - When pushing/pulling blox, try pulling them out sideways and then getting rid of them. DO NOT hit the pile of blox with a blox you have pulled out. (Thanks to skullgon for helping me figure this out) - On a push/pull mission, if part or all of a blox stack is falling, just try to grab each of the falling blocks by tapping A on it, and then going for another blox. This can be the difference between getting a medal and failing a puzzle sometimes. - Gravity effects your throws too-when throwing big items (bombs and bowling balls), they start to curve down after awhile, so aim a bit higher for those longer shots. - The skeletons move slower than the grim reaper guys (for the mitten kitten missions), but they attack the blox faster and tear through them more quickly. - If you are having trouble with keeping the ghosts at bay with only a baseball, just throw as many baseballs as fast as you can. If anyone else has any more tips, or I come up with some more, Ill add them in. ----------------------- Playing the first time ----------------------- The first time you play, just select a profile, enter in a name for it, and chose the blox you want to represent you. The blox doesnt effect your profile at all (I think), so just pick whatever one you like. They I recommend you start with training to learn the basics, and then you can do what you feel like. ------------ The Blox- TB ------------ Here I'm just going to cover every blox and in the game, explain what they do, what they look like, and add in what to use them for or something else about them. Normal Blox - This looks like a regular, brown, wooden block. They don't do anything special, and come in all kinds of shapes and sizes. Usually these guys are there as parts of the structure, but aren't really anything special. You don't need to worry about these much. Immovable/Immobile blox - These things look like regular blox, they're just a little greyer. They can float in the air, and nothing (and I mean NOTHING) can make them move. Even gravity is powerless against these mighty blox. These blox really are there purely to give other blox support. Usually your knocking blox off of these. They are good for supports in create mode. Gem Blox - These blox look like a big blue piece of glass to me, but they are apparently gems of some sort. Usually your trying to get all of these blox to fall to the ground. Instead of focusing on hitting each one off, try taking out the supports for whatever is holding them up to get them all to topple. Point Blox - These yellow blox earn you whatever point amount is on each side of them. Your usually trying to knock these off, sometimes into a multiplier. Like the gem blox, you usually want to take out whatever is supporting these things to get a lot to fall at once. Minus Point Blox - These greyish blox take away whatever point amount they have on their side. Try to avoid hitting these things, or whatever is holding them up so that they don't fall to the ground and cost you some points. Bomb Blox - A red blox with a picture of a bomb with its fuse lit on each side. These go off if hit with a thrown object or another explosion sets it off. I believe that all size bomb blox have the same blast range away from their point, but larger ones have a larger effect, but still effect the same range away from where they are. Not sure though, it's mostly theory. These guys are great for getting things to either fall, or make a lot of blox scatter. Chemical Blox - These green blox don't do much until they connect with a fellow chem blox. Then they pretty much act as bomb blox that have been set off. You can only get chem blox to explode if they connect with another chem blox, and that works for only one pair. So you cannot get three chem blox to all blow each other up. Vanish Blox - These purple swirly blox dissapear when hit or and explosion would hit them. They usually cause chain reactions of a sort when they vanish, so make them dissapear. Multi-Hit Vanish Blox - These grey, concrete looking blox take three hits (whether it be from undead, bombs, or baseballs) to dissapear. No more, no less. These are usually used to try and hold off the undead. If your trying to knock things off of them, try to make them fall before they dissapear, unless you have lots of explosives handy. Fragile Blox - You don't see these blox much. A little doesn't do much to them, but hit them hard enough and they will break. I see these so rarely, I would say treat them like a multi-hit vanish blox. Cloud Blox - These white, sort of transparent blox will float up unless you weigh them down with something. Usually you can move some blox on top of them to keep them grounded. They don't show up often, and usually you can just focus on a few you must keep down. Ice Blox - These light blue blox let things slip and slide around a lot more. Anything the would slide a bit now slides a lot. I would say be careful around these blox. Move the blox you want to move far with hard throws, and those you want to stay still better not get any momentum, or they'll go far. Firework Blox - These blox have a picture of a firework on the side, and thats what they are. If you have an explosion set them off, they will go whichever way the firework points. These usually are there to be set off for some reason, so start blowing up anything and everything near them. Jingle Blox - These blox emit a note when hit, depending on their color. I don't think you ever encounter them outside of create levels, but go ahead and let your inner musician use them to make a level with its own tune to it. Vanish Point blox - These light purple blox will earn you points when hit, and vanish. Usually you just go right for these blox, and you'll be fine. Minus Vanish Point Blox - These dark purple blox will make you lost whatever point value they are assigned when hit If I forgot/missed any blox, please let me know! Anyway, time for... -------------- The Characters - TC -------------- In this section I will describe each characters appearance and what it does. Sherman Woolington III - A sheep that doesn't really do anything. Usually just there for decoration for whatever reason. Pretty useless. Duke of Woolington - An armored sheep that marches towards any Babadoos, which I'm pretty sure they can't do anything too. If your dealing with these guys, your probably trying to save them from certain doom. Bruiser Browning - A bear. He tries to take gem blox, then walk off with them and burn them. If you want to take care of them, just hit them with some thrown object and they'll be gone. Lord Browning - An armored bear that also tries to take any and all gem blox to the nearest fire to burn them. Beside the fact he has armour, he doesn't seem any different than the regular Brownings. Get rid of him with some thrown objects or explosions. Zero Bandito - A masked little... raccoon? I'm not entirely sure what these guys are. Anyway, they move fast and also try to grab gem blox and burn them. Take out these guys first, since they are much more dangerous than a few of the browning bears. Sir Babadoo - This armoured monkey will take out any sheep by throwing bowling balls at them. Save the hopeless sheep by hitting these guys with an explosion or some weapon you have handy. Gorilda Gert - This ape looking character will walk towards the baby gerts to try and get to them. However, it will walk straight towards the babies, often killing itself unless you save it. Baby Gert - A baby ape in a diaper. Just sits there waiting for mommy to come. Doesn't do anything past that. Mooga - A masked dancing tiki thing that if it gets too close to a gorilda, makes it vanish. They can be taken care of with the usual throw or explosion. Booga - A masked dancing tiki that only dances. Poses no threat, just there for decoration. Ooga - A maskless tiki guy. Dances around while waving. Again, a harmless piece of scenery. Betsy Moo - A cow. Just stands there mooing, not doing anything. Usually you have to protect these cows from the babadoos. They just stand there, mooing. Baby Moos - Another cow that is now smaller and in a diaper. They are equally useless, just sitting there doing absolutely nothing of any consequence. Boots Beaverton - A mustachioed beaver in a cowboy hat that enjoys blowing up bomb blox. He can be useful for setting up chain reactions. Doc Babadoo - This mustachioed monkey in a cowboy hat just throws baseballs at everyone (usually cows). They usually spawn on little white blow with a star on them, which if taken care of, takes care of the monkey supply. They are like every other character--a throw or explosion takes care of them. Mitten Kittens - These little cats will (slowly) wander towards the nearest pumpkin blox or gem blox. Your usually trying to protect these helpless little kittens, so try and take out any of their enemies. Buster Maguff - This dog will stand in one place throwing baseballs at any undead creatures. Try to just make sure he doesn't get hurt and let him do his thing, since he can make your life a lot easier. Skully McGill - This skeleton will walk towards and try to eat any kittens, and I think babies too. A hit from anything will make him vanish. Walls will slow him down, but he tears through them quickly. Gurgless Grimm - This grim reaper type character will walk towards and destroy any kittens or (I think) babies. A hit takes him out, and walls slow him down more since he takes longer to whack at them. Dante Babadoo - This monkey in a stereotypical demon outfit will throw chem blox at other chem blox to blow things up, or at any innocent bystanders. Try to take care of him quickly, or you'll have some big problems. Biff O' Wiggins - This bear looking guy will throw bomb blox at any nearby blox. He can cause some damage if you set things up right. Buckley Beaverton - A beaver that can set off both bomb blox and chem blox. Pretty much a non-western version of boots beaverton. How he sets off chem blox remains a mystery. Dirk Tufftooth - Throws baseballs at everyone. Just an angry bulldog I guess. You can take him out with throws or explosion, just like everyone else. Cody P. Schmee - A koala that stands around looking at things. Doesn't do much. Part of the scenery I guess. Wrinkles Peasley - An old dog that wanders around the level, slowly. Just part of the scenery again. Liberty Poppins - A penguin that lays ice blox instead of eggs. Maybe you can use those for something... whatever it is, I don't know! Pendleton Puff - I think this guyu looks like a panda. Anyway, these things lay cloud blox that will float up for awhile. Maybe you could have the cloud blox push things into place for you. Marion McCluck - A chicken that lays bomb blox. If you set off any of those bombs, you'll likely lose this chicken, but hey, you get to blow things up! Stinkerton Potts - A skunk that lays chem blox. If you want to keep using these chem blox, I suggest you blow them up well away from Mr. Stinker here, or you'll cut off your supply. ---- Play - PY ---- --------- Training - TR --------- Training is just what it sounds like learning how to play the game. The missions are all very simple, so this should be a quick section. Since Im pretty sure you have to get gold medals on every training mission, I will not have any medal requirements here. Throw Em You get to learn the common action of throwing things. Its pretty simple. Try to practice getting power throws, and just aim your cursor at the gem blox. I recommend aiming towards at the bottom of the towers, since good hits there make more gem blox fall. The game measures the Wii-mote speed when you release A to determine the speed of the throw (I think), so try just flicking your wrist so you dont wear out your arm. See Em Unlocked by: Get a medal on Throw Em Another simple one. Just hold b, and point with the Wiimote to indicate the direction you want to turn things. You can go up down and around. Once you look around, hit the point blox off their stands and your done. Blast Em Unlocked by: Get a medal on See Em Again, piece of cake. Aim for one of the bomb blox, and throw. I recommend the big bomb blox, since its easy to hit. Setting off the reaction (hitting a bomb blox) will finish this stage, no problem. Pop Em Unlocked by: Get a medal on Blast Em Another easy one. Just throw a ball at and hit the huge vanish blox and it will vanish, and you finish the stage. Match Em Unlocked by: Get a medal on Pop Em This one is pretty simple. Just hit the small chemical blox into the big one. As long as you dont hit the small chem. blox really low, it should hit the big one, and the rest will take care of itself. Wreck Em Unlocked by: Get a medal on Match Em This is a little different now you grab a blox of your choice, and swing it around to knock the others. Just grab whatever you like and shake it around. Personally, Im no too good at controlling where the things go when I grab them, so just go crazy. If you want, just drop the blox you have, pick up a new one, and start wrecking again. This stage should be easy, just clear everything away. Pull Em Unlocked by: Get a medal on Wreck Em This skill is probably the one that needs steady hands the most (I personally sort of fail at it). You select a block, and carefully pull it out by pulling the Wiimote back. Personally, I stink at this, but just pull the blox out. If if the minus point ones hit the ground, you have to get a gold medal, so it doesnt really matter if you do bad or not. For completing Pull Em, and training mode as a whole, you unlock being able to use Medieval forest in create mode. -------- Explore - EM Unlocked by: Completing training -------- Well this mode isnt too bad, though some of the puzzles can be a bit frustrating at times, since it takes pinpoint precision to get them, I hope this helps get a gold medal on all of them (if anyone has any alternative strategies to a level they think are much better, email me (I dont check it a ton, but Ill try to every week or so). If I think your hint is valid (not just the same thing differently worded), Ill put it in here and give you the credit you have earned. --------- Gem blox - GB --------- As a note, the * by a medal indicates what medal the strategy I have should get you. If anyone has a strategy to get a medal higher than the one I have posted, please email me and let me know. Warrior Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw This one isnt too bad. If ever in doubt, aim low (In this game at least). For this one, take out the warriors waist (where the two legs join, in between the sword and shield). It should work pretty well no matter how you hit it (As long as you can get a strong throw if you cant practice, since thats very essential to this game.) If taking out the waist doesnt work, try taking the waist out from behind, which works very well. Just give the thing some time to collapse never hit some blox you want to collapse if theyre moving. Teeter Totter Unlocked by: Get a medal on Warrior Bronze: 5 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Rotate around so your looking right at the big blox (as close to it as you can get), and hit it in near the middle, and it should fall on the wood blox, tilt it down, and cause all the other gem blox to fall down. This may take a try or two to get in one throw, since the big blox can not fall right, and not have all the gem blox fall down. Golfer Unlocked by: Get a medal on Teeter Totter Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Rotate the camera so your looking straight at the bigger gem blox, and have obscured the tower of smaller gem blox, and nail the big gem blox in the middle. This should knock off all the blox in one shot, they lining up the shot may be a bit tricky at first. Tower Unlocked by: Get a medal on Golfer Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 1 throw For this one, rotate the camera so your looking at one of the towers at the end of the group so the the second to last level blox are straight back away from you (they should look like their just a square, and dont extend back.). Then throw a baseball right at the blox second from the bottom on the side facing the other blox towers. This should cause all four to fall like dominoes. Boulder Unlocked by: Get a medal on Tower Bronze: 5 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw For this stage, turn the camera so your looking at the two low and diagonally. Sort of behind the box of a lot of small gem blox, but not quites. Then aim for the small square blox underneath the long plank ones that are like a teeter totter. Try to line up the shot so when you hit the square blox, it will take out its partner on the other setup. If you successfully take out both of those, the structures should both collapse. This shot can be tricky to get right, and it may take a few tries to get gold for this puzzle. For completing Boulder, you unlock the bowling ball, which can can use in create mode now. Stronger Unlocked by: Get a medal on Boulder Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw An easy one. Just nail the block of gem blox low and towards the middle of one side, and it should knock them all off. This one may not work your first try, since the physics of this game are different by just a bit nearly every time. Bowler Unlocked by: Get a medal on Stronger Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Rather than throw right away, rotate the camera around so that one of the planks on the side is level to the top of the immovable blox/bottom on the pins. The nail the plank right about where the second to last row of pins comes down, and it should knock out all the pins for you. House of gems Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bowler Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw I cant find a specific blox that if removed makes this whole things topple, but I recommend aiming low and taking out the base parts. I usually make it so two parts of the base make a V towards me, and aim for the middle of the V. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesnt. This is one level where luck helps when going for a gold medal. I didn't come up with this one, it was SithCommando, and it pretty much guarantees you a gold medal. Now, you see that big gem blox on top? Just below it is a blox that is longer on one side so it looks like a square, but then it looks like a rectangle on the other side. Rotate the camera so your level with this blox, and looking straight at one of the square, bigger sides. Hit it near the middle as hard as you can, and you should get gold. Stained Glass Unlocked by: Get a medal on House of gems Bronze: 4 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 2 throws On your first throw, aim for one of the bottom corners of the big gem blox. Then use your second throw to nail the opposite corner (or if the big gem blox is gone, aim for where the opposite corner would be at the start of the level), which should cause all five blox to fall out. FinE Art Unlocked by: Get a medal on Stained Glass Bronze: 4 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 1 throw Just hit either end of the long bottom plank, and the whole thing should come crashing down. For completing the level FinE Art, you unlock being able to use the Cloud Blox in create mode. ----------- Point blox - PB ----------- Remember, a * means thats the medal the strategy should get you. Edgy Bronze: 60 points Silver: 80 points *Gold: 100 points Line up your shots at a point block so your looking right at it, then aim for the number in its middle and throw. Youll pretty much need strong throws to have a hope in this section. Just take out all the point blox on the side first (I do top to bottom), then take out the two on the higher level. In a Pinch Unlocked by: Get a medal in Edgy Bronze: 40 points Silver: 60 points *Gold: 70 points Start by diagonally lining up a shot at the blox on top, and hitting them off. Then look at the long straight point blox on the side diagonally (from the middle) and aim for the point numbers on their short sides this should knock them and the blox below them off. If the blox below hang around, then hit them diagonally too. For the last one, look straight at the long wooden blox its on, hit that, and the last point blox should tumble down. Prison Break Unlocked by: Get a medal in In a Pinch Bronze: 10 points Silver: 30 points *Gold: 40 points Look through one of the openings opposite the open side, and hit the blox farther out by knocking them in the middle, top one first. Then do the same thing for the pair of blox farther from the opening. Precision is key here, so you dont accidentally knock down one of the minus point pillars. Step Down Unlocked by: Get a medal in Prison Break Bronze: 10 points Silver: 30 points *Gold: 50 points Work you way from top to bottom here. Just look straight at all the blox, aim for their number, and hit them top to bottom. When your hitting the bottom level of point blox, try and hit out the side you hit out second on the above level first, so that top minus point blox doesnt slide off on you. Break Point Unlocked by: Get a medal in Step Down Bronze: 30 points Silver: 40 points *Gold: 50 points Start out by looking right at the top two point blox and knocking them out. Then do the same for the point blox on the bottom. Once things are stable again, hit out the two point blox left, looking right at them, one at a time. Make sure your shots wont knock them into the minus blox, and accidentally knock it off. Plumber Unlocked by: Get a medal in Break Point *Bronze: 150 points Silver: 160 points Gold: 170 points This ones a doozy. I dont have anything step by step (maybe some day when Im really really bored), but try to hit the point of the point blox sticking out, and avoid the minus point blox. When you have a bunch sitting at the bottom, just knock the point blox with throws from above until they are a bit on their own, and you can blast them off. After a try or two bronze shouldnt be too hard. For completing Plumber, you unlock the laser, which you can use in create mode. Step up again Unlocked by: Get a medal in Plumber Bronze: 50 points Silver: 60 points *Gold: 70 points Work your way from top to bottom, and just aim well. Dont take out too many blox on one side, or the minus ones will fall and make you lose points. Quick Draw Unlocked by: Get a medal in Step up again Bronze: 700 points Silver: *900 points Gold: 1,050 points Hard to give you any specifics, but just aim right at the front of the blox as they come along, or you may wind up shooting behind them. As a note, you dont have to get every blox to get a gold. I missed a few, got 1,025, but couldve probably gotten over 1,100 if I got the two 50s at the end. So just go for the big point blox, and practice. Cannon Clash Unlocked by: Get a medal in Quick Draw Bronze: 1,000 points Silver: *1,200 points Gold: 1,500 points Like Quick Draw, not a lot of specifics. Aim at the front of the blox so you dont shoot behind them. Watch for the cannons in the back to shoot out 50s, and try to nail those. Try and hit as many blox as soon as they appear, since midair collisions can make a perfect shot not hit anything, and are just plain annoying for me. For completing the puzzle Cannon Clash, you unlock the vanish point blox, which you can use in create mode. ---------- Bomb blox - BB ---------- Remember, a * indicated the medal the strategy should get you. Minefield Bronze: 10 points Silver: 420 points *Gold: 440 points Hit one of the bomb blox towers in one of the four corners. The chain reaction should get you all the point blox except the two in the middle. Use your last throw to knock down the long, thin blox theyre on, and they should come tumbling down too. Bomb Barn Unlocked by: Get a medal in Minefield Bronze: 40 points Silver: 60 points *Gold: 100 points You can either throw while looking straight at the point blox on top, or the regular blox in the corners. If you hit either one with your first throw, you should see a (or part of) bomb blox. Nail it, and the whole thing should blow up. Bomb Push Unlocked by: Get a medal in Bomb Barn Bronze: 10 points Silver: 30 points *Gold: 70 points With your first throw, look straight at the regular blox behind the bomb blox, and hit it, pushing the bomb blox closer to the large box. Then hit the bomb blox, and the whole thing should get blown up. Bomb Cascade Unlocked by: Get a medal in Bomb Push Bronze: 230 points Silver: 250 points *Gold: 270 points Set it up so your looking at the level from the side. Then hit the little bomb blox closer to all the point blox at the bottom of the tower of bomb blox. Once you finish your throw, set up a throw a bit to the left of all the point blox. When the bomb bloxs fall, hit them in midair. If you dont want to do that, wait until all the bomb bloxs are on the ground, and hit one, taking out the point bloxs supports. Sliding Bomb Unlocked by: Get a medal in Bomb Cascade Bronze: 150 points Silver: 180 points *Gold: 200 points Look at the whole thing from the side with the bomb blox. Hit the small bomb blox at the end of the normal blox. When the big bomb blox has slip near the middle of the remaining point blox (It will keep sliding, so be ready) nail it and blow away all the point blox. Flying Bombs Unlocked by: Get a medal in Sliding Bomb Bronze: 160 points Silver: 200 points *Gold: 210 points Look at the level so that the little bomb blox and the big tall blox are near the bottom left. Then hit the little bomb blox holding up the big regular blox. It will fall, launching the other bomb blox into the air. As soon as you hit the little bomb blox holding up the big blox, turn the camera so your looking right at the wall of point blox. Then when the cluster of bombs is near the middle of the point blox wall, throw, hit one, and you should get a gold. More Flying Bombs Unlocked by: Get a medal in Flying Bombs Bronze: 360 points Silver: 400 points *Gold: 440 points Just stick with the starting camera angle here. Hit the big bomb blox on the right. Get a shot ready in the middle of the three things of point blox. When the bomb blox fly up there, throw and hope you hit one. If you do, the explosion should take out all of the point blox. For completing More Flying Bombs, you unlock the Bomb Ball, which you can now use in create mode. Bomb Push 2 Unlocked by: Get a medal in More Flying Bombs Bronze: 80 points Silver: 160 points *Gold: 800 points Easy. Just throw a bomb at the middle of the top of one of the tall point blox while looking straight at the side. Im sure there are plenty of other ways to do this level, but this one works. Trojan Pony Unlocked by: Get a medal in Bomb Push 2 Bronze: 20 points Silver: 90 points *Gold: 120 points Turn the camera so your looking diagonally down into the ponys stomach, and throw your bomb. The reaction should cause the whole thing to collapse (or the parts worth points at least). This one may take a couple throws to get right. Pile it on Unlocked by: Get a medal in Trojan Pony Bronze: 100 points Silver: 360 points *Gold: 370 points Line it up so your looking right at the part below the huge point blox, with a bunch of little bloxs keeping the long ones up. Then throw a bomb in the middle of the four little parts, aiming in the middle, at the top of the upper pair of blox (the bomb will fall down). Then when the bomb is in the middle of the tower, make it explode with A. It may take a couple tries to get the timing down. Weak Wall Unlocked by: Get a medal in Pile it on Bronze: 280 Points Silver: 290 points *Gold: 300 points. Look at the wall from above (a birds eye view) and hit the big bomb blox in the middle, where the two walls meet. If you hit it, you should get all the points. For completing Weak Wall, you unlock the use of the Fireworks Blox in create mode. ------------ Vanish Blox - VB ------------ Haunted Skyscraper Bronze: 75 points Silver: 150 points *Gold: 280 points Just hit that big purple vanish blox, and all the point blox should come tumbling out for you. Wedged in Unlocked by: Get a medal in Haunted Skyscraper Bronze: 20 points Silver: 40 points *Gold: 90 points Line it up so your looking at the stack in the middle. Then aim for the seam between the long thin vanish blox and one square one next to it. Then do the same on the other side. If you manage to make two vanish blox appear with either throw, the whole thing should fall down. Falling bomb Unlocked by: Get a medal in Wedged in Bronze: 300 points Silver: 450 points *Gold: 600 points Look at the puzzle from the side. Then take out the vanish blox at the base of the blox tower with the bomb on top. Then set up a shot near the big point blox box, and let a throw loose when the bomb blox is getting close. Your going to have to anticipate where the bomb blox will be, and this may take a try or two. Slots Unlocked by: Get a medal in Falling bomb Bronze: 600 points Silver: 800 points *Gold: 1,080 points This is an easy one. Just take out each of the purple vanish blocks holding up the bomb blox, then hit any one of the four to have them all take care of the point blox. Towering fries Unlocked by: Get a medal in Slots Bronze: 160 points Silver: 200 points *Gold: 240 points This one takes some luck. Ive got two strategies so far. One is to look right at the blox on top of one of the two middle towers, and hitting it right on the edge of the blox, and sending those flying into the two next to it, and doing that twice. The other is to take out the second from the bottom blox on one of the side towers so it falls on the middle one, and have your throw bounce right so it takes out the other tower on the side. There are videos on youtube for this level, but if anyone finds a more consistent strategy, please let me know. For completing Towering fries, you unlock the rubber ball for use in create mode. Box car Unlocked by: Get a medal in Towering fries Bronze: 60 points Silver: 90 points *Gold: 120 points This one may take some luck too, but just look diagonally into the opening from the left or right, and aim for the same level as near the top of the vanish blox. Do that for the other side, and it should work most of the time. Upstairs Unlocked by: Get a medal in Box car Bronze: 80 points Silver: 120 points *Gold: 160 points This takes some luck too. Just look into the place diagonally and down this time, so the ball should bounce up to the upper levels. Do that aiming in each direction, and it should work out fine. Three flat Unlocked by: Get a medal in Upstairs Bronze: 80 points Silver: 120 points *Gold: 160 points This one takes luck too. To get that stack on the top floor, throw it in from the left and from above. Then for the lower level stacks, throw one in from the right off the wall right before it drops down, and it should work. For completing Three flat, you unlock the fragile blox for use in create mode. -------------- Chemical blox - CB -------------- Beakers Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Hit the vanishing blox in the middle, and the resulting explosion will take care of the rest of the level for you. Momentum Unlocked by: Get a medal in Beakers Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Look straight at the vanish blox, then hit the seam between the two. The pair should vanish, causing the explosion that lets you win. Chem towers Unlocked by: Get a medal in Momentum Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Look at the puzzle from the side, then hit the blox third from the bottom on the tall tower thats closer to the small tower. The two should knock each other over. Green punch Unlocked by: Get a medal in Chem towers Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Look straight at the long row of gem blox with the chem. blox at one end of the row. Try to have it so you can just see over the row (look right at it). Then throw right in between the two gem blox on top of the row, and the resulting moves should set off an effective chain reaction. Chemical jug Unlocked by: Get a medal in Green punch Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1throw Look right at that lone chem. block on a stand, then make it so your looking at it as low as possible. Aim for where the two wood blox below it meet it, in the middle. If you launch it right, it should hit the big upper chem. blox, and drop two chem. blox down on the lower chem. blox. Kick stand Unlocked by: Get a medal in Chemical jug Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Look right at that lone chem. blox on a stand so that you see the stack of blox holding up the big wood blox. Then hit the chem. blox so it takes out the support of the big blox, and hits the chem. blox behind that. The rest of the course should blow itself up. Reaction Unlocked by: Get a medal in Kick stand Bronze: 4 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 2 throws Look right at one of the corner towers, and hit the third from the bottom chem. blox closer to the middle of the puzzle. This should take out some towers, then do the same for another corner tower (wherever there are more towers). This may not work now and then, since you rely on the physics of the game working for you. Line up Unlocked by: Get a medal in Reaction Bronze: 5 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 3 throws For the first shot, use that 1x1 chem blox by the 3x3 gem blox cube, line it up so that the wood blox is near the base of the whole structure floating in the air opposite it. Make sure you hit it near the center. Then use the chem. blox on top of the tower of gem blox on the cube opposite it. Line it up so your looking right at the blox, and you cant see the upper/lower immobile blox. Aim for the center again. For the last tower of gem blox, use the 1x1 chem blox below the cube of gem blox you just destroyed. Line it up so it is a straight line to the chem. blox under the tower as low as the camera will allow. Hit the center. If you get all these shots right, you get gold. This one may take a little practice, since precision is key. For completing Line up, you unlock the use of the fire house in create mode. Chemical rinse Unlocked by: Get a medal in Line up Bronze: 0:01seconds left Silver: 0:20 seconds left Gold: 0:26 seconds left Rotate the camera down so your looking straight at the middle of the structure, then start. Blast side to side on the main wall for a second, the go for the right tower. Try to aim for the chem. blox in the top left of the tower so it hits the chem. blox behind it to make it go faster. After that, spray the middle a bit as needed, and then do the same thing to the tower on the right. Try to do this as fast as you can, since you only have a few seconds. Hose practice Unlocked by: Get a medal in Chemical rinse Bronze: 30 points Silver: 70 points *Gold: 80 points Look straight at the blox in the middle, and squirt it near the middle with the hose. It should take out the main chem. blox in the middle, no problem. Repeat this with the chem. blox on the side, but aim for the thicker chem. blox, since those ones hold the points. Chemical golf Unlocked by: Get a medal in Hose practice Bronze: 40 points Silver: 60 points *Gold: 90 points This ones a pain. I cant give many specifics here. Try and line up your shots so you just have to hit the chem. blox in the middle. Its a lot of trial and error here of getting the shots just right. Try to just do a quick spurt to fire each one, and trying the hit the chem. blox once they leave the podium is usually a waste of hose. Just use short spurts, and try to get your shots right. GodTurtle decided to help me out, and came up with some tips for how to get gold on this level. Thanks to him for coming up with this, because I doubt I ever would've figured this out. I'm going to go ahead and just call the block on the "tee" the ball. It's late and I'm having trouble finding a better word. 1. Short bursts. With the exception of situation "B" (below,) you should be barely tapping the button. With quick taps I seem to typically use 2 shots. 2. Start with the far left and right corners. If you don't clear them in the first few shots just restart. It's always best to tackle the hard parts first. 3. Those corner blocks are hardest because the line between the corner blocks and the ball lies on the ball's edge. No matter how hard you try it isn't possible to hit the ball exactly on the edge and drive it into the corner block. It will always go to the left or right. To get around this, drop the camera all the way down and hit the "ball" on the bottom where it connects with the tee . If you hit the ball it will either: A. Shift slightly on the tee. (this is preferred) B. Fly in the air. (may as well try to make something work) Depending on the situation: A. If it shifted slightly on the tee, the edge of "the ball" and the target are no longer directly in alignment. You can actually line up a shot from here. It will take a bit of skill, but if you've gotten this far you should be used to it. B. Assuming the block is flying within the range of the target, hold down "A" and try to kick it into your target. You'll burn quite a few shots here, but with how hard the corner blocks are it is worth the cost. Green gush Unlocked by: Get a medal in Chemical golf Bronze: 60 points Silver: 80 points Gold: 120 points To get a gold on this one, be looking straight at one of the towers and be low. Hose down the chem. blox, and wait for the point blox to pop up. When it does, aim for the bottom of it. Once it starts spinning, as long as your hitting it low, it should move up and through the 4x point thing. Do this three times, and your done. For completing Green gush, you unlock the use of the ice blox on create mode. ---------- Grab tool - GT ---------- Castle grab Bronze: 0:01 seconds left Silver: 0:15 seconds left Gold: 0:23 seconds left Move the camera so your looking right at a chem. blox. Start and grab it, and swing it into another chem. blox ASAP. Do this once or twice, and enough chain reactions should create themselves to make the thing fall apart. Soft pull Unlocked by: Get a medal in Castle grab Bronze: 4 points Silver: 7 points Gold: 10 points Forget about pulling soft. You can pull things out two ways IMO. You either look right at it if its out on the side and pull it out to the outside, then let it drop. Then do that for the other side so you work your way to the middle. Then for the middle ones, look at it from the side, and pull it out. Pull it out the opposite direction of whichever direction the minus block is centered (if its towards the right, pull the blox out to the left). Work this whole thing top to bottom. Once you get the hang of yanking out blox, its easier. Simple push Unlocked by: Get a medal in Soft pull Bronze: 14 points *Silver: 26 points Gold: 34 points I have yet to gold this one, but heres my basic strategy. Start at the top for now. Pull out one corner (start with one with more than one blox), pull out the opposite corner. Then quickly pull out the other two. Repeat for each level, getting each corner down to one blox each time. Also, balance how often you make the cows platform tilt a certain way. If you make it left, left, left, then the cow will fall. If its left, right, left, right, then the cow will fall less often. Keep deconstructing this thing. If you pull out well and balance things out right, in theory you can get gold, though I have yet to do it. Pinching Unlocked by: Get a medal in Simple push Bronze: 40 points Silver: 50 points Gold: 70 points Grab one of the two blox on top and swing it into the other, knocking both clean off. Then, looking in diagonally, grab that point blox in the middle. Try to pull it out so that it takes out the other two point blox on one side with it. Then use your last grab to lift the supporter for the remaining pair, and bring the two crashing out. This can be tricky to do without knocking out any minus point blox. High horse Unlocked by: Get a medal in pinching *Bronze: 19 points Silver: 24 points Gold: 29 points. I havent done to well on this level yet, so any improved strategies are welcome. Anyway, stat by removing the four corner pillars that stand up tall and skinny in the middle, as well as the blox that fall after theyre removed. The take out the two blox on the edges of the bottom. I personally look at the from the side, and slide them out. Then start working from the top down. Take out a blox on the outside then do the opposite side, etc. However, make it so theres only one tall pillar when you pull out all the blox above the tall pillars. Having too many in lets the minus blox fall of of this one is tricky and likely will take a LOT of practice to get a gold on. Disassemble Unlocked by: Get a medal in High horse *Bronze: 15 points Silver: 20 points Gold: 35 points Again, havent been too good on this level. Make it so your looking right at a side of the structure. Then start and pull out all of the outer pillars standing up. The slide the pillars on their side closer to the top out. Try to make a whole level vanish below the center blox with the cow on it, and then take out the four pillars supporting it, opposite corners for the first two, and then really fast for the second two. Then just slide out more pillars like before. This, if you pull out alright, should get you a bronze. Sparkplug Unlocked by: Get a medal in Disassemble Bronze: 30 point Silver: 40 points *Gold: 50 points You only have two grabs here, and five blox to knock out for a gold. Grab the lower of the two blox on top and thrust it up right away, then drop it. That should take care of the top pair. Then pull out the point blox on the bottom with a quick yank, but hold onto it. Then let it settle down, and swing it into the other point blox left. Doing this without hitting the minus point blox will take some practice. Another strategy is to take out the two in the middle by grabbing one and having it slam the other away with it. If your lucky enough to not have the tower fall, then grab the bottom point blox out with a quick yank out, let it settle down, and knock off the pair on top. For completing Sparkplug, you unlock the use of the tennis ball in create mode. Pull it off Unlocked by: Get a medal in Sparkplug *Bronze: 21 points Silver: 35 points Gold: 43 points I dont have much here. Just yank out some of the pillars and other parts in the middle that dont really support anything, then start working from the top down. Pull the blox out fast and look at the from the side. Keep track of where the cow is, since you can let its platform slant a lot if you balance how much it slants each direction. Teeter tower Unlocked by: Get a medal in Pull it off *Bronze: 35 points Silver: 40 points Gold: 50 points Another one I dont really know how your supposed to actually get a gold medal on. I start by looking the one side from above and kind of diagonally. There are four structures sticking out on their own on each side. Dismantle them using the good old top to bottom theory. Be forewarned, when you get to the two blox on either side of a longer blox, taking one off will cause the other two to fall off. I recommend yanking one of the upper blox off, then just touching the other two as they fall. Once you take out all four of those structures (order doesnt matter since they dont seem to affect the tower), look at the bottom of structure from one side. You should see the base (a bunch of blox standing up like pillars), and some blox sticking out near the top of it to the side with other blox standing up on them in a pair of two. Remove all of those pairs of blox. Your still a few blox short of bronze at this point, so I recommend working from the top down to try and get as many more blox as possible, and maybe even a silver medal. Gridlock Unlocked by: Get a medal in Teeter tower Bronze: 35 points *Silver: 47 points Gold: 62 points This level is actually not as bad as it looks. For the levels with four blox, look straight at the blox from the side so they look really long. Then pull three out looking from that side quickly. If done fast enough that they dont disturb the podium, the cows will actually not slide down their little stand once it tilts because theres one blox left. Pull out that last blox by looking at it from the other side and doing what you did with the other three. The levels with three blox a bit different. Pull out one blox from one side, looking at its long side. Then do this on the opposite side. Then, quickly pull out the middle one. If you do this right long enough, you should be able to get a medal, though gold will be very hard since you must keep the platform on center, which is hard to do the whole time. Remember to start at the top and work your way down for all of this. Wings of Glory Unlocked by: Get a medal in Gridlock Bronze: 20 points Silver: 24 points *Gold: 27 points You dont have to get the whole structure for this one, so you can get a gold with having a hand as steady as a robot! Anyway, look at the thing from one side so that the wing blox are long and on their sides. Then slide out the blox on the outside of the sets of three in the middle for each level you can. Repeat for the other side. Then take out the other two blox that are perpendicular to the longer blox on each side for the top, and the middle, then the two on the outside on the bottom. The structure should be slowly collapsing now anyway, so yank out another blox and you should get 27. If any excess blox you were trying to grab earlier fell, yank out some more blox, and viola, you have a gold medal. For completing Wings of Glory, you unlock the use of the golf ball in create mode. For completing Wings of Glory, you unlock the use of the Multi-hit vanish blox in create mode. For completing every puzzle in explore mode, you unlock explore challenge mode. ---------- Adventure - AM Unlocked by: Completing training ---------- ------------ Gem Kingdom - GK ------------ ----------- Gem Harvest ----------- Gem tower Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Look right at that blox thats the second lowest on the tower. Hit it near the middle as hard as you can, and the whole tower should topple. For some reason this doesnt always work, but two or three tries should do it. For completing Gem tower, you unlock the use of Duke of Woolington in create mode. For completing Gem tower, you unlock the use of Sherman Woolington III in create mode. Hover manor Unlocked by: Get a medal in Gem tower Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 2 throws For your first throw, just use the starting camera angle to hit the bomb blox closer to you. This should take out all the gem blox in the middle and in the two side towers by the exploded bomb blox. Then for the second throw, look right at one of the towers remaining so the other one is mostly obscured behind it. Then aim for the middle blox in the row just below the top (where the gem blox is) in the middle. Your throw should send enough blox flying to make both gem blox on top of the towers fall, since the blox you hit should go into the far tower. Skull Keep Unlocked by: Get a medal in Hover tower Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 2 throws For your first shot, look right at one of the chem. blox that are in between a pair of the towers, and hit it in the middle so it flies into the other chem. blox. Then hit the vanishing blox at the bottom of one of the remaining towers, and it should topple over and take out the other tower with it. For completing Skull keep, you unlock the use of the Medieval Evil Tent in create mode. Rampart ruin Unlocked by: Get a medal in Skull keep Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 2 throws For your first throw, hit the vanish blox in the tall tower that has a chem. blox only right below the vanish blox(the one on the far right from where the camera starts), looking at the vanish blox from the side so its longer. The reaction that ensues should leave three towers standing. Then focus on the tower left of the one you first knocked down, based on their placement from where the camera starts. Hit the blox opposite the vanish blox by looking straight at it; do not hit the vanish blox, or the tower may not fall right. This second may reaction may not always work. Ruins of Old Unlocked by: Get a medal in Rampart ruin Bronze: 4 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Look straight at the vanish blox near the bottom of one of the towers with chem. blox near the top. Try to line up a shot that will take out both vanish blox, and take out at least one of them. The resulting toppling and explosions should take care of all the gem blox, but if you only got one of the two towers with chem. blox near the top to fall, it may not work. It can work, but it takes some luck. For completing Ruins of Old, you unlock the use of the Medieval Good Tent. Ye Olde Fort Unlocked by: Get a medal in Ruins of Old Bronze: 7 throws Silver: 6 throws *Gold: 3 throws This one isnt as bad as it looks. Look at the fort from above, and hit the big bomb blox thats in the middle. Then hit one of the smaller bomb blox on the four sides. Let the thing fall (It falls for awhile), then hit the bomb blox on the opposite side of the one you hit. If you give everything enough time to react, all of the gem blox should fall off. This is one that may not work your first try. Ye Gems Unlocked by: Get a medal in Ye Olde Fort Bronze: 4 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 2 throws Hit the vanishing blox on the tower with the bomb blox on top of it. Then let the bomb blox fall on top of the gem blox box, and blow it up. If this isnt working (1 gem isnt falling), try hitting the bomb blox as soon as it gets on top of the gem blox box. Toppling towers Unlocked by: Get a medal in Ye Gems Bronze: 4 throws Silver: 3 throws Gold: *2 throws Hit the vanishing blox near the base of the tower with a chem. blox near the top facing the tower with two bomb blox near the top, and a chem. blox in the middle. If it falls on the tower next to it, the resulting reaction should leave only one tower standing, with two bomb blox near the top. Hit either of the bomb blox to knock off the gem blox. Monolith Unlocked by: Get a medal in Toppling towers Bronze: 8 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 3 throws Start by hitting the vanish blox near the base with a blox with a gem blox on it sticking out. Nail both the vanish blox and regular blox (aim for where they meet) and have the vanish blox vanish, and the regular blox fall off. Repeat this again for the side to the right (from where the camera starts) of the first side. This usually makes the majority of the structure fall for me, letting you hit any stray gem blox that didnt fall. If the monolith doesnt fall after two throws, then do what you did with throws one and two a third time, which should finish the thing off. For completing Monolith, you unlock the Iron Chicken. For completing Monolith, you unlock the use of Biff OWiggins in create mode. For completing Monolith, you unlock the use of Good castle in create mode. For completing every mission in gem harvest with at least a silver medal, you unlock more ruins in challenge adventure. --------------- Sneaky Thieves Unlocked by: get a medal on Monolith --------------- Stealers Unlocked by: Get a medal on Monolith Bronze: 1 Gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems I recommend looking at the stage from the side, with the gems in the middle. There are only 27 enemies here, and theyre not too bad. The big ones are slow, but watch out for those little guys. If a gem is being stolen, it will turn red, so hit everything near a red gem. It doesnt matter if you kill the four sheep, as long as you keep your gems. There are some dark spots where the enemies spawn, so just lob a shot at those if you dont see anything coming. For completing stealers, you unlock the use of Bruiser Browning in create mode. For completing stealers, you unlock the use of Lord Browning in create mode. For completing stealers, you unlock the use of Zero Bandito in create mode. Gem theft Unlocked by: Get a medal in Stealers Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems Start by blowing up that tower the brownings have and getting rid of the chem. blox. Then change your camera angle so the brownings are at the bottom (behind) you, and you can see all your gems. Some zero banditos will sneak in from behind again, and theyre much faster than the brownings. Just hit the browings when they appear. If theres a large group of them, throw the bomb in the middle of the group, and the bomb should hit almost all, or all of them. For completing Gem theft, you unlock the use of medieval haycart in create mode. Ransackers Unlocked by: Get a medal in Gem theft Bronze: 1 Gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems This is where it starts to get harder. Angle the camera so you can see the middle gem blox and the four in each on the corners. I recommend being high up for this. As long as you can see the general area of a gem blox and hit anything that tries to steal it, your fine. There are too many enemies coming too fast to hit them all one at a time, so aim for the middle of large groups. The bomb has quite a blast radius, so aim in general areas with enemies, and you should be alright. If you see one of your gems being stolen, kill whatever is carrying it ASAP. Try not to throw too close to the walls, since youll destroy them and make it easier for the brownings to nab the gem blox. For completing Ransackers, you unlock the use of Medieval Cottage B in create mode. High Heist Unlocked by: Get a medal in Ransackers Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems This one isnt too bad. The enemies come from the corners or midway between the corners on the long side. Set it up so you can see all four corners of your center stronghold, and hurl bombs at the brownings. If a ton of brownings appear somewhere, use the chem. blox. Aim in between where the brownings come from, since the bombs big blast radius is a lifesaver here. Kidnap Keep Unlocked by: Get a medal in High Heist Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems The brownings spawn in similar areas here as in High Heist. Aim away from your castle here, because the chem. blox explosion can lead you very vulnerable. Take out brownings with gems first again. Make sure you can see all corners of your stronghold, and aim for large groups since the bomb has such a huge blast radius. For completing Kidnap Keep, you unlock the use of the Medieval Magic Shop is create mode. Final Siege Unlocked by: Get a medal in Kidnap keep Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems Take out the pairs of chem. blox on the four outer towers right away by hitting them from above. You do not want those hitting your chem. blox in the middle. Then its not too bad. Again, hit any enemies stealing a gem blox, use the bombs giant blast radius to your advantage by taking out large groups with it, and keep track of ever corner of your stronghold. For completing Final Siege, you unlock the use of the eight ball in create mode. For completing Final Siege, you unlock the use of evil castle in create mode. For completing this set of puzzles with at least a silver medal, you unlock the set more thieves in adventure challenge. -------- Warriors Unlocked by: Get a medal on every puzzle in sneaky thieves. -------- Fight Beck Unlocked by: Get a medal in Monolith Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throws Aim for the bottom of where the two walls of the monkeys towers two sides you can see meet. A well placed bomb will take out the main tower, and knock over the two side towers. You better not take too long for this, since if your army is defeated, you lose. For completing Fight Back, you unlock the use of Sir Babadoo in create mode. Collateral Unlocked by: Get a medal in Fight Back Bronze: 4 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 2 throws This one isnt bad once you know what to do. On each wall that goes out, there should be a blox with two gem blox on top of it, one on either side. Hit the middle of that for both sides, and you should win. The explosion from the first bomb should set off the bomb blox in the middle, but if it doesnt, hope the second does. For completing collateral, you unlock the use of Medieval Ruin B in create mode. Bluster Unlocked by: Get a medal in Collateral Bronze: 5 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 3 throws Start by hitting the middle of the side of blox with two monkeys and a bunch a gem blox on them, but a little towards the middle to take out the gem blox there. Then lob a shot at the vanish blox in the middle and in the back, towards where it meets that top blox, which should collapse everything enough so that you win. For completing Bluster, you unlock the use of Medieval Blacksmith in create mode. Iron Gates Unlocked by: Get a medal in Bluster Bronze: 6 throws *Silver: 4 throws Gold: 3 throws This one is though. You dont have a lot of time before your army gets defeated, so work fast. Start by hitting the chem. blox on that middle table into the huge chem. blox behind it with a throw near where the chem. blox meets the regular blox its on. If this goes right, it should cause a big chain reaction that takes out most of the course. Then there is (hopefully) only a few monkeys left. Take out them and any gems near them, and clean up. This isnt much of a reliable strategy, but its the only one I know of that usually gets you at least a silver, gold if your lucky. Staggered Unlocked by: Get a medal in Iron Gates Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Getting silver is no problem. Just aim right above the monkey in the middle at the bomb blox. If you hit it, almost all the gems will fall. Sometimes the two on top of the big chem. blox in the middle will stay on, but its easy to knock those off. If your lucky, the big chem. blox will just fall, and youll get a gold medal. For completing Staggered, you unlock the use of Medieval Sword in Stone in create mode. Indefensible Unlocked by: Get a medal in Staggered Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 2 throw Getting silver for this isnt too bad. Rotate the camera so your looking level with the middle of the center of the structure (with the vanishing blox). Hit the middle area three times, and the mult-hit vanish blox should vanish, causing the thing to collapse. If your unlucky, you may have to use an extra throw. Gold is a little trickier (read: luckier). Look at the bottom from an angle. There are four square chem. blox down there (it doesnt matter which side you look from). Then throw a bomb blox or two at the bottom, trying to knock two chem. blox together. If you succeed, the whole tower will blow up. Sometimes one gem blox hangs out on top of the wreckage, but sometimes you can get gold in one lucky shot. For completing Indefensible, you unlock Tiki for use in create mode. For completing Indefensible, you unlock Gorilda rescue in Adventure mode. For completing every Warriors puzzle with a silver or better, you unlock Old castles in challenge adventure. For getting a gold on ever Warriors mission, you unlock the use of the bowling ball hose in create mode. --------------- Gorilda Rescue - GR Unlocked by: Get a medal on Indefensible --------------- ------- Escape Unlocked by: Get a medal on Indefensible ------- Carpenter Unlocked by: Get a medal on Indefensible Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:40 seconds *Gold: 0:42 seconds This one isn't too bad to get a gold on. Look at the course from above, then start. Get the first two "steps" ready by pulling the blox that are sandy colored out. Then pull out a bunch of the vanishing blox in the gorilda's way. Once those are all gone for him, just ready the rest of the steps, and he shouldget there in time for a gold. For completing Carpenter, you unlock the use of Booga in create mode. For completing Carpenter, you unlock the use of Ooga in create mode. For completing Carpenter, you unlock the ue of Mooga in create mode. Interruption Unlocked by: Get a medal on Carpenter Bronze: 0:45 seconds Silver: 1:10 seconds *Gold: 1:17 seconds I look at this level from above. Take out the blox nearest the gorilda by pulling it out. Then pull out the blox on the left of the three you need to remove. After that, its a simple matter of pulling out the last two blox. If you do this all fast enough that the gorilda doesn't ever have to stop, you should get gold. Magic Carpet Unlocked by: Get a medal on Interruption Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 1:00 seconds *Gold: 1:11 seconds Look at the course from above, so you can see the vanish blox by the baby gorildas, and the platform you can move closest to the mom gorilda. Take out that blox across the path immedietly after the first platform you can move, then take out a vanish blox or two. Once the gorilda nears the edge of the first platform, slide it along to the end. Not moving the platform doesn't move the gorilda. Then pull out the rest of the vanish blox, and move the last platform when needed. The gorilda should get there just in time. For completiing Magic Carpet, you unlock the use of Tiki Hut C in create mode. Coil Toil Unlocked by: Get a medal on Magic Carpet Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 2:00 seconds *Gold: 2:20 seconds Look at the course from above. Start, and pull out that blox right in front of the gorilda. Then you start running into problems. It seems that removing the blox has a pattern to it. Move the blox nearest the baby gorilda's to the right, then move the outermost blox on the left (If the gorilda is on the bottom of your screen) up, then move the blox closest to the gorilda to the left, then move the outermost blox on the right down. Follow this until there's no blox blocking the gorilda. If you know how to do it and do it fast enough, you should get a gold. Congestion Unlocked by: Get a medal on Coil Toil Bronze: 0:30 seconds Silver: 0:45 seconds *Gold: 1:00 seconds Look at the course from above. Then start, and pull out the blox closest to the gorilda. Then you should see two tiki things (don't know what they specifically are) on each side, with a blox inbetween each pair. Pull out these blox by moving them up or down. There should be the top of a blox newly exposed because of this. Pull that out, straight up. Then there should be a blox below the first one by the tiki things. Pull it out by moving it up. This should free you to pull these long thin blox below the huge on in the middle out to the left or right.Once both sides are done, the big blox will lower, and you should get a gold. Air Lock Unlocked by: Get a medal on Congestion Bronze: 0:10 seconds Silver: 0:20 seconds *Gold: 1:00 seconds Look at the course from above, then start. Pull out that blox nearest the gorilda first. Then there should be a blox to the side of the two blocking the way. Move it as close to the baby gorildas as you can, and then move the blox blocking the way closer to the gorilda to the same side as this moving blox. Once the gorilda is past the first wall, move it back so its blocking the way. Then move the blox on the side as close as you can to where the gorilda started, and move the blox blocking the way that's closer to the baby gorildas to the same side as the sliding blox. This should let the gorilda pass through. Note you may have to wait for the gorilda to realize they can get past, and this may cause you to cut the time for a gold pretty close. For completing Air Lock, you unlock the use of Liberty Poppins in create mode. For completing Air Lock, you unlock the use of Tiki Foliage A in create mode. For completing Air Lock, you unlock the use of Angry Volcano in create mode. For completing all Escape puzzles with a silver medal or better, you unlock the No Exit set of puzzle in Challenge Adventure mode. -------- Crossing Unlocked by: Get a medal on Air Lock -------- Blocked Unlocked by: Get a medal on Air Lock Bronze: 1:00 seconds Sivler: 2:40 seconds *Gold: 2:46 seconds Hit that blox blocking the gorilda from advancing ASAP. Then look at that blox in the middle (straight at it from the same level), and hit it off by hitting in near the center. You have to get the gorilda going fast and not let it stop much to get gold, but its not tood bad. For completing Blocked, you unlock the use of Gory Gert in create mode. For completing Blocked, you unlock the use of Gorilda in create mode. Burden Unlocked by: Get a medal on Blocked Bronze: 1:00 seconds Silver: 2:40 seconds *Gold: 2:46 seconds Look at the course from the side so that your about level with those blox that make up the center arch thing. Start, and immedietly take out the blox right in front of the Gorilda. Then hit that blox on top of the arch structure in the center, then the blox it was on in the center. Both should fly off, and the Gorilda should make it across fine. For completing Burden, you unlock the use of Tiki Foliage B in create mode. Boomwich Unlocked by: Get a medal on Burden Bronze: 1:00 seconds Silver: 2:30 seconds *Gold: 2:36 seconds Start by making it so your about level with the blox that makes up the bridge you want the gorilda to walk across. Then start, and hit the long flat blox supported by the longer skinny ones closer to the gorilda. This should cause it to knock over the bomb blox. Then hit the blox right in front of the gorilda, and then hit the same blox peice on the same structure closer to the baby gorildas. This should leave your gorilda a clear path and plenty of time. If some of the long skinny poles fall over, then clear them off by looking at them from the same level, and hitting them near their top. For completing Boomwich, you unlock the use of Tiki Hut D in create mode. Weighty Unlocked by: Get a medal on Boomwich Bronze: 1:30 seconds Silver: 2:22 seconds *Gold: 2:36 seconds Silver isn't too bad here, but Gold is pretty tough. Look at the level from the side and so that most of the middle structure is level with you. Hit out the blox in the upper corners with a throw in their center. Then hit out the blox that were below them. Then aim for that pillar inbetween those two big blox on top near the center. Hit out any other blox left, and release the gorilda. At the least this should be bronze, silver if your fast enough. For Gold, about halfway through this, release the Gorilda. If your fast enough, and things fall apart extra fast, you have a shot a gold. Cross Brace Unlocked by: Get a medal on Weighty Bronze: 1:00 seconds Silver: 2:32 seconds *Gold: 2:36 seconds Look at the course from the side so your about level with the 3 blox in the gorildas way. Start with hitting the big blox nearest the gorilda in the middle, sending it off the platform. Then hit the blox preventing the gorilda from leaving its little starting area. The gorilda will then start moving (soon). Hit the remaining two blox in the same manner as you hit the first one off, and you should leave your a gorilda a clear path, and it should get there in time. For completing Cross Brace, you unlock the use of Tiki Wall in create mode. New Clear Unlocked by: Get a medal on Cross Brace Bronze: 1:30 seconds Silver: 2:26 seconds *Gold: 2:39 seconds Gold here is tricky, but possible if your fast. Make it so your camera is looking at the course to the side, right about in line with the chem blox closest to the gorilda. Then hit the chem blox closest to the gorilda. Let out the gorilda. Hit out the chem blox nearest the baby gerts. Then hit out the chem blox that are higher up in that middle structure, then the lower two, and finally the middle chem blox. Take out the chem blox nearer the gorilda sooner, since if he gets too close to them, it's very hard to not hit him out too. That and they block his path. You'll have to let the gorilda have little to no slowdown time to get a gold medal here. For getting a silver medal or better on all crossing missions, you unlock the levels cross walks in adventure challenge. For completing New Clear, you unlock the curious kittrn. For completing New Clear, you unlock Mouth Volcano. For getting a gold medal on all crossing missions, you unlock the use of the raquetball in create mode. ------ Rescue ------ Trapped Unlocked by: Get a medal on New Clear Bronze: 1 character Silver: 3 characters *Gold: 4 characters This one is pretty easy. Look at the top level so you looking at the gem blox's long side. Then slide them out, pulling them off, one at a time. Then line it all up and repeat for the two on top of the four corner pillars. Then just look at each pillar, and pull it away from the center platform. None of this should bother any baby gerts. For completing Trapped, you unlock the use of Cody P. Schmee in create mode. Quartered Unlocked by: Get a medal on Trapped Bronze: 1 character Silver: 3 characters *Gold: 4 characters Look at the structure from above. Then pull out those four gem blox on top. Make sure with all your grabs you send it flying away, so it doesn't hit the platforms the baby gerts are on. Then you can just pull the four corner pillars away, no problem. For those four gem blox in the middle, pull them out (gently) in between the baby gerts. If this doesn't work for you, look at their long sides, pull them up, and then throw them away. For completing Quartered, you unlock the use of Tiki Hut A in create mode. Trick Brick Unlocked by: Get a medal on Quartered Bronze: 1 character *Silver: 3 characters Gold: 4 characters Getting a gold on this level takes some luck.Anyway, the best way I've found is to look right at the wall from the side, so you see almost every blox. Then pull out the two lowest gem blox by grabbing them, and pointing down (pull them down) with the Wiimote. Then repeat for the two in the same column that are above that pair. Then do this again (top, then bottom) for the gem blox in the other column, with the gem blox right under the baby gert's. If you keep things steady enough and nothing falls apart, you should get gold, silver if your a tad unlucky, and bronze if things just fall apart on you. For completing Trick Brick, you unlock the use of Tiki Hut B in create mode. Insect Bones Unlocked by: Get a medal on Trick Brick Bronze: 2 characters Silver: 3 characters *Gold: 4 characters Start by looking at that tower on the top, and pulling it apart blox by blox. I just look at one side, pull a blox from the uppermost level up, and fling it to the side. Once thats gone, you can focus on a gem blox. For every gem blox by a baby gery, look at it so the baby gert is just in front of it, and slide it to whichever side is unblocked. For those without baby gerts, slip the gem blox out to whichever side doesn't have anything blocking it. Fire Altar Unlocked by: Get a medal on Insect Bones Bronze: 2 characters Silver: 3 characters *Gold: 4 characters Look at the top part of the structure, with the gem blox pairs on the left and right. Pull out one of the upper ones, and quickly pull out the one on the oppisite side. Do this quickly or the baby gerts will fall off. Then pull out the two gem blox in either order. As long as you pull them out smoothly, you should be fine. For the last two on the bottom, I look at the course from the side, so a big long blox is blocking most of my view. Try to angle it so you can see the tip of one of the base gem blox, and pull it out to the side. Do this for both base gem blox in either order, and then you should get gold. Lava Bomb Unlocked by: Get a medal on Fire Altar Bronze: 2 characters Silver: 3 characters *Gold: 4 characters Start by taking apart that top tower. I just pull the blox up and throw them away. For that last one, look straight at it when your level with it, move it up, then throw it away. After that, look at the gem blox 2 of the 4 baby gerts are standing on, and pull it out to the side. Do the same for the other blox on this level. Then pull out the two gem blox below those two baby gerts that were on the regular blox at the start. Then rotate the camera 90 degrees, and pull out the gem blox off to the side. Rotate the camera 180 degrees, and then pull out the gem blox on this side the same way. For the last two gem blox, if you look at their long sides from a little higher then they are, you should see the ends of them poking out. Grab the end of them and pull them out. If this is all done right, the gerts and tower will be intact. For completing Lava Bomb, you unlock the use of Tiki Hut E in create mode. For completing Lava Bomb, you unlock the use of Frontier Canyon in create mode. For completing every rescue mission with a silver medal or better, you unlock Saving Grace puzzles in Challenge Adventure. For completing every rescue mission with a gold medal, you unlock the coconut for use in create mode. ----------------- Boots n' Bandits - BnB Unlocked by: Get a medal on Lava Bomb ----------------- ---------- Gold Mine Unlocked by: Get a medal on Lava Bomb ---------- Mine Time Unlocked by: Get a medal on Lava Bomb Bronze: 20 nuggets Silver: 50 nuggets *Gold: 100 nuggets For this one, throw the bombs off to this side. Once you get to mining the gold, look at the top of the upper-most part of the structure. There should be a hole. Throw some bouncy balls in the whole, and hope for 100. I recommend throwing thte balls in at an angle, and have as few openings as possible so the balls have fewer ways to escape. If your short a few of getting gold, start aiming through the hole at specifid not gold blox. For completing Mine Time, you unlock the use of Maisy Moo in create mode. For completing Mine Time, you unlock the use of Betsey Moo in create mode. Stove Pipe Unlocked by: Get a medal in Mine Time Bronze: 15 nuggets Silver: 35 nuggets *Gold: 50 nuggets I look at the top of the structure, and hit the top. This should make a small hole in the top. Then throw away any excess bombs, and throw your bouncy balls in the tiny hole. It should get you gold, no problem. Mineshaft Unlocked by: Get a medal on Stove Pipe Bronze: 40 nuggets Silver: 50 nuggets *Gold: 64 nuggets This one can be tricky.I personally look at the side where you can see a 3 by 3 square of bomb blox on the end (oppisite side of where you start). I hit the immovable blox right in fron of the blox, detonating all the bombs. Throw away your extra bomb. Kill one of the cows on the side or something. Then just throw your bouncy balls into the structure. Try to angle it so they bounce side to side or up and down more then straight ahead. If you get all the wood in the thing turned to gold, you should get a gold medal. This one takes some luck. For completing Mineshaft, you unlock the use of Frontier Cactus in create mode. Lucky Bounce Unlocked by: Get a medal on Mineshaft Bronze: 50 nuggets Silver: 60 nuggets *Gold: 75 nuggets Look at the top of the tallest part of the structure. Hit the center little blox, and the top should expose the inside. Throw away your extra bomb. The rest is a matter of throwing in bouncy balls, and hoping for the best, and getting a gold medal. Honey Unlocked by: Get a medal on Lucky Bounce Bronze: 120 nuggets Silver: 180 nuggets *Gold: 190 nuggets Look at the top of the structure, and nail the middle of it. This should leave a small opening. Throw away an extra bomb if you have one. Then throw your bouncy balls in the small opening, and they should get you a gold if you let them bounce long enough. Rich Vein Unlocked by: Get a medal on Honey Bronze: 100 nuggets Silver: 135 nuggets *Gold: 150 nuggets Look at the top of the part where the ceiling is made up of tons of little hit this near the middle, making a 1 blox hole. Throw away your other bomb. Then you have to get your bouncy balls to go through almost the whole place for a gold. I recommend throwing them in at angles, and throwing them in when you have a birds eye view of the course, since this will help the bouncy ball get the ceilings. If your lucky, you'll get gold. For completing Rich Vein, you unlock the use of Frontier Outhouse in create mode. For completing Rich Vein, you unlock the use of Frontier Sundown in create mode. For completing every Gold Mine puzzle with a silver or better, you unlock the Adventure Challenge puzzle set Gold Miners. For completing every Gold Mine puzzle with a gold, you unlock the use of Stinkerton Potts in create mode. ------------ Blastin' Site Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rich Vein ------------ Bang Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rich Vein Bronze: 50 nuggets Silver: 200 nuggets *Gold: 400 nuggets This one is easy. Put the bomb in between and underneath the two platforms with point blox on them, and then start and wait for the bomb to be set off by Boots. For completing Bang, you unlock the Ice Queen. For completing Bang, you unlock the use of Boots Beaverton in create mode. Bridge Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bang Bronze: 180 nuggets Silver: 300 nuggets *Gold: 440 nuggets Easy. Put one bomb blox underneath each little box thing of point blox. Then put the last one at the short end of the structure, right against it (it can be flat on the ground). Then let Boots set off the first bomb, and the rest should blow up everything in the chain reaction that follows. For completing Bridge, you unlock the use of Frontier Shack A in create mode. Palace Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bridge Bronze: 80 nuggets Silver: 150 nuggets *Gold: 230 nuggets To topple this thing, put one blox at the bottom, as close as to the middle as you can. Then put the second one on the second lowest level, just above the center, on the side closest to Boots. Then put the third bomb blox on the level just above that, in between two of the four 10 point blox, on the side closest to Boots. If you let Boots set off the bottom one, there should be a chain reaction destroying all the bomb blox and the point blox. Bombinoes Unlocked by: Get a medal on Palace Bronze: 20 nuggets Silver: 40 nuggets *Gold: 90 nuggets Put two of the bomb blox in between the two blox holding up the stack with the most point blox on top. Put the last on in the middle of the side of the same structure, on the ground. Make sure this is the only one on the ground so Boots has to set it off first. Once you start, if Boots sets off the one against the side of the largest thing first, then it should fall apart onto the other two smaller ones enough to knock off all of the point blox for all of them. For completing Bombinoes, you unlock the use of Frontier Shack B in create mode. Bricks Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bombinoes Bronze: 50 nuggets Silver: 180 nuggets *Gold: 300 nuggets Put one bomb blox on the inside of two of the four supporting blox next to each other (the that they're not on oppisite corners). Then stack on more bomb blox on both of these. Let Boots set off the bombs, and the stack should slowlyfall down, and you should get gold. Make sure all of the bomb blox are standing up as tall as they can be. For completing Bricks, you unlock the use of Frontier Tree in create mode. Pea Shooter Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bricks Bronze: 50 nuggets Silver: 300 nuggets *Gold: 320 nuggets This is a fun one. Put two of your bomb blox in those little slots in between the 10 point blox on the side oppisite the big chem blox. Then put one right in between the 10 point blox and the smaller chem blox, again on the oppisite side from the big chem blox. Then put the last one at the base of the side oppisite the big chem blox, as if there were two 10 point blox there on the ground. Let Boots blow up the bombs, and the point blox should all fall off. For completing Pea Shooter, you unlock the use of the Six Shooter in create mode. For completing Pea Shooter, you unlock the use of Frontier Town in create mode. For completing every Blastin' Time mission with a silver or better, you unlock the More Blastin' set in Adventure Challenge. ------------ Bandit Blast Unlocked by: Get a medal on Pea Shooter ------------ Outskirts Unlocked by: Get a medal on Pea Shooter Bronze: 1 cow Silver: 3 cows *Gold: 5 cows Work from left to right here. I start out by hitting each of the Babadoos trying to hurt the cows. Then, hitting any Badaboo's that appear, hit all of the bomb blox. I think destroying all of the blox with starts automatically ends the thing for you, which should happend if you hit all the bomb blox. If not, hit off any straggling star blox. If your not done, just watch for a Babadoo to spawn, and hit it right away. You just need to be fast and accurate for a gold here. For completing Outskirts, you unlock the use of Spanky Babadoo in create mode. Foundations Unlocked by: Get a medal on Outskirts Bronze: 1 cow Silver: 3 cows *Gold: 5 cows Start off by hitting all the Babadoo's that are there to start. Then, hitting any Babadoo's the moment they appear, hit out those blox at the bottom of the structures to collapse them, and hit any of those blox with stars to attempt to finish this level early. As long as you watch out and hit any Babadoos that appear, you should get a gold here. For completing Foundations, you unlock the use of Frontier Sheriff in create mode. Scary Boss Unlocked by: Get a medal on Scary Boss Bronze: 1 cow Silver: 3 cows *Gold: 5 cows This one is tough. Start by hitting out the supports to that big square blox that's pretty high up in the back. There's a hidden Babadoo up there that will throw bomb blox if you don't take care of them. Then start collapsing the three platforms by shooting out their foundations. If you ever see a blox flying at your cows, hit it in mid-air to knock it off course. Hit a few Babadoos so they don't get to be too numerous, but don't try to get them all. Once you collapse the platforms, take out any stray Babadoos and blox's with a star on them. This one will take a few tries, but is possible with some sharp shooting. For completing Scary Boss, you unlock the use of Frontier General Store in create mode. Downtown Unlocked by: Get a medal on Scary Boss Bronze: 3 cows Silver: 4 cows *Gold: 5 cows This level has a guy throwing bombs hiding in the thing in the back right. Just be sure to watch for flying bomb blox, and take them out ASAP. Anyway, start from the right to the left here. Hit the bomb blox to take care of most of the starting Babadoos and the blox with stars on them. Make sure to take out most of the spawning Babadoos, and watch for those bomb blox flying from the back. Once you hit all of the bomb blox, take out any straggling Babadoos and blox with stars on them. If that Babadoo in the back is still throwing bomb blox after all of this, then hit a bomb blox right after its launched, and you should take care of the Babadoo too. Gate Guards Unlocked by: Get a medal on Downtown Bronze: 2 cow Silver: 3 cows *Gold: 5 cows This one is harder, becase you can't end it early. You can make it easier. Take out that Babadoo that starts out. Then look at the bottom row of where the Babadoos can appear. You should be able to see the edge of some differently colored blox than the immovable blox. Hit those differently colored blox, since those are the blox with stars on them. You can only do this on the bottom row. Do this early on, since that's the time with the least action, and will make life easier on this level. Then just hit the Babadoos when they appear. Watch for a little pillar of blue... smoke? Whatever it is, it will appear now and then from the blox with stars on them. Use this as a marker for where to look, since a Babadoo will usually appear after some blue smoke (not all the time though). For completing Gate Guards, you unlock the use of Frontier Saloon in create mode. Danger Zone Unlocked by: Get a medal on Gate Guards Bronze: 1 cow Silver: 3 cows *Gold: 5 cows You better have good aim for this level. Start by hitting that little bomb blox on the ground just to the right of the left-most tower. That should blow up that left-most tower. From now on, do not blow up any bomb blox, or they will blow up your cows too. Take out any Babadoos that appear, and carefully aim and shoot out those blox with the stars on them. As long as you don't blow up your cows, you should get a gold medal. For completing Danger Zone, you unlock the use of the Shotgun in create mode. For completing Danger Zone, you unlock the use of Haunted Woods in create mode. For completing every Bandit Blast puzzle with a silver or better, you unlock the Bandits Return puzzle set in Adventure Challenge. ------------- Haunted Night - HN Unlocked by: Get a medal on Danger Zone ------------- ------------ Spooky Woods Unlocked by: Get a medal on Danger Zone ------------ Tricky Trail Unlocked by: Get a medal on Danger Zone Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 3 kittens Gold: 5 kittens This one is pretty easy. Shoot all of the gouls there to start. Then hit away all of the vanishing blox in between the pumpkin blox. Hit any gouls that appear, and wait for the kittens to reach the big pumpkin blox. For completing Tricky Trail, you unlock the use of Emily Mittens in create mode. Terror Trees Unlocked by: Get a medal on Tricky Trail Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens Again, not too bad. Hit the demon monkey looking things right off the bat. Hit the bomb blox if you like. The monkeys should appear in the same spots, so just be ready for them and hit them when they appear. Wait for the kittens to get to the big pumpking blox. If you want them to get there faster, blast the blox in their way when you get a chance. Limb to Limb Unlocked by: Get a medal on Terror Trees Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens This one is just a harder version of Terror Trees. Hit out the blox in the way of the kittens. Blast the monkeys and zombies as they appear, but the monkeys are a higher priority. Their throws usually come about faster then a zombie finally making it to one of the kittens. Try to get some chem blox collisions to blox up those tower things, or just blast there bases a lot. For completing Limb to Limb, you unlock the use of Haunted Mushrooms in create mode. Fear of Fog Unlocked by: Get a medal on Limb to Limb Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens Hit those bomb blox in the tower second from the left right away. Then hit any enemies. Hit ONLY the top chem blox on the tower just to the right of it. Hit any enemies. The hit the bomb blox on the tower to the right of that tower. Hit any enemies. If you haven't picked up on the patttern yet, its pretty much take out the tower (hit the bomb blox for those towers, hit the top chem blox for those towers) second from the left, then work your way right, and in between taking out these towers, hit the enemies. When you get a chance, hit away those multi hit vanish blox in the way of the kittens and the big pumpkin blox. Once the towers are taken care of, just blast the baddies. Hit the monkey guys first, since they throw bomb blox, which are very dangerous here. The Green Road Unlocked by: Get a medal on Fear of Fog Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens As long as you focus on the monkeys, you'll be fine. For this level, there's not really anything you can do except blast away the zombies and monkeys until the kittens arrive at the big pumpkin blox. Hit the monkeys as soon as they appear, even when a zombie is closing in. A zombie will close in on 1 kitten at a time. If a monkey gets off a single chem blox, most, if not all, of your kittens are doomed. All of the baddies spawn in the same places, so learn those and be ready for them. Now and then a zombie will creep up from behind, but you should be able to nail him. For completing The Green Road, you unlock the use of Haunted Tree E in create mode. Rancid Rain Unlocked by: Get a medal on The Green Road Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens This mission is different. Blast away the blox blocking the kittens path, and any enemies. However, now there are chem blox appearing and sliding in from above. You biggest priority in this stage is to hit those chem blox as soon as they land. Try to get them to spin off so they never even land on the kittens path. If any of them fall on the path, they could block or squish on one of your kittens. If two fall on the path... then your in big trouble. Anyway, hit the monkeys when they spawn, and take out those zombies that start by the big pumpkin blox at the start. The only zombies that will spawn after that will try to sneak up from behing the kittens. If you blast quickly, you should get a gold on this level. For completing Rancid Rain, you unlock the Golden Cow. For completing Rancid Rain, you unlock the use of Marion McCluck in create mode. For completing Rancid Rain, you unlock the use of Haunted Mansion in create mode. For completing every spooky woods level with a silver or better, you unlock the Creepy Woods level set in Adventure Challenge. ----------- Lost Kitten Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rancid Rain ----------- Build A Wall Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rancid Rain Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 1:05 seconds *Gold: 1:10 seconds This is easy. Pull out that blox blocking the kitten from the pumpkin blox right away, and turn in once with the Wiimote. The put in in line with the blox wall near the top of the screen. This should hold of the Grimm until the kitten makes it to the pumpkin blox. For completing Build A Wall, you unlock the use of Gurgless Grimmm in create mode. Discovery Unlocked by: Get a medal on Build A Wall Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:45 seconds *Gold: 0:55 seconds First pull the blox in the kittens way out, and put them near the bottom of your screen. As a note, you can drop blox on the zombies to kill them. Space the blox out a bit in between the last and second to last chem blox (closest to the pumpkin blox). Then start making a second wall behing those, using all of the blox at the front of the structure holding the pumpkin blox. If there are a lot of zombies in an area, drag a pair of chem blox over, and detonate them together to kill them. A couple of zombies will come from a different angle, more behind than the rest. I recommend getting rid of those two with a pair of chem blox. If you don't let anything slow down or get to your kitten, you should get a gold. For completing Discovery, you unlock the use of Haunted Pumpkins in create mode. Pyramid Path Unlocked by: Get a medal on Discovery Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:45 seconds *Gold: 0:50 seconds Move those blox in your kittens way off to the side, sort of blocking the zombies. Then start taking apart the pyramid. Start with the two on top closer to the kitten. Then do the blox the pumpkin blox is on until it falls to the bottom. At that point you mostly just have to make walls to hold of the zombies. If those two critters on each side lay enough chem blox, you can put two of those together near some zombies to kill them. I recommend starting to make your walls very far back. You can always move blox closer to your kitten, but once the zombies get past a point, they aren't going backwards. If you keep the zombies far enough away from your kitten, you should get a gold. For completing Pyramid Path, you unlock the use of Haunted Tombstone A in create mode. Rise Above Unlocked by: Get a medal on Pyramid Path Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:25 *Gold: 0:45 Working fast at the start as key for getting a gold here. Adjust the camera so you can see the pumpkin blox and where the kitten starts. Then move one of those pairs of blox by where the kitten starts (the ones in front of it) onto the first and second cloud blox in line with the pumpkin blox (the kitten will go in a straight line, remember that). Then move the two towers of blox by the pumpkin blox that are closer to the kitten, towards the kittens start on blox, and up or down one blox. This should move both those blox down. Also, weigh down that last blox closest to the pumpkin blox on the kittens path with two of the blox. This should make it so the kittens path to the pumpkin blox, and the blox to the sides of the one blox closest to the pumpkin blox, are all on the same level. When the zombies try to get to your kitten, they will fall too far and die. Make sure the blox on the kittens path are on the sides so they don't block and slow down your kitten. Also make sure the zombies aren't landing on top of the blox on the blox to the side of the main path. Put those ones near the main path. If you do all of this, and don't stop your kitten from moving forward much, then you should get a gold. Slimy Stairs Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rise Above Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:25 seconds *Gold: 0:45 seconds Adjust your camera so your looking almost but not quite from behind the stairs, so you can see both areas where the zombies respawn. Then start. Move the blox on the ground in your kittens way to make small walls on each side near where the zombies respawn. If there get to be a lot, get two chem blox over there and blow them up. Once your kitten is safely down from the big steps structure, you can pull out the blox in it to create more effective walls. Just try not to set off the chem blox when your kitten is too close, build some walls, and you should get gold here. For completing Slimy Stairs, you unlock the use of Haunted Crypt B in create mode. Mattresses Unlocked by: Get medal on Slimy Stairs Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:10 seconds *Gold: 0:35 seconds You have to work fast here. Immedietly start pulling out the blox the kitten starts on. Try to just place them near where the zombies appear. Once your kitten is on the move, move anything you may have put in its way out of the way. Then use some chem blox reactions to blow up the zombies. Now there are two options for the tower of vanish blox the pumpkin blox is on. You can either make some chem blox blow up right by its base, and get rid of all the vanish blox, or move all of the vanish blox to create walls for the zombies. Either way, you need to take care of that. I recommed turning the blox with the control pad so their tall and flat, so the zombies have to go through more. Use the chem blox to blow up any groups, and don't let them get to close to your kitten. If you get your kitten going soon, and keep it going, you should get a gold. For completing Mattresses, you unlock the use of the Skull Ball in create mode. For completing Mattresses, you unlock the use of Haunted Graveyard in create mode. Thats really all there is to this level. When there seems to be too many, hit a bomb blox to blow up the area. I would get rid of those multi-hit blox, since they only block your view of incoming zombies. Aim well and blast fast, and you should get a gold on this mission. For completing Grave Yard, you unlock the use of Buster Maguff in create mode. For completing Grave Yard, you unlock the use of Wrinkles Peasley in create mode. Standoff Unlocked by: Get a medal on Grave Yard Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens. This one is a little harder. Watch out for those monkeys that appear in the back on each side--blast them as soon as you can. I reccomend hitting the bomb blox at the start and partially destroying the walls after awhile, so you can see the stage better. After that its just more pointing and shooting. For completing Standoff, you unlock the use of Haunted Tombstone B in create mode. Surrounded! Unlocked by: Get a medal on Standoff Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens This one is kind of crazy. Don't hit the walls--the zombies will destroy those for you. Constantly circle the camera at the start. As soon as you see a zombie, blast them. After the first part, the zombies usually attack one side at a time. This doesn't mean there won't be any on other sides--there's usually a couple here or there. It does mean you can focus of one side for a bit, then turn the camera to check around. The zombies have to get through the walls to get your kittens, so try to listen for when they're hitting the walls. For completing Surrounded!, you unlock the use of the Haunted Well in create mode. Invaded Unlocked by: Get a medal on Surrounded! Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens This level is just a longer and (I think) more defendable version of Surrounded!. Just blast the zombies. Save the bomb blox for when a huge wave of them appears on one side, then hit the bomb blox. Try not to destroy the walls, since they really help slow down the zombies. If your ever in doubt about where to look, follow the dog. He seems to usually aim at big groups of zombies. Watch out for the occasional zombie not with the bulk of the pack. After the start, the zombies usually all appear on one side for awhile, with a few on other sides. Take care of the big problem, but don't let other ones slip by. If your walls are too tall for you to see a zombie hitting them, try hitting the upper blox off the wall to not only see better, but make your wall extend out more. Ghostly Unlocked by: Get a medal on Invaded Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens Now your stuck with the baseball, which makes your life a lot harder. At the start, hit out the vanish blox to cause the chem blox to blow up on all four sides, since you won't be throwing at anything that far out later in the game. After that, keep turning your camera, and hit anything attacking your walls. If there are a lot of zombies in a corner area, hit the bomb blox to kill them. On another note, hitting the zombies doesn't change your baseballs path much, so try to line up a shot so if it goes straight (which it pretty much does), it takes out two zombies. Also, you better be good at getting a lot of good throws in fast, or your in big trouble. Watch out for the zombies getting to the vanish blox right by your kittens, and hit the zombies as fast as you can. For completing Ghostly, you unlock the use of Haunted Mansion in create mode. Spooked Unlocked by: Get a medal on Ghostly Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens This one is a nightmare to get a gold on, but possible. I recommend taking out all of the chem towers at the start by hitting the vanishing blox, since you don't want those things to fall the wrong way, and blow up your dogs or kittens. Then just try to kill the zombies. Again, line up shots to try and take out multiple zombies in one throw. Use some chem blox reactions and bomb blox when there are a lot of zombies in one area. After the first part, the zombies usually focus on one side at a time. Don't get too focused on that though, since usually they have some attack from other sides too. Rotate the camera every now and then to try and make sure none of them are sneaking up on you. Also try to keep your dogs alive, since they are practically lifesavers in this. Good luck, and keep trying, since this level takes some luck to even survive. For completing Spooked, you unlock the Great Gorilda. For completing Spooked, you unlock the use of the Ghost Gun in create mode. For completing Spooked, you unlock the Doom Tombs puzzle set in Adventure Challenge. ------------------ Explore Challenge - EC Unlocked by: Complete every Explore puzzle ------------------ ----------------- Expert Challenges - ExC Unlocked by: Get a medal on on Explore puzzles ----------------- Bullseye Unlocked by: Get a medal on every Explore puzzle Bronze: 1,000 points Silver: 1,700 points *Gold: 1,900 You don't have to be perfect to get a gold here, but you have to be darn close. I usually get the 10x multiplier by lining it up so that the number on the blox I'm planning to hit covers up the 10x multiplier (Your looking at the blox at the same level its on), and hitting it near the center. You may have to aim a little high on the outer blox on top of the pairs on the upper platform, but this should mostly work. This one takes practice and patience to get a gold. Shiny Tower Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bullseye Bronze: 5 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 3 throws From where the camera starts, there should the end of a vanish blox with a gem blox sticking out next to it. Aim right for where the two meet. Rotate the camera around so you can see the same thing on either side next to the first one. I personally go right every time. You should to collapse. Then look straight at the base gem blox, level with it, and hit it. This should send it and any other remaining gem blox toppling off. Red Bricks Unlocked by: Get a medal on Shiny Tower Bronze: 30 points Silver: 31 points *Gold: 32 points This one is a test of how fast you can take things apart. Angle your camera so your looking straight at one of the four corner towers, and can see the other two on either side. Pull apart the corner towers, one at a time. Rotate the camera to get whatever angle you like on the last tower, and dismantle it. This leaves the four skinny poles and the blox in them. Pull out the blox in the skinny poles, bottom one out first (you can try top to bottom if you want to.). Then once those are out, pull out the two oppisite corner's of the long skinny blox. Quickly yank out the remaining two if you want gold, and hope the minus 50 point blox falls onto the immovable platform. If your fine with a lower medal than gold, don't pull out the last two skinny pillar blox. Swirly Spire Unlocked by: Get a medal on Red Bricks Bronze: 420 points *Silver: 660 points Gold: 740 points I can't figure out gold, but I can get silver. Turn the camera to the right so your looking right at that side. Throw a baseball at the vanish blox second from the bottom, but hit it so it heads towards the center of the tower. This all should make some vanish blox vanish, and another one fall in front of where you just threw a baseball. Throw in another baseball, trying to hit as many vanish blox as possible. Then turn the camera to the right a little more, so you can see what should be a 20 point blox pillar, supporting another 20 point blox, with a vanish blox to the right of that. Try and aim for the point where all 3 meet. If you sucessfully hit out all three, most of the tower should fall, and you should get silver. Point Geyser Unlocked by: Get a medal on Swirly Spire Bronze: 75 points Silver: 150 points *Gold: 200 points This one can get really laggy for me, but ah well. This is a bit of an odd level. When a blox thats positive points pops out, grab it, and swing it towards the corresponding colored wall (yellow goes left, purple goes right). I recommed arcing the point blox up to avoid hitting minus point blox. Focus more on the 10 purple point blox, since they're worth more. If you do a good job, you should get gold. More Pinches Unlocked by: Get a medal on Point Geyser *Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws Gold: 1 throw Look straight at one "row" of gem blox (one of the longer sides of the set of gem blox) and be level with their centers. Hit the one closest to you in the center, which should take care of that side. Then so the same for the oppisite side. This usually leaves only a gem blox T on one side. I recommend hitting it from the side and below, where the two blox meet. This should get you bronze, no problem. For gold, you need some luck. I would try to hit one of the corner gem blox and have the ball then hit one of the middle gem blox holding up the upper regular blox to try and get the gem blox to fly around and destroy each other. Rigged Unlocked by: Get a medal on More Pinches Bronze: 50 points Silver: 65 points *Gold: 75 points This one isn't easy. Look at it from above, but slightly angled so you can just see the 10 on the side of one of the top point blox. Hit it out with a medium throw (the baseball should have a yellow trail behind it), then rotate the camera around to do the same for the other side. Then gently hit out the blox beneath that pair. This next set has a 10 point blox in the middle. Using the medium throws again, and the same angle, hit where the little square 10 point blox and one of the side 10 point blox meet until they fall, then turn the camera to gently hit out the blox on the other side. For the last pair of blox, make it so your camera is level with the target blox, and then blast it out with a hard throw, right in the middle. Do this top to bottom, and it should cause the least trouble. If you did this all well, and if lady luck is on your side, you should get a gold on this. Demolition Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rigged Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 5 throws *Gold: 4 throws Heres a video of someone doing this level in one throw: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k358UiQenwY By the way, this Tab0203 person has lots of videos of boom blox levels, so if your stuck and my FAQ isn't helping, or you need some visual aid, see if he has a video As for the rest of us who don't get that kind of things to happen for us, try this. Start by turning the camera down and to the left a little, and hitting that part where three regular blox (one with a vanish blox on top) are stickin out, next to a vanishing blox. It's like the throw the in the video, except hit in between the two lower regular blox, while aiming to have the bounce off take out that vanish blox. This should expose the bomb blox in the center of the base. Hit them with your second throw. This should leave four parts holding the tower up, that are sets of two blox, except for one is only one blox. Hit out the solo blox one with a bowling ball hitting it from behind, thrown the middle usually. Then take out the pair of blox on one of the corners next to it. In theory, a throw from behing should do this, pushing them out to the middle. I have only gottten this to work out a few times, so any tips on getting those base blox out would be appreciated. Green Goop Unlocked by: Get a medal on Demolition Bronze: 400 points Silver: 415 points *Gold: 465 points The key here is those three 50 point blox. If you can hit the chem blox their on with another chem blox, they should fall. That's 150 points right there. For this level, I recommend going about like most other plumbing puzzles. Knock out any point blox that are sticking out on the ends first, and loosen blox away from something you don't want to hit off by hitting their top from the side. When any of the chem blox get in a position to hit one of the big chem blox, go for it. Don't worry if you hit off some minus point blox--you'll gain more points than you'll lose, and you can afford some mistakes, even for gold (but not a lot). Keep this up, and knock away the point blox very carefully for a gold here. Open Goal Unlocked by: Get a medal on Green Goop Bronze: 900 points Silver: 1,200 points *Gold: 1,500 points I'm not very fond of this level, but that won't help me here. Anyway, start on either the left or right side of the 10 point blox. If you want gold, you'll need to get most of them into the 10x multiplier. There are 23 blox, which can be 2,300 points, so if you get a little more than two thirds of the blox in the 10x, you should get gold. To get the 10x multiplier, I've got two strategies, neither of which seems to work out all the time. The first and more reliable is to be level with the target blox, hit it right in the number, but have the shot lined up so it hits about the middle of that backboard, low. If this is done right, it should go into the 10x multiplier most of the time. The other strategy is to use slightly softer throws on the blox, but that usually winds up getting you into the 4x multiplier. One last thing is to try hitting out the lower of the two blox that make a stack out first. If you hit the top blox, the bottom one may slowly tumble over, getting you only 10 points. With some skill and luck, gold is yours. Launch Point Unlocked by: Get a medal on Open Goal Bronze: 800 points Silver: 850 points *Gold: 900 points You have to be darn near perfect to get gold here. You must get every 10 point and higher blox pretty much. The blox all follow certain trajectories, which you should learn after a couple tries at this level. Try to anticipate the 50 point blox's zooming by (usually soon after the 25 point blox on the left apper) and blast them. You'll have to shoot ahead of the back more blox to hit them. Also, be accurate--you really can't afford to lost point here. Do your best to never hit any minus point blox, or else you'll be in trouble for getting bronze on this one. 4th of July Unlocked by: Get a medal on Launch Point Bronze: 300 points Silver: 500 points *Gold: 720 points This one is not nearly as bad as you may initially think. You just have to hit out all of the vanish blox, but make sure that the last one you hit is the one holding up the little chem blox in the lower part of that middle structure that has the upper part with two fireworks. Now to do it, you should see blox held up by vanish blox on the left part of the screen from where you start. Hit out only the vanish blox. Then there should be a vanish blox on top of the chem blox those three vanish blox you just hit out are below. Hit out the vanish blox. Then rotate the camera so your above one of those platforms above the two towers on the side. You should be able to see a vanish blox on the upper part of the middle structure. Hit it out for both sides. Then for your last throw, make it so your looking at the middle structure's back side (the part farther from the "ramp" you made with your first three throws). You should see a chem blox being held up by a vanish blox. Hit out the vanish blox, enjoy the show, and you just got yourself a gold medal. ------------------ Master Challenges - MC Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all explore puzzles ------------------ Rinse Cycle Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all explore puzzles Bronze: 135 points Silver: 150 points * Gold: 175 points The key here is to not let the two chem blox connect, and to use soft throws. I recommend gettting rid of all the vanish blox right away, then working from the top down. Use soft throws (orange trail as your hardest) so when you hit off the point blox, you get them into that 2x multiplier, which is pretty much required to be used for a medal here. Use soft throws to hit out blox that stick out of the main chunk, or if there a lone pillar. The moment you can hit that long chem blox away, do so. It doesn't really matter what it takes with it, because it will do far worse if it meets that other chem blox. Be patient, take care of the chem blox, and throwing softly are key here. Multiples Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rinse Cycle Bronze: 1,300 points Silver: 1,400 points Gold: 1,580 points This level is a pain for me. Basically, if you want a shot at gold, you need to get most of the point blox in the 10x multiplier, none of the minus blox in any of the multipliers, most not knocked off, and figure out how the heck to hit all of the point blox right. Now I start with the higher platform. Hit the blox into that 10x multiplier, starting with the ones closest to it. If a minus point blox gets in the way of a shot, hit it to the side with a very soft throw. If you hit it off, don't worry about it too much, as long as it doesn't go into a multiplier. Even if you hit off all of the minus blox (I try this sometimes) to make life easier, and don't hit off any point blox, you wind up a little over 100 points in the negatives, easily remedied by a couple shots into the 10x multiplier. I personally struggle for bronze here, so good luck aiming. Try to hit blox when your camera is looking straigh at them, so they don't knock off other blox accidentally. Wall of Rock Unlocked by: Get a medal on Multiples Bronze: 620 points Silver: 640 points *Gold: 670 points This one is pretty easy if you know what to do. Hit one of the bottom corners of the big 50 point blox in the middle, right where it meets other blox. This throw should take care of the center. Then for the four corners, aim for where the three 5 point blox and one 10 point blox meet (they're right by the corners). Do this on each corner, and you should get every blox. If needed, you have one more throw to clean up any stragglers, and you have gold. Complex Unlocked by: Get a medal on Wall of Rock *Bronze: 110 points Silver: 120 points Gold: 200 points I can't come up with anything consistent for anything better than bronze, and can't even figure out gold. Anyway, here goes. Make it so your camera is right behind the vanish blox that point blox above no multiplier is on. Then, aim for the swirling center of the vanish blox. Your trying to hit out the vanish blox, and have the bounce of the baseball hit the point blox into the immovable blox behind it, bouncing it back and (hopefully) into the 10x multiplier. Then just hit out that remaining 10 point blox, and you have bronze. Fireworks Unlocked by: Get a medal on Complex Bronze: 600 points Silver: 700 points *Gold: 800 points This one is hard. To hit pretty much any of the blox, get them right in your little cursor thing. Make sure you get all of those 50's that fly in the back if you want a shot a gold (or medaling at all). Try to pick a few of the paths the 10 point blox take, and focus on getting the tens in that series, ignoring them when you have to go for the 50 point ones. With some precision and luck, you can get gold here. Downward Spiral Unlocked by: Get a medal on Fireworks Bronze: 20 points Silver: 40 points *Gold: 60 points This one is all or nothing for me. To do this level, look at the long side of the minus point blox for the level your on, starting at the top. Hit it with one throw WITH an orange trail, or two yellow trails. This should move it more towards the middle. Then look at the short end of the point blox, and blast it out causing minimal contact with other blox. Make sure for all of your throws you are level with the blox, and looking straight at it. If you do this right all the way down, you get gold. Golden Black Unlocked by: Get a medal on Downward Sprial Bronze: 25 points *Silver: 30 points Gold: 35 points This one is hard. The best way I've found to do this is make it so your camera is level with the target blox you want to get out, looking at its small and short side, and tapping A to send out a tiny stream of water. Once it gets there, this tiny bit of water should prove to be enough to knock out the point blox. Start at the top with this, and work your way down. If your doing a lot of blox from one side, turn the camera to the oppisite side and keep working. If you always push out blox from one side, the tower will lean too much and collapse. Once you get to the very bottom, my strategy doesn't really work anymore, but you should be at bronze, maybe silver. If you just want a medal, let the clock run out. If you want gold, I would try hitting out those blox that stick out, then taking care of the other ones by hitting them out at an angle as softly as you can with this firehose thing. Tiny Targets Unlocked by: Get a medal on Golden Black Bronze: 900 points Silver: 1,100 points *Gold: 1,500 points I actually found gold to be pretty easy for me on this level. Start on the left most pair of blox where all those 10 point blox are. Adjust the camera so your level with the blox on top of the pair, and its obscuring the 10x multiplier. Hit it in the middle (I go for the left side of the 0 myself) and it should go flying into the 10x multiplier. Now, don't hit the blox it was on yet. Do the same thing for the single blox that should be just to the right of the stack you just hit the top blox off of. Hit that blox into the 10x multiplier, doing the same thing as before. Then hit the blox the first blox you hit was on top of. Repeat this all the way down the line. If you get enough shots right, gold is yours. As a warning, I find that the farther right you get on the 10 point blox, the harder it is to get your shots to work out, so try and get as many 10 point blox in the 10x multiplier in the first half. Overwhelmed Unlocked by: Get a medal on Tiny Targets Bronze: 190 points Silver: 250 points *Gold: 330 points I'm not sure about gold here, but I can pretty much guarantee silver. At the very start, there shold be a tall regular blox with a single chem blox on top, on the right. Make it so your level with that chem blox and looking at the center structure with the chem blox partially obscuring things. Hit the chem blox in the middle. Your trying to get the chem blox to hit out the two supporting blox in that middle structure, and hit that huge chem blox behind that. This should make a bunch of stuff blox up. Then for your next throw, turn the camera until you see a long chem blox sitting on the ground, on the oppisite side of the first chem blox you hit off. If you look at the middle structure again when your right behind it, you should see another supporting tower of blox, with a big chem blox behind it. Hit the chem blox on the ground in the middle, sending it through the supports and into the big chem blox. This should take care of all but two towers with some point blox on them, in oppisite corners. Sometimes another tower survives, but you only need that one to fall if you want gold. You should have silver now. If not, look right at that tower that is mostly a regular blox, with a couple small point blox and blox on top, with a square chem blox on top of those. Hit out the tower by hitting where one of the regualar blox and chem blox meet. If you want gold, try to make it so your camera is as close to this tower as possible, and angle it so you can just see the chem blox holding up the four point blox in that far corner. Hit right where the regular blox and hem blox corners meet (it should be very close to you). If your a little lucky and get it to work, the chem blox will fly into that far towers chem blox, blowing up, and getting you all the points you need for gold. Sneaking Out Unlocked by: Get a medal on Overwhelmed Bronze: 60 points Silver: 70 points *Gold: 80 points This is one of those levels where a little luck is needed for gold. To start, look at the point blox in the middle from the side oppisite the one that is open, and hit them out from between the bars. Try to not let them hit out any of the pillars, since this will hurt you a lot later on. Then it's time for the blox wedged in the pillars. I start with one of the pillars that has the point blox at the bottom. Look at it so your camera as close to the the pillar as you can get. Then use a soft throw (yellow or blue trail) to hit the point blox towards the middle of the structure. Do this until the pillar falls into the middle, then hit the point blox out. Do this for the oppisite corner of the structure, then the other pillar with only a point blox at the bottom of a pillar, and that pillar's oppisite. If you can do this all softly enough and and carefully enough, you should get gold. Set 'em Off Unlocked by: Get a medal on Sneaking Out Bronze: 5 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 3 throws This is fun to watch one you can get it. Turn the camera so you can see the vanish blox the fireworks on those upper floating platforms so the fall down. Then hit that bomb blox in between the two middle fireworks on the bottom, setting off both fireworks. If all goes well, this should get you gold in 3 throws. What To Do? Unlocked by: Get a medal on Set 'em Off Bronze: 310 points Silver: 420 points *Gold: 590 points Adjust the camera from its start so if you hit the middle of that regular blox right in front of your face at the start, your throw knocks off all of the point blox below it, but more importantly, that when it flies, it flies into that tall chem blox with a single point blox on top so that the chem blox falls and sets off a lot of reactions. You should see two big chem blox with a little chem blox in between them off on their own. There should be three point blox on top of one of them, and maybe one point blox on the other. Hit the little chem blox into the chem blox with three point blox on it. Now, look for a tower that is being held up by a purple vanish point blox. Hit that purple vanish blox out, and let the chem blox and point blox fall. This should leave the chem blox on the ground. Then look at the chem blox so that your seeing that remaining structure held up by a tower of little blox in the backround. Hit the chem blox so it takes out that supporting tower of blox, and hits the chem blox behind that. This should take care of the rest of the point blox and get you gold. -------------------- Adventure Challenge - AC Unlocked by: Get silver or better on all levels of any stack in Adventure mode -------------------- -------- Midievil! - CAM Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all levels in any Gem Kingdom stack -------- ----- Ruins Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Gem Harvest puzzles ----- Cairn Crush Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Gem Harvest puzzles Bronze: 3 throws Silver: 2 throws *Gold: 1 throw Look right at one of those four chem blox outside the center tower, and hit it in the center. It should go through the vanish blox, hit the chem blox in the middle part, and blow up the rest of the level for you. Stout Walls Unlocked by: Get a medal on Cairn Crush Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 5 throws *Gold: 4 throws I can't really come up with a consistent way to get gold, but I have some ways that should at least get you a medal. One is to look in from above, and hit the base, where two of the blox on the side meet. Do this for two sides, and the hit away all the extra blox. Another way is to hit out the corner towers by looking at one when your level with it, and hit out another tower blox thing when it falls off. This level will take some experimenting and luck to gold, but trying my strategies above should get you bronze unless your really unlucky (I hope). Ruined City Unlocked by: Get a medal on Stout Walls Bronze: 5 throws *Silver: 4 throws Gold: 3 throws I can't really come up with any specifics here, since this level never seems to turn out the same way twice for me. I would try having your camera low, and hitting the part where the chem blox and blox meet. Try to get the blox to hit each other so they topple over like dominoes, while at the same time trying to get some chem blox to collide for some explosions. If you try this for a bit, you should get yourself bronze, silver if your lucky, and gold if your just plain amazing. Perches Unlocked by: Get a medal on Ruined City Bronze: 4 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 2 throws This level is really not too bad if you get some reactions going. Start by tilting your camera down so you see a vanish blox at the base of the tower you start closest by. Hit out the vanish blox, which should make the tower fall into another tower, blow it up, which should send a chem blox at another tower, blow it up, and maybe take out the fourth tower. If that fourth tower survives, which seems to happen most of the time, at the bottom you should see a bomb blox with a vanish blox next to it. Hit where the two blox meet, which should be plenty to make the tower collapse for you, and get you gold. ------------ More Thieves Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Sneaky Thieves puzzles. ------------ Break & Take Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Sneaky Thieves puzzles. Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems Not a tough level. Take care of those bandits right away. When you get a chance, hit those chem blox on top of those three towers away so they don't cause you any trouble. Once you do that, change the camera so your right above the four spawn points, over by where the towers were, and can see that spawn point behind your gems. Then just nail the thieves. Use the bombs huge blast radius to your advantage, and then things shouldn't be too hard. Take out any thieves that try to nab any of your gem blox, and you should be fine. Bear Brigade Unlocked by: Get a medal on Break & Take Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems I start by hitting away all of the chem blox on top of those four towers by where the bears spawn. Don't worry about the bears at the start--the walls should hold them off until you take care of the towers. Then, look at the stage from the side, so you can see the middle, and both sides where the bears appear. Just keep throwing bombs here, and you should be fine. Don't sweat it too much if your little towers explode, since the bomb's blast radius should cause too much damage for the bears to get any of your gems. Gem Bearers Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bear Brigade Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems Just blast the bears at the start, and make it so you have a birds eye view of the level. Don't worry about destroying the towers, since the bomb should be able to keep the bears plenty far away. Use its large blast radius to take out large groups of bears in one throw. I usually rotate my throws around the course, hitting each corner with the bears spawn points once. If there is a large group from one corner, take care of it, then continue rotating your throws around. This should do enough damage to keep the bears far from any of your gems. Palace Pinch Unlocked by: Get a medal on Gem Bearers Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems Gold: 8 gems This one is a bit tougher. First, hit out all of the chem blox on top of those outer towers to try and preserve your middle stronghold. Then look at the course from above, and keep nailing the bandits. Try to keep your throws away from your center stronghold so you don't make the bandits job any easier. Then its a matter of hitting the bandits. Hit any trotting off with your gem blox right away. Also, try to make it so your throws are closer to the outside than the inside, so the explosions send the gem blox closer to the middle, not the fires in the corners. All Armored Unlocked by: Get a medal on Palace Pinch Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems Gold: 8 gems Look at the course from above, and take out those starting bandits. Then the rest of them should come from the four corners of the course. I rotate my throws around, hitting any bandits coming from one corner, then moving to the next. If a group ever gets to the castle's walls, take it out, then resume your normal rotation. Your walls will slowly crumble, but thats alright. As long as you keep throwing enough bombs at the bandits, you should be able to hold them off from the gem blox. Just take out large groups, and any who try to take your gem blox. Raccoon Raid Unlocked by: Get a medal on All Armored Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems Look at the course from above. Hit the center on top, where those four gem blox are. This will make them more vulnerable, but if you don't do this, when the tower falls, they can go a whole lot farther. After that, it's like the other missions before this. Hit the bandits with the bomb, rotating their spawn point, and taking out any key groups, or any with a gem. Now after a bit of this, the bandits apear pretty much only below the castle. Let the castle crumble, blast any bandits running around, and then keep throwing bombs in the middle of those four central spawn points. If you can get rid of all other bandits, and they're only spawning in the middle, you can just keep blasting them all the moment they spawn. This mission is harder, but gold is definetly not impossible. ----------- Old Castles Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Warriors puzzles. ----------- Purple Heart Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Warriors puzzles. Bronze: 230 points Silver: 270 points *Gold: 300 points This one is actually really east. Look at the level from above, and hit the middle of the highest 10 point blox. Let the blox vanish, then hit the 10 point blox in the middle, and you should have 310 points. Just throw your last bomb far away so you don't lose any points. Violet Valor Unlocked by: Get a medal on Purple Heart Bronze: 170 points Silver: 200 points *Gold: 240 points This one is a little harder, but still possible. Look at the course from above, and hit that little 10 point blox on top. Then for the next two throws, look at one of the four outer corner so you see where the two side walls meet. Try to hit right where the two walls meet, destroying both walls and that corner. Do this for the oppisite corner, and you should have just enough points for gold. Indigo Ire Unlocked by: Get a medal on Violet Valor Bronze: 140 points *Silver: 180 points Gold: 200 points I can't seem to get gold here, but I can do silver. Look at it so your looking in between that outer most 10 point blox with a smaller 10 point blox on top, and that minus 5 point blox with three 10 point blox on top. Aim very high up and in between those two. Detonate the bomb between the two with A. This should have the bomb about equal in height to the highest target blox when it detonates. Do this on both sides, then look at the middle. See that big, central minus 5 point blox? Nail it on the edge towards the groups of 10 point blox, and that should take care of most of the middle, and get you silver, bronze at least. Collapse Unlocked by: Get a medal on Indigo Ire Bronze: 160 points Silver: 185 points *Gold: 225 points You don't need to move the camera for gold here. Start by hitting where that 10 point blox and minus 5 point blox meet, on the left and right of your screen, on that platform with all those little 10 point blox on top of it. Hit where that pillar nearest to you has the 10 point blox and bigger minus 5 point blox on top. Do that on the left and right. That for your last throw, you should see a big minus 10 point blox atop a long skinny minus point blox. A little below that precariously perched 10 point blox, you should be able to see the purple of a very small 10 point blox. Hit that corner of it closest to you, and you should get yourself gold. Razed Unlocked by: Get a medal on Collapse Bronze: 160 points *Silver: 185 points Gold: 225 points Well I can't figure out gold, but I can get silver fine. Start by looking at the course from above, near the middle. Hit the middle of that platfrom that structure that starts out nearest you, but on the end near that tower made of a few huge minus point blox. If you do this, you should make that front structure, the big tower, and the two side parts with four towers of minus 5 point blox have most of their 10 point blox drop. Then rotate the camera down and to the left, so that the tower that starts to the right of that big middle one has all of its little 10 point blox level with your camera, and their almost, but not quite, in a straight line. Aim for the middle of that line. Then turn your camera around to where you started, low and in the middle. You should see, in the top left, oppisite of where you threw your second bomb, a tall thin minus point blox with a point blox on top. Aim for where the two meet, and silver is yours. Down Fall Unlocked by: Get a medal on Razed Bronze: 100 points Silver: 125 points *Gold: 150 points Gold here is very tricky, but possible. Don't ever move your camera. I'll tell you that now. Anyway, start by aiming for the edge of that minus point blox holding up that huge minus point blox, right at the level the numbers are at. Then detonate the bomb when it nears where all the point blox are. This should get you mostly point blox. For your second throw, get your cursur at the point of the topmost tower of that cotttage in the backround to the left, in between that little outer part that's on its own, and the main structure. Throw your bomb, and detonate it when its over the blox. Do this for the right side, except this time use that tent outside the gate on the right, and detonate the bomb over the blox. If you timed your detonations well, gold is yours. ----- Tiki! - CAT ----- ------- No Exit Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Escape puzzles. ------- In a Jam Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Escape puzzles Bronze: 2:30 seconds Silver: 2:34 seconds *Gold: 2:40 seconds This level is easy when you know what to do. To start, pull out the blox directly in fron of the gorilda. Then below here and to the right of where you start is a long blox. Move it to the left (this is assuming your looking from the same side as where the gorilda starts). This will let you pull out the blox behind it, which will make another blox fall, so you can pull out that blox closer to the babies out, which will let you pull a blox on the side of it you didn't pull it out by up, which was blocking a blox that is on about the same level as the first blox you moved to start this, so you can pull that out, which will make another blox fall, enabling you to pull out the last blox blocking your Gorilda's way. In short, once you move that first blox, you can go around and move the rest. Move fast, and gold is yours. Monsters Unlocked by: Get a medal on In a Jam Bronze: 2:34 seconds Silver: 2:40 seconds *Gold: 2:44 seconds This one takes some speed and precision grabbing. Look at the course from the side, so it looks really long, and the purple vanish blox are in the middle. Be above the level where the gorilda walks a bit. Then start. Immedietly start pulling out all the vanish blox in your gorilda's way, starting with those closest to the gorilda. However, leave the 3 stacked up right in front of gorilda. You can let those be hit away. If you can clear the path enough so gorilda never has to slow (much) you can get gold. If you need to, grab a tiki that dances too close to gorilda. I usually have to do 1 for each of the first waves, and maybe 2 for the second ones, at least one. If your fast, this should be manageable. Elevator Unlocked by: Get a medal on Monsters Bronze: 1:40 seconds Silver: 1:45 seconds *Gold: 1:48 seconds This one takes a steady hand at the end for gold. Wait for the gorilda to get near the edge of that first blox, and grab it to slide it forward with the gorilda's path. As soon as the gorilda has cleared any above parts (when you can move the blox up pretty much), yank it up as fast as you can. Some immovable blox will stop it from flying up, and the gorilda will be able to continue on. Then move that second blox under the gorilda, until it can't move to the side anymore. This one has to go down. If you let it drop, the gorilda will die. I suggest lowering it at a fast rate, but slow enough the gorilda doesn't start falling. If you do this all right and fast enough, gold is yours. Locked Up Unlocked by: Get a medal on Elevator Bronze: 2:15 seconds Silver: 2:25 seconds *Gold: 2:33 seconds The key here is to work quickly. Look at the course from above, closer to the baby gerts side. Start, and pull out the blox in front of gorilda by pulling it to either side. Then begins to long dismantling. Start by pulling out the blox near the bottom of the level that is closest to the baby gerts. You have to pull this blox out to the left. Then on the right, by the end of where the blox you just pulled out used to be, there should be a blox you can now pull out towards the baby gerts. This lets you pull out the blox on the bottom that is now closest to the baby gerts out to the right. Then you can pull out that blox near the bottom that's to the left, near the gorilda towards the baby gerts. The pull out that blox near the bottom right below where gorilda started. Rotate the camera so your looking at the area where that first blox you need to get to drop (the one closest to gorilda) is. There should be two short little blow holding up the blox. Pull them out, and the blox should fall. You may need to pull down the blox to get it all the way. For the next one, there should be a long, central blox holding it up. Pull that blox lower to the bottom of the level, then pull it out to the side. Again, you may need to pull down the center blox to get it all the way down. The next two should have already fallen, but may need to be pulled down themselves now. If you do this all quickly enough, you should get gold. Slip 'n' Slide Unlocked by: Get a medal on Locked Up Bronze: 1:04 seconds *Silver: 1:11 seconds Gold: 1:16 seconds I can't seem to figure out how the heck you are supposed to get gold here, so here goes silver. Just start from where the camera does. Your going to have to be fast here, just to survive. Grab away those two tikis and all blox not holding up that first normal blox on the second to highest platform. The moment gorilda gets onto that normal blox, pull out the chem blox holding it up. This should create a ramp for gorilda to walk down. No you have to worry about the second level. It's the same idea for the whole level. Take out the tikis and all blox, except for ONE holding up the normal blox. when gorilda gets onto that normal blox, pull out its last support. You may not have to really worry about the tikis as much on that last floor. I have done this, and I think if you do it perfectly, and let gorilda go right away by taking out that vanish blox at the very start, you can get gold, but I can't do it. Gear Works Unlocked by: Get a medal on Slip 'n' Slide Bronze: 2:10 seconds Silver: 2:15 seconds *Gold: 2:22 seconds Well I can tel how you should do this, but getting gold is going to take some very fast work. To do this level, look at it from above. Start it now. You should see, off to the side of the main walkway, a blox that runs parallel to to main walkway. Move it as close as you can to the baby gerts, allowing you to move a blox perpendicular to the main walkway closer to gorilda out more, allowing you to move the blox above the blox blocking gorilda. Move them to the side to allow you to see the blox currently blocking gorilda, and then pull that blox up. Wait for gorilda to go by (you can hear the footsteps, even if you can't see her) and then drop it. Repeat the whole moving top blox to move blox blocking gorilda until the last one, where you have to pull in that blox you pushed out to let you slide those upper blox (you may need to move the blox a bit to do this) so you can move that outer most blox close to gorilda, allowing you to pull out that blox near the gerts blocking the top parts from moving, and then letting you move the top parts, pull up the blox, and let gorilda get to her baby gerts. ----------- Cross Walks Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Crossing puzzles ----------- Equilibrium Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Crossing puzzles Bronze: 2: 15 seconds Silver: 2:25 seconds *Gold: 2:35 seconds This one takes some speed and timing on releasing gorilda, but gold is not ridiculous. Start by lowering your camera so your just above the bridges height. Then start, and work your way from the top down. Start with the big blox in the upper corners, then the tall pillar-like blox on the very outside. Then hit one of those pillars that are now the outer most pillars, hitting where they meet the long platform that's almost as long as the bridge. This should only leave the central structure standing. Release the gorilda. Then hit away all of the middle parts remaining one at a time. You should be able to do this long before the gorilda actually gets there. Be careful with the blox low and close to the bridge, so you don't accidentally hit the bridge and destroy it. I recommed lowering your camera if your having problems with this. Bomb Bridge Unlocked by: Get a medal on Equilibrium Bronze: 2:20 seconds Silver: 2:26 seconds *Gold: 2:34 seconds This one takes some luck for gold. Before you start, turn the camera so your just above where gorilda starts. Start, then hit that regular blox that is just beyond the first bomb blox. This should turn it so it sort of covers the first bomb blox. While this happens, turn the camera so your looking at the bridge from the side so the regular blox is blocking at least part of the bomb blox. Hit that regular blox to knock off the bomb blox, and let the gorilda go. Do this same sort of deal on the other side, but you have to take care of the middle too this time. I would try doing the same thing as before, hoping it either knocks of the middle tower, or lets you knock it off. Clean up any blox blocking the gorilda's path, and hope you did this fast enough for gold. Canopy Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bomb Bridge Bronze: 2:30 seconds Silver: 2:38 seconds *Gold: 2:40 seconds I haven't got gold myself here, but I have the theory behind it. Adjust your camera so you can just see the blox blocking gorilda's initial progress, and your about level with the bridge. Start, and hit out that blox blocking gorilda. Then you have to move very fast. Hit the chem blox, starting on top, from the top down. Do not hit the bomb blox. Your trying to get the chem blox movement to take the bomb blox away. Once you have done this only for the side closer to gorilda, which you should've started with, hit out the regular blox. Then do this for the side closer to the baby gerts, and take care of the middle. If your fast enough, didn't hit gorilda, and your bridge remains flat, gold is yours. If your having trouble with gorilda dying because you let it loose too early, wait to take out all the blox on the side closer to it, then let it go. This will get you bronze, but is much easier. Beguiler Unlocked by: Get a medal on Canopy Bronze: 2:10 seconds *Silver: 2:20 seconds Gold: 2:28 seconds The best I can come up with this level is not the most reliable thing but... hey, what works works, right? Anyway, lets get to the strategy. Start, and look at one of those four corner pillars by the four corner bomb blox. Look at it from where gorilda or the baby gerts start, depending on which side the pillar is on, so your closer to it, and your about level with the bridge, but a little higher. Then hit it with a gentle throw on the side that is shorter, but still really tall. It should fall against the bomb blox, out of the way. Do this for all four corner pillars. Then the middle blox are easy. Release gorilda, and being about level with the bridge when your throwing, blast off the middle blox, starting with those by gorilda. I *think* you can get gold if you do this fast enough and let gorilda start soon enough. Interlocking Unlocked by: Get a medal on Beguiler Bronze: 2:00 seconds *Silver: 2:30 seconds Gold: 2:37 seconds This one takes some luck in not accidentally setting off all the bombs here. Anyway, start things out by adjusting your camera so you have that central bomb blox on that one long blox in the middle of your screen. Hit the platform so it goes to one side and takes out the upper chem blox on that side. Then Change your camera so your level with and as close to as possible for one of the remaining upper chem blox. Hit that chem blox, taking out it and the bomb blox (by take out, I mean hit away, not blow up). Do this for both of the remaining chem blox. This is where I let gorilda go. Then just look at those two regular blox in the way, the smaller side, level with it, and blast it as far away as possible, starting with the one closer to the gorilda. This should get you a silver, gold if you can be very fast. Boom Box Unlocked by: Get a medal on Interlocking Bronze: 2:10 seconds Silver: 2:22 seconds *Gold: 2:28 seconds This is yet another one involving you trying to not blow up gorilda. Before you start the timer, adjust your camera so your looking at the level from the side and a little below the bridge. First hit out that really long chem blox beneath those three upper bomb blox. Then hit out that upper most chem blox. Try to hit these at slight angles so they knock the bomb blox off with them. Then. Hit out those big regular blox, and those outer chem blox that were supporting them. Then you might want to let gorilda go. The last few throws are a bit more luck based. Hit right inbetween one of the sets of two chem blox left, blasting the chem blox away, and do this for the other side as fast as you can. Then hit away any rubble, and unless your stuck with an unlucky bomb blox in the way, you should get silver at least, gold if you worked fast. ------------ Saving Grace Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Rescue puzzles. ------------ Step Ladder Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Rescue puzzles Bronze: 60 points Silver: 70 points *Gold: 80 points This is a tricky one at best. For the upper most pair of 10 point blox, look at them from above, and slowly slide them out. If the baby falls, don't sweat it. You only need one surviving baby to continue and get a gold. Once you have taken care of those two, the tricky part begins. I just try to make it so I'm level with my target blox, grab it, and yank it down and away as fast as I can, hoping no minux blox fall with it. Not very reliable, but you can medal with it after a few trys. Idol Unlocked by: Get a medal on Step Ladder Bronze: 20 points Silver: 40 points *Gold: 50 points This one takes a steady hand. At the start, not really. Just dismantle that thing on top. I just throw it all up and to the side, and its gone. Just leave that platfrom for the babies to stand on. Then, starting with the upper-most one up, pull out the point blox. I try to pull them out diagonally, so they just come out in between the two minus blox. If one side gives you extra room, try scooting the blox to that side, then pulling it out. With a steady hand, gold is yours. Down in Flames Unloced by: Get a medal on Idol Bronze: 80 points Silver: 90 points *Gold: 100 points This one isn't too bad, it just looks that way. I start at the top, but order doesn't really matter here. Anyway, for those top most ones, just make it so your camera is about level with them, looking at their long sides, and pull them out. Don't worry about the baby gerts falling--you have 2 more, and they should never be in danger. Then look at one of the sides, where there are two 10 point blox on each side, one on each side of the regular blox. Look at those, when your level with them, and pull them out. Then do that for the other side. Then you should be able to get those last two in the middle by looking at their long sides from about where you pulled out those 10 point blox sandwhiched inbetween those minus 10 point blox you just pulled out. Pull out the 10 point blox, and you should get gold. Centerpeice Unlocked by: Get a medal on Down in Flames Bronze: 40 points Silver: 60 points *Gold: 80 points This is a tricky one. Before you pull out the point blox for a level, pull the minus point blox on that level so that they're in the middle of the two regular blox they're stuck inbetween. Then pull out the point blox for that level. Do all of this so your level with the level your working on. If you do this all right, gold is yours. Sleigh Ride Unlocked by: Get a medal on Centerpeice Bronze: 40 points Silver: 60 points *Gold: 80 points Gold here is hard, but possible. The way I did it was start by looking at the level from above. Pull out one blox on the top level, then (quickly, but not moving anything too fast), pull out the other blox on the top level. The pile of minus 10 blox should fall down one level, along with you baby gerts, and you should be fine. For levels with more than two blox on it, take out all of the smaller blox first (the two small ones), then pull out the big one. You have to move fast on a level to get through this. Once you have it so the tower of minus 10 point blox is on top of the bottom two long and skinny point blox, pull those out buy pulling them to the side from above. If your fast, careful, and lucky, gold is yours. If the tower does fall, don't sweat it too much. Just dismantle the tower (slower now, since you can afford it) and don't let any more minus point blox fall, and bronze should be a piece of cake. Ziggurat Unlocked by: Get a medal on Sleigh Ride Bronze: 70 points *Silver: 90 points Gold: 110 points This takes some luck, which I don't like using, but its all I can seem to come up with for this level. Start by taking off every non minus point blox from that top platform the baby gerts are on, starting with the big blox on top, and working your way down. Then pull out the three 10 point blox that are cubes on the one side of the area below the platform with the baby gerts. This should *hopefully* make the two of the baby gerts safely land on the platform the middle 10 point blox was on. Then just look at the longer side of the 10 point blox remaining, and pull them out one at a time. -------- Western! - CAW -------- ----------- Gold Miners Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Gold Mine puzzles ----------- Idle Mines Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Gold Mine puzzles Bronze: 120 nuggets Silver: 130 nuggets *Gold: 140 nuggets Gold is possible with some lucky bounces. Use your first throw to hit that to group of little blox with a bomb, near the center. Then for your second throw, Hit one of those single, little blox in a group to create a tiny hole for the mining. Throw a bouncy ball or two into the hole, and hope you get enough for gold. If your just 1 shy of getting a certain medal, I would just nail a blox that hadn't been turned to gold yet on the outside, just to guarantee your medal. Jackpot Unlocked by: Get a medal on Idle Mines Bronze: 80 nuggets Silver: 90 nuggets *Gold: 100 nuggets Hit one of those surrounding bombs with your first throw, and just nail the blox around the hole on top for you second. Then for the mining, throw them all into the box of blox, and hope you manage to get them all to pull out a gold medal. Bird's Eye Mines Unlocked by: Get a medal on Jackpot Bronze: 120 nuggets Silver: 130 nuggets *Gold: 140 nuggets This one takes some luck too. If you look at one of the longer sides, you should see an area with some small 1 by 1 blox. Nail the middle of the set of three of these, and you should make a small opening, and blox up the bomb blox inside. Then just look at the thing from above, and blast the bomb blox. Then just throw your bouncy balls inside, and hope you get enough blox for a gold medal. Reverb Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bird's Eye Mines Bronze: 30 nuggets Silver: 45 nuggets *Gold: 60 nuggets This one is trickier. I start by blasting the middle of the group of small blox on the outside of the main thing. Then pick one of the boards on the perimeter (I always go for on near the top, and the end of the line) and blow that blox away. Then throw in some bouncy balls at different angles, and hope for gold. Resonate Unlocked by: Get a medal on Reverb Bronze: 70 nuggets Silver: 80 nuggets *Gold: 90 nuggets This one really takes some luck. I start by blasting out the middle of one of the bottom rows of those little blox oppisite the side with the tall and long vanish blox. Then throw your second bomb away. Throw a bouncy ball into the hole you made, which should take off the top. Then try some more angled throws into the little tower of tiny blox, trying to get as many bounces as you can. If your lucky enough, gold is yours. Loose Load Unlocked by: Get a medal on Resonate Bronze: 40 nuggets Silver: 45 nuggets *Gold: 50 nuggets You have to be perfect for gold here, but it is still possible to get. Blast the structure with a bomb to get most of it to fall. Anywhere low seems to do a good job. Then use your second bomb to try and blow off any blox hanging out on those base ones. Then use your bouncy balls to get any remaing blox, likely all or mostly those base ones. Try angling your throws to get as many blox in one throw as you can, and if you get them all, gold is yours. ------------- More Blastin' Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Blastin' Site puzzles ------------- Casino Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Blastin' Site puzzles Bronze: 90 nuggets Silver: 120 nuggets *Gold: 150 nuggets I got emailed a better strategy for this from a Tony and Heather, so thanks! Anyway, the way you do this is to place each bomb blox (one at a time for Boots to detonate) in between two of the pillars that are one side that has three pillars on that side. I hope that makes sense. Anyway, put each bomb blox in between the two pillars one at a time (store the bomb blox way up on top of the structure so they don't get blown up too soon) and the thing should fall. I did one of the taller ones first, then the two little ones, then the last one was one of the tall ones, but whatever works for you. Shacks Unlocked by: Get a medal on Casino Bronze: 130 nuggets Silver: 210 nuggets *Gold: 260 nuggets This one isn't too bad. Put the bigger bomb blox in the center of the shacks (1 per shack), and then put the smaller one underneath it so it stands tall, and let boots do his thing. Gold should be a walk in the park. Abombination Unlocked by: Get a medal on Shacks Bronze: 70 nuggets Silver: 90 nuggets *Gold: 120 nuggets I found this one to be pretty easy. Look at the side of the base part of the structure. You should see some immovable blox sticking out just a little bit. Place once of your 1 by 1 bomb blox on the one that is near the middle height, and closer to boots. Put the other small blox on the part jutting out on the very bottom, closest to boots. This will create a chain of explosions, allowing you to put that last bigger bomb blox in between those two 10 point blox on that lowest chem blox. Let boots do his thing, and the thing should fall, earning you gold. Lattice Unlocked by: Get a medal on Abombination Bronze: 140 nuggets Silver: 180 nuggets *Gold: 210 nuggets This one is easy. Just stack all four of your bomb blox on the inside of one of the four base pillars (so the bombs are on the side closer to the center of the structure) and let boots blow them up. This should bring the whole thing down. Anachronism Unlocked by: Get a medal on Lattice Bronze: 70 nuggets Silver: 90 nuggets *Gold: 120 nuggets The best I can come up with here is to put one bomb blox under each of those three big structures, near the middle. This will sometimes get you gold, sometimes bronze. Give it a few shots, and gold should be yours. Up and Over Unlocked by: Get a medal on Anachronism Bronze: 160 nuggets Silver: 250 nuggets *Gold: 260 nuggets This is kind of a fun one. Put that little bomb blox by that little chem blox near the tower with a chem blox at the base, on the side of the course the teeter-totter is up. Line it up so that bombs explosion will send the little chem blox into the chem blox tower's base chem blox. Then put one of your bomb blox on top of the big structure on that side (the one where the teeter totter is up) on the very top, in between the chem blox up there and one of the long 10 point blox. The other bomb blox can be put out of the way so boots doesn't go for it. I put it on the teeter totter. If you get that tower with the chem blox on top to his the bigger chem blox on that side, then gold is yours. -------------- Bandits Return Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Bandit Blast puzzles -------------- Evildoers Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Bandit Blast puzzles Bronze: 3 cows Silver: 4 cows *Gold: 5 cows This one can be a pain at first. Basically, you have to hit those bomb blox early before they get to your cows. If a bomb gets too close, and you can tell it would hit your cows, let it go. Better to lose one cow than 3 or 4. If you want gold, I suggest aiming for where the bombs are thrown by the monkeys. If you hit the bombs early enough, it will take out the monkey nearby, making life much easier. You can beat this stage in six seconds if you hit those first bombs early enough. If you can't blow up the monkeys, I suggest to hit A as fast as you can to try and hit the bombs, and work fast. Hide n' Seek Unlocked by: Get a medal on Evildoers Bronze: 3 cows Silver: 4 cows Gold: 5 cows This is easy if your fast. Hit the top of one of those tall regular blox on side so it falls, exposing a bomb blox. Blast the bomb, and the monkeys will be taken care of. If you move fast enough, you can take care of the monkeys before they get to throw a thing. If the monkeys do start throwing, blast the blox and resume that blowing up of the bomb blox ASAP--they throw fast enough you won't last long otherwise. Diving Board Unlocked by: Get a medal on Hide n' Seek Bronze: 3 cows Silver: 4 cows Gold: 5 cows Again, you have to be fast here. Hit out those two blox on the right part of the left structure. I hit near the top of the higher up one, and that usually works. When both are gone, the chem blox should be sliding down the ramp. When it gets about halfway (at/past the top right corner of the cube bomb blox), blast one of the bombs. It should send the chem blox into the monkeys little pen and blox them up. If you miss... try shooting as much as you can, or just restart. The monkeys will likely get off at least one round of throws or two, so watch out for that and blast away the blox. Cliff Diver Unlocked by: Get a medal on Diving Board Bronze: 3 cows Silver: 4 cows *Gold: 5 cows Another one where you have to move fast. Hit one of those bombs on the far left of the screen. This will cause a chain reaction, eventually dumping a bomb blox into the monkeys pen. Hit the bomb just before it falls in, and you should take out all of the monkeys. There will likely be some blox flying at you by the time the bomb is ready to be hit, so just mash A to get out a lot of shots. Corralled Unlocked by: Get a medal on Cliff Diver Bronze: 3 cows Silver: 4 cows *Gold: 5 cows This level a pain in the butt. Start by making it so you can just see the bomb blox in that tower that starts in the left most part of your screen. Start, and hit the bombs in that structure, and the next one. Your going to have to do all of this very fast if you want gold. Then take out the monkey in that corner tower. Rotate the camera to your right so you can see the next three towers, none of which you could see at the start. There should be one tower in the corner, and then one tower diagonal of that on on two side. Take out the right most tower first--there should be a monkey there you need to shoot. For all these towers, hit the bombs, then the little blox with stars on them. The bombs may be partially obscured sometimes, but in those cases, blast the heck out of them. Anyway, once you take out that right most tower, turn the camera to the right again. Stop once you can see two new towers. Take out the one on the right first--there should already be a monkey on it to take care of. Then take out that corner tower. Again, if you see the hint of a bomb blox, blast that area. Once those two towers are out, rotate to your left, back to the second set of three towers. There should be two left. Blast them out. I start with the one on the left usually. Hit them with lots of shots to bring them down. If your fast enough and a little lucky, gold is yours. High Noon Unlocked by: Get a medal on Corralled Bronze: 3 cows Silver: 4 cows *Gold: 5 cows Your going to half to scramble for gold here. Turn your camera so you can just see the bomb blox in the right part of your screen that are in that tower that starts on the left from where you start. You should see three towers now. Start, and quickly use one shot on each tower to hait a bomb blox in it, any bomb blox. This should be very fast, and efficient. Turn the camera to your left nearly 90 degrees, so you see one little corner towers, and one big one in between. There should be a monkey who might be getting a throw off as you do this. Take out his blox and him. Then hit a bomb blox in the big tower, and one for that corner tower. Turn the camera to the left until you see another corner tower, blast one of its bomb blox, and then do this again. If you do this fast enough, gold is yours. Watch out for any incoming blox, and try to blast them by hitting A a lot as you aim. You do not want them taking out your kittens with a long range throw. Then I suggest, while fending off the monkeys and zombies, to topple all of the towers in front of your kittens path so they do not fall on your kittens. Make sure to keep the way clear so your kittens aren't slowed down. Take out the monkeys first, then the zombies. Poison Path Unlocked by: Get a medal on Doom and Gloom Bronze: 3 kittens Silver: 4 kittens Gold: 5 kittens This one isn't too bad. Blast all of the bombs that aren't too close to the kittens at the start, and hit the chem blox off as well on that side if you can. The zombies don't come too much, so it shouldn't be too hard to keep them back. Watch out for the monkeys--one chem blox can bring you down from gold to nothing. To keep the cloud blox at a low level, hit them with the ghost gun to hit them down. Try to keep the level difference between the cloud blox minimal so your kittens don't fall to their death. Rain of Terror Unlocked by: Get a medal on Poison Path Bronze: 3 kittens Silver: 4 kittens Gold: 5 kittens Start by blasting those blox that aren't pumpkin blox out of your kittens way, while hitting away any and all chem blox that materialize. Take out that zombie at some point. Once the blox are out of your kittens way, you just have to wait for a chem blox to appear, and hit it. DO NOT hit the cloud blox, or whatever blox it is, the chem blox are on. If that falls out of place, the chem blox fall straight down to other chem blox, making things only harder. After awhile a zombie will come from where the kittens started, but they shouldn't cause any major problems. Just blast the zombies and the chem blox, and you'll be fine. Pit of Peril Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rain of Terror Bronze: 3 kittens Silver: 4 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens I'm not going to lie--this level takes some luck to get gold on, and even beat sometimes. Anyway, start out by hittin that vanish blox on the leftmore cloud blox. Do this right away--it can make or break your attempt at beating this level. Then kill that monkey, and hit away the vanish blox under the rightmost cloud blox. Then, when the leftmost cloud blox is up high enough, hit out that chem blox below it with a lot of gun shots. Once that chem blox is out, be ready for a chem blox to appear up high in between the cloud blox. Once that chem blox appears, hit it a few times (I go for 5-7) to slow it down as long as it has that back thing. It should land on the cloud blox, sending it down, and if your timing is lucky, you shouldn't lose any kittens. The cloud blox should go down. Again, if your lucky enough, the kittens will get to the middle platform unharmed. The cloud blox on the right should have fallen down by now and have a chem blox on it. Let the kittens destroy the multi-hit blox to let the ones in the back catch up. Then once all of them have dissapeared from sight, hit out the chem blox, letting the cloud blox up. The kittens should make it to the pumpkin blox. I have had so many things go wrong different times here, it will take luck to get gold. The Stench Unlocked by: Get a medal on Pit of Peril Bronze: 3 kittens Silver: 4 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens This one is a little annoying at times. Start by taking out that monkey, and then hit away all of the chem blox on those towers. Take out any blox in the kittens path, while blasting away every monkey as soon as you can, and trying to keep the stinkerton puffs population down. Usually just hitting a chem blox will send it flying far away, so unless your unlucky, or let too many stinkerton puffs get around and lay chem blox, gold shouldn't be too hard. Spooky Walk Unlocked by: Get a medal on The Stench Bronze: 3 kittens Silver: 4 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens This one just takes fast shooting. Blast the monkeys as they appear. Try to take out the ones who have been around longest. You'll learn their spawn points, so you'll know where to look for them. Just work fast--one chem blox is pretty much death for you here. ------------- Lonely Kitten Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Lost Kitten puzzles. ------------- Incline Unlocked by: Get a medal on Spooky Walk Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:30 seconds *Gold: 0:40 seconds This one isn't too bad. Just remove that blox right in front of the kitten, then the corresponding one on the other side. Just put them off to the side. Do this for every pair in front of the kitten. Leave that last blox behind the kitten to block the zombies. Take that blox closest to the pumpkin blox, and use it to create a wall to block the zombies. Just do this with all of your blox, and you should be able to get gold, no problem. Triple Beam Unlocked by: Get a medal on Incline Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:40 seconds *Gold: 0:45 seconds This one is a bit trickier. I usually move those blox on the side to that central spawn point to block of the zombies. Then I move those two central blox so they block that zombie that start near where the pumpkin blox is. This may tilt things toward the pumpkin blox, but that's okay. Make sure to block off the zombies from the spawn point, and that one that starts on his own. Move any blox in your kittens way, and things should work out fine. Bomb Bridges Unlocked by: Get a medal on Triple Beam Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:35 seconds *Gold: 0:40 seconds This one sure is different. Basically, you have to keep one of those flat bomb blox on top of the multi hit vanish blox all the way to the pumpkin blox. Start out by building a half complete bride towards the pumpkin blox. I would use the multi hit vanish blox on the outside, since then you can use the bomb blox that are below them. Put these bomb blox on your multi hit vanish blox. You may need to move a bomb blox from the start to a later multi hit vanish blox, once the kitten is clear of the past blox. Use the chem blox to blow up the zombies from a safe distance. You may even be able to build a small wall near the end to block them. Try your best to get all the bomb blox you can, and not to blow any up once they're on your cats bridge. Alarming Elm Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bomb Bridges Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:30 seconds *Gold: 0:50 seconds Gold seems to take some luck, since any slight slowdown to your kitten will get you silver. Anyway, take the blox out of your kittens way and put them where those zombies on the right come from. Just one multi hit vanish blox should hold off the back zombies for awhile. Use some chem blox now to blow up some zombies, or the monkeys will blow up the chem blox. Build tall walls that block both sets of zombies, and keep your kitten safe. Try to make it so your walls start near where they appear, since you can't move them back that easily. Pumpkin Pyre Unlocked by: Get a medal on Alarming Elm Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:30 seconds *Gold: 0:45 seconds Start by taking apart the wall right in front of your kitten blocking it from the pumpkin blox tower. Put the blox in the general area of where the zombies spawn--you can worry about walls in a bit. Then, build walls to try and hold off the zombies. Try taking apart half of the top part of the pyramid, so the pumpkin blox falls down. Try to make it fall near that right spawn point. If you dig through enough of the pyramid, try using the chem blox to blow up some zombies. If you get that pumpkin to fall, and build enough walls to hold off the zombies, gold is yours. Remember to not slow down your kitten. Terror Tower Unlocked by: Get a medal on Pumpkin Pyre Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:20 seconds *Gold: 0:40 seconds The biggest enemy here is time. You can't let your kitten slow down at all, and even then you aren't guaranteed gold. Anyway, dismantle the wall in front of your kitten, and the take out all of the blox in the middle that aren't pumpkin. Put them in the vicinity of where the zombies appear. The monkeys throwing chem blox and the tall walls should take care of the zombies for you. Just try to keep your kitten moving, and build up the walls. If your lucky, gold is yours. ---------- Doom Tombs Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Grave Battle puzzles. ---------- Dead of Night! Unlocked by: Get a silver or better on all Grave Battle puzzles Bronze: 2 kittens Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 4 kittens This one isn't too bad. Just throw baseballs at the oncoming zombies. When there aren't any getting too close, throw a baseball at and take out those two vanish blox in oppisite corners of the front more tower. This should cause most of the pumpkin blox to fall down. Continue to hit the zombies, and when you have a lapse in their attack, hit off a pumpkin blox or two. If you watch the zombies, and aim well, you should get gold. The Horrors Unlocked by: Get a medal on Dead of Night! Bronze: 3 kittens Silver: 4 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens Your weapon is the skull ball now, which disspears after it hits something, and arcs up. I personally hate the thing. Anyway, throw it at the advancing zombies. I recommend aiming low (at their feet) because the way this skull ball arcs, you'll throw over them now and then. When there's a chance, focus on the pumpkin blox. I recommend taking out the multi-hit vanish blox in the bottom corners causing the thing to sort of collapse. Then to get out a pumpking blox, take out any blox above or next to it. Then a couple throws should get it off. The back five pumpkin blox are easy. The middle one has a bomb blox at the base of the tower. Once you can see it, hit it. This should take care of the middle three for you. For the outer two, you can try hitting the chem blox into each other (just aim for the one closer to you, its small square side). If that doesn't work, take out the vanish blox and knock out the pumpkin blox. Defenseless Unlocked by: Get a medal on The Horrors Bronze: 2 kittens Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 4 kittens This one is harder. To get the pumpkin blox behind the wall, aim near the base of the towers to get the bouncy ball to bouce behind the wall and take them out. Focus on these towers first. Hit the advancing zombies, and when they aren't too many, go for the pumpking blox. The towers on the side are cake. Just hit out the lower pumpkin blox first, and hopfully the upper one will fall too. If not, keep trying. Gold may take some luck, since there seems to be the unlucky event of the bouncy balls taking out one or more of your kittens sometimes. Peril Perch Unlocked by: Get a medal on Defenseless Bronze: 2 kittens Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 4 kittens Start out by hitting out one of the bottom vanish blox for those four towers. Hit out the same side one each time (Hit out the righer more one each time). Then take care of any advancing zombies. When you get a chance, work on one of the four corner sets of three pumpkin blox. Try hititng the one highest up first, and work your way down from there. Try hitting the pumpkin blox from the side too. This stage can get hectic, but keep the zombies back, and blast those pumpkin blox, or you'll be here all day. I try to angle the camera so I have a good view of three places the zombies come from, but can see the back zombies before they are pounding away at the blox your kittens are on. Blast the zombies and the pumpkins. Hallowscream Unlocked by: Get a medal on Peril Perch Bronze: 2 kittens Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 4 kittens The bomb has the most ridiculously large blast radius ever. That said, don't hit anything closer than the nearest pumpkin blox, or you will blox up your kittens. I recommend trying to hit 3-4 pumpkin blox off right away, then take care of the zombies. They usually will mostly come from one or two sides. When there's a break in the attack, go for a pumpkin blox. Go for the outer ones first, then the inner ones. The zombies actually take care of some of the inner pumpkin blox for you. Aim for those pillars just inside of those outermost most corner pillars. Always try to no blow up your cats. If a zombie is right at the blox your kittens are on, try your best to just get him. If your not going for gold, you can lose the kitten. If you want gold, just aim out, and hope you get him. I don't have a lot left to say. Try to work fast at getting the pumpkin blox off, because the zombies only get worse, since later on there's nothing to stop them. Pumpkin Pit Unlocked by: Get a medal on Hallowscream Bronze: 2 kittens Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 4 kittens This level sucks, no doubt about it. You will need a lot of luck and patience it you want to ever have a shot at gold on this level. I have gotten gold on this level, so it is possible. When the level starts, you should see a tower in the corner, with a big pumpkin blox on top, and some smaller ones on top of pillars at the base of that one. Get rid of all the pumpkin blox in this tower now, because they're too hard to get rid of later. If you can't get this tower's pumpkin blox out in your first few throws, just restart unless you want to practice this level more or something. Once you do that, turn your camera so your looking straight down at the kittens. This should give you a good look at any incoming zombies. Hit any and all zombies that you can see this way, hitting the closer ones first. I personally take out the skeleton guys before the little grim reapers because they destroy the blox the kittens are on a lot faster. By the way, it doesn't matter if you kill the zombie right as they destroy the blox. If they get rid of the blox, they get rid of the kitten. When you can see no advancing zombies when your looking straight down at the kittens, you can look up, and usually get off 1 shot at the pumpkin blox. This is a slow strategy, but the only thing I ever came up with that kept me alive. I recommend taking out the pumpkin blox in the corners first, since those will only come down that way. Then I would go for the two walls on oppisite sides. To make these a lot easier, hit the vanish blox on either end of them one at a time (let the wall fall before you hit the other vanish blox--fend off the zombies for awhile). This should take care of most of the pumpkin blox. Then a throw (two if its stuck a bit) should take care of all remaining pumpkin blox for the wall. For the pillars of pumpkin blox, go for these last, since I usually wind up having a few fall over when I haven't even gone for them yet. Anyway, hit the pumpkin blox to knock it off. If you don't want to take too long on the taller towers, try hitting one of the lower blox out of place so you hopefully make the whole tower fall. Remember, while your doing all of this, you need to look at the kittens from straight above them and fend off the zombies. When you don't see any coming, take a shot at the pumpkin blox. Note that if any of your kittens goes away for whatever reason (you hit it with a baseball, a zombie's dying body knocked it off the blox, etc) you will not have that kitten count towards your final score. If the zombies weaken a blox, adjust the camera so you can see them zombies coming for that blox sooner. The oppisite is true if you lose a kitten and you don't care about gold yet, and continue on. Make it so you see the zombies coming at the corner last--they will take longer to get to your other kittens. This level seems to be incredibly hard and can be very unfair, but good luck, and I hope my strategies help you out. ------ Party - PTY ------ ------------ Competitive - PVP ------------ ----- Throw - PvPT ----- ----------------- Tiki Tower Topple ----------------- Teaser These sorts of levels are tricky. If one person manages to topple most of the tower, they pretty much have it in the bag. To do this, you can usually get it to fall by hammering away at the bottom. However, someone may come in and get the reward for your work. I recommend start at the top for some fast points, and nailing the bottom when it looks weak. For this level, try hitting the top parts bottom of the blox from below to cause the most movement and get yourself the most points. Those pillars around the base 50 point blox aren't really support, so wait until you think you can cause the 50 point blox, or some other base blox, to move to hit the bottom. Until then, get points off of the top. Two I think this level gets its name from the fact it takes two throws to cause most of the tower to fall. To get it in two throws, you have to take out two adjacent sets at the base of a vanish blox (you can see the ends of them) and the point blox sticking out next to it. Wait for someone else to try taking out the base, doing the first part, so you can come in and clean up. Until then, knock blox off the top part. Try hitting the blox sticking out from below on their bottom, knocking off a good deal of blox for yourself. Tiny My friends and I never seem to be able to get the towers to topple each other when the fall, so don't really try to get that. It usually takes about two throws to topple the towers. One throw near the bottom to get rid of some of the perimeter blox, then the other to take out this base blox standing up like a pillar. Try to let your opponents do the first throw so you get the second one and get the points. While you wait for that, blast the point blox from the top first. Try hitting where the group of 3 point blox standing tall like pillars meet the 9 point blox, from below. This usually yields good results. Work your way down unless you have a chance to topple a tower. Toss This one is trickier. Start at the top, hitting where some of the blox meet. It usually takes a throw or two to get the first ones to fall. Ignore the 50 point blox for now--you won't be able to budge it for now. Once some point blox fall out, hit where some blox nearby meet to get them to fall out. If there are less blox touching it, the easier it is to hit out. When most of the surrounding area of the 50 point blox is gone (near 50%), hit it on the bottom from below, and it should fall over. Then take care the other blox, starting with the ones closer to the middle. If it gets down to one column of blox, try hitting out the base blox to make most of them fall. If you can get that 50 point blox, you'll have a big advantage, but don't spend all day on it--there are a lot of 25 point blox out there. Trick The bottom will take a few throws to take out--once two sides have no pillars, and you can hit out that central pillar, you should hit out the center pillar to try and get the thing to fall. Work on the top first--there is a group of a lot of 20 point blox concealed near the top. Try hitting some blox that are up there a bit, let someone else expose the group, and nail the middle of the bottom set of 3, which should get you all 6, and 120 points. If you get that, then just go for 20 point blox on down the tower, you should win, unless someone gets most of the tower. Tough Don't really worry about the bottom much on this one until the end. It takes a lot to get this thing to fall. Try hitting some of the blox off of that 50 point blox on top. It doesn't seem possible to get the 50 point blox off in one throw, so hope your after whoever does try to send it off, so you can get the points. Then hit the 25 point blox off. If someone's trying to get the bottom, let them. It takes too much time and doesn't get you enough points here. If the bottom is getting hammered, go ahead and join in if you think you can get the topple. Otherwise stick with working top to bottom, going for the higher point blox. Tall This one takes a couple throws at least to take out the whole tower. If someone does do something to weaken the bottom, try to finish the job if you think you can, taking out as much of the sides of the blox as you can. Do not hit the bomb blox near the bottom. They don't really make the tower fall, but set it up so whoever's next is in a great position, and your in trouble. Try hitting the top first. Get rid of that top group of 2 and 10 point blox, then blast off those 50 point blox. I you angle your throw, you can usually get out that 50 point blox pillar, and some of the 25 point blox around it. Don't try to be the one to make the tower topple unless its already been started. Thunder Go ahead and hit the bomb blox at the start. Hit that big one--it actually gives you over 100 points on a good one. Also, hit those bomb blox way out on their own with the chem blox and some point blox. This is 90 points each. Then work from the top down. Try hitting the corners of the 25 point blox to get them to fall, and try and angle it so they take some other blox with them. Work your way down, trying to get as many high point blox as you can. Don't bother with that big base 50 point blox until there's no other blox that could hold it back slightly. It's a hard one to move. ------------ Numbers Game ------------ Have Sum Fun Use your first throws to line up some good shots. Go for the highest point blox you can use, and line it up so the number obscures the 10x multiplier, and hit them in the middle. This should get you the 10x multiplier. If you find yourself in a good lead, you could look at all the blox on the platform from the side, and hit them from the side, knocking off as many as you can. I only would do this if you think you can spare giving the opponent an extra turn or something, since if you get the 10x multiplier with most blox, it's better than hitting off most of the point blox into no multiplier. Pyramidal This one is a little harder to get the 10x, but it's still better than trying to hit the blox of the platfrom from the side. To get the 10x, angle your camera just above the blox, line up your shot so a straight shot will hit the 10x, and hit the middle. If ever in doubt, hit a little higher to hit the blox lower. If you go too low, you just get a lower multiplier. Too high, and you won't get a single multiplier. Hockey Goal Getting the 10x multiplier is a lot harder here. The theory I have is if you aim with your camera above the blox a bit, hit it in the middle, and have your shot aimed low for the center of the backboard, you should get the 10x. This one is very hard to do. Unless you can get the 10x, it may actually be better to just look at the 10 point blox from the side, and hit them, trying to knock as many off as you can. If you can't do well, you might as well drag down everyone else's score at least. Backboard Another one where getting the 10x is hard enough, hitting out all point blox may be better. If you want to try and get the 10x, I recommed lining up your shot so it's a straight one to the 10x, except you look at the point blox from above more, so you hit where they meet the platform they're on, and then send them arcing into the 10x multiplier. Start with the stacks of two 10x blox, since then you send out two blox at least. Enveloped Start with the groups closest to the 10x. Hit the center of them, trying to send them into the 10x multiplier. Then it gets more choosy. You can try and get lucky and get a lot of points by hitting the edge of one of those stacks of two 10 point blox into the 10x, or hit one of the groups of four by the 4x multplier on the side away from the 4x, so they go into the 4x. Safer, but you won't get as many points. Once all the groups of fours and those pairs of two by the 10x are gone, hit the pairs of two either into the 3x, or go for the higher multipliers at greater risk. Always try to hit as many blox off as you can. Every blox you knock off is one your opponent doens't. Multiplier Go for the blox that aren't blocked by anything first. Try to angle them into the 10x multiplier, or the highest one you can by hitting their side. Hitting out that 50 point blox can be done from the start, and you get a decent amount of points. You may want to do that if you can't really get the multipliers. Do your best to not hit the minus point blox into the multipliers, since it will hurt a lot. If the chance presents itself, you may want to try hitting a row of blox all into a multiplier. This gives your opponents less blox to use to try and beat you. I would use this if your in the lead more than if your behind. -------- Plumbing -------- Jammed Like it says, pumpking blox are worth 10 points each, so go for those. Start like you would any plumbing level by hitting a blox that sticks out. After that, you should be able to hit the side of the blox just above that bottom layer on the sides out and get lots of points. When the pumpkin blox fall down, focus on them. None of the point blox are more than 10 points, so going for the pumpkin blox is always better for you. Once your halfway through, try hitting out a blox on the bottom so it pushes a bunch of other blox off. Backed up Aim for the middle of the pillars to start. Just try to get a pillar to fall. If you see a chance to get a couple pumpkin blox insted go for it. As things progress, hitting the pillars should unleash more points for you, but at the start you won't be getting a lot. Just hang on for the pillars to fall for you since you usually earn a few pumpkin blox at least this way. If someone else sets up a good deal of pumpkin blox for you, feel free to take advantage of the moment. Overflowing Start by hitting those blox that stick out from the side. If your worried about those chem blox, hit them from the side, and should fall off harmlessly. After a few throws, you should have a big pile of blox in the middle. I usually look at it from below, and hit a blox near a corner, hoping it will push a lot of other blox off. Another good method is to chuck a baseball at a blox a little below the center height of the pile. Either way, try to clear as many blox in one throw as you can. Don't really worry about the chem blox. You can usually do better on the center pile in the middle. Later on though, the chem blox explosions, if done right, can get someone a good chunk of points. If you don't think you can get it, or don't want anyone else getting it, try just blasting off any and all chem blox. Near the end, there should be some blox on that lower, outer ring. Hit one blox at the end of that thing, hopefully pushing all of them off, and getting you a good chunk of points. After that it's just cleaning up a few stray blox. Drained Start by hitting those blox that stick way out from the side. After this, just try to knock blox off until you have the pumpkin blox pouring down. Then try to hit large groups of them off. I would try pushing them by hitting one blox into them. This should improve your chances of getting the blox to fall into the 2 times multiplier. After this, just hit away blox. Try to not the chem blox to connect. If you aren't the one to get that explosion, your in trouble, so just blast the chem blox away while clearing other blox. If you can get the chem blox explosion to get you all those points, go for it, but don't set it up for someone else. ----- Blast - PvPB ----- ----------- Gunslingers ----------- Quick Draw Start off by shooting as much as you can right where the 5 point blox appear, then just hit blox as soon as you can. I recommend going for mostly 10 point blox, and the getting any and all 25 and 50 point blox as soon as they appear. It doesn't matter if your shooting at a 10 point blox, go for it. Those points are worth a lot in this game. Marksman If you don't like the bandits throwing rocks at the blox, blast three of them, but leave one. Then they won't respawn, and you only have one monkey on your hands. Anyway, hit as many point blox as you can as early as you can. After they start appearing, you may just want to mash A aiming for where the 25 point blox appear, going for any nearby blox. If you see the 50 point blox coming, go for them right away. If you get the 50 point blox, you should have a very good chance of winning. Deadeye Again, hit any blox you can early on, and then just mash A aiming for where the 25 point blox come in. If anyone manages to blast either of the rear chem blox, watch for some 50 point blox to come shooting out of there after awhile. If you can get most of the 25 point blox, you should be good. If you have a point where no 25 point blox are coming, move your cursur up or down a bit to get any straggling 10 point blox or 5 point blox that are appearing. Boot Hill This one is a bit different than the others. The blox appear in the air, then fall. Start by blasting where the blox spawn. After a bit, there should be so many blox coming there's just a sea of them. Things can get pretty laggy here, so be warned. Try just mashing A to blast as many blox as you can, and get as many tiny point blox as you can, since they're 25 points. DO NOT hit a minus 50 point blox, since they hurt a lot here. Just don't spam A when your aiming near them, and you should be fine. Long Shot This one can also slow down once things get going. Start out by blasting as much as you can where the 5 and/or 10 point blox appear. Try to not hit the minus point blox in the back by simply not missing. Once any 25 point blox appear (50 point blox too), blast them right away. They usually come in at least pairs (one will come, then once its gone, another will come), so be ready for that. Skywards This one takes some sharp shooting. There will be a couple far off 50 point blox shot off at the start. Try to not just spam shots at it, but line up a shot early in its path, then blast it. Spamming at it usually doesn't get you the 50. Once the 10 point blox start appearing, try to pick one of those three center streams of 10 point blox, and blast each one (start early in the stream so that you don't have someone else stealing your blox) while keeping an eye out for any of those 50 point blox. If you see one, get it ASAP. Try to not hit the minus 10 point blox by not missing, and no firing where they go. ------------ Shove of War ------------ Nudge-o-war This is a fast stage if you know what your doing. Start by hitting where one of the bottom 10 point blox meets any blox around it (I go for one of the lower corners). Blast it, and the 10 point blox and some 5 point blox should fall onto your opponents side, getting you points. Do the same for the other lower 10 point blox, then the upper two. Your opponent should be doing something, but don't worry about it if you get all of the 10 point blox. If you can get all four of them and some fives, your set. Don't bother with the 1 point blox until the end. When a blox is falling onto your side, shoot it to try and knock it back over. Bump-o-war Start off by aiming in the middle of the top edge of that big 25 point blox, and hole A. If you get the 25 point blox on your opponents side, it should bring enough other blox with it so your in good shape to win. After the middle has falled, go for other chunks of blox, like the lower corners. Don't bother trying to shoot blox back on this one. It's too hard with the firehose. Also, your water will fall a bit below where you aim, so take that into consideration, as well as the fact there's a bit of a delayed reaction in waiting for the water to get to the wall. Pop-o-war Start out by blasting one of the 25 point blox on top to your opponents side. Then do the other one on top, then the bottom two (two shots each should do it). Realistically, you likely will get 2 (3 if your opponent is slow or something). If you get all four 25 point blox, and not any minus 5 point blox, you've won. Your opponent can only get 90 points. Anyway, just blast the 10 point blox, starting at the top. Maybe let your opponent shoot out the bottom ones near the end if things are unstable--they may lose more than they gain. Flood-o-war Start out the same way--aiming for the top of the big blox in the middle. If your opponent doesn't fire at the 50 point blox too, your good to go. If they do (which they should), then once the middle collapses, things should be close. Blast away any straggling blox, but leave alone the 10 point blox on the sides surrouned by minus blox. Usually this comes down to who loses more. Let your opponent go for those blox. Remember, you still have a delayed reaction and your shot going lower, so take that into consideration when aiming. Knock-o-war Start out by aiming for the top of that big center 50 point blox. Once it falls over, start cleaning up by blasting other blox. Remember your bowling balls will fall lower than where your cursor is, and the reaction is delayed. Try taking out the bottom rows first to create chain reactions. Dust Devils This one is different. Definetly hold down A the whole time for more power. Try to blast blox before they hit the ground, making your opponents life worse. Don't worry about the huge 50 point blox too much. Go for it, but don't spend forever fighting for it. Really, it's two 25 point blox, and not that much for all the work. DO avoid those minus 50 point blox, since those hurt a lot too, but are much more common. Just keep your aiming thing away from them. The chem blox and bomb blox seem to be there just for explosions, so don't worry about them. Blast away, and good luck. ---- Grab - PvPG ---- -------------- Free Dismantle -------------- Dovetail Start at the top here. If possible, take out the first two levels by taking out each blox one at a time, starting from one side and working your way over. When you get to the middle, you should leave at least three of those small pillars (the middle one and two more so it's a diagonal line). Pull out some of the bottom blox at the edge, try not to let too many blox fall, and don't be the one to have the minus 10 point blox fall. Stilts Start by taking out the outer groups of blox. When all of those are gone, pull out the blox inside the four tall skinny blox, starting from the top down, alternating so your looking at the long side of the blox your pulling. If it comes down to the skinny blox, pull out some blox so you leave two oppisite corner blox, and hope your aren't stuck pulling out one. High Chair You want to start at the top on this thing, and work your way down, doing one corner at a time. Order doesn't really matter, just don't always have the minus 10 point blox falling one way, or it will fall off for you sooner. The idea is to have someone else screw things up first. Do this the whole way down, try to not set off a chem blox reaction, and not make the minus 10 point blox fall. Crosshatch Pull out the blox sticking out the aren't in the middle, then do the same for the blox standing up. Basically, just pull out blox (work top to bottom) away from the middle as long as you can, hoping someone else brings down the minus 25 blox first. Tea Tray Start at the top by pulling out some blox up there. Do this until the two base blox are leaning in on each other. Then you can just pull blox out of the middle area. Hopefully one of your opponents will go for an outer blox, which should doom them. If not, then try removing 1 blox where there are more then one in place to support things, and hope you don't get left in a terrible situation. Bookends Start by taking off the blox in the middle. Then look at one of the two towers, at the blox just below the minus 10 point blox, but not touching it, standing up straight. Pull those out on both sides. If things are still standing after this, try removing the blox on the inside side of each tower for where you just removed them. Then start pull out the inner on of the sets of three blox holding up the structure. Try to hold out so you don't make the thing fall. Morning Star Start at the top, and remove all of the blox for the level the minus 25 point blox is on, starting at one side, and working your way over from there. do this on the way down until you get to the part where the minus blox is on the group of 3x3 pillars sticking up through the middle. Then take out those outer posts. If things are still standing, take out the four corner posts (or four middle posts) of that bottom group of 9 pillars. Hopefully after that, the next grab will bring down the house. Candelabra I don't have a lot here--I'm not very good at this level. Start at the top, removing any blox way out on their own, not really supporting anything. After that, work your way down to the second half of the structure with all those sets of blox going alternating directions. Pull out the middle blox (sometimes there are more than one) for each level, then try working at the top again, pullling out any excess blox and being careful, hoping you don't bring this thing down. --------- Gold Rush --------- Nuggets This is a pretty simple level. Just grab the blox (preferably in mid air) and swing them over into the side your supposed too. Grab blox closer to your side, and don't drag them all the way over. A good flick should send them on your way. If you can, aim to cause some mid air collisions to send the all of the colliding blox into your side. Grab the 10 point blox if possible over the 5's, and don't get the minus 5 point blox. Rain of Gold This one is a bit harder, since you have to grab the blox in mid air now. Use the same ideas as in Nuggets. Try to get collisions so the blox fly into your side, and don't drag the blox all the way over, and go for the highest point blox you can grab (some 25 point blox appear now and then) while avoiding the minus point blox. Struck Gold The 50 point blox are big here. Watch for them, and abandon whatever you have to get to them right away. On this level, grab the blox that appear farther away from your side, and yank them over. If your opponent has grabbed the other, the blox you grabbed should collide with another blox on the same route, simply mirrored, and they should both go in for you. Try and get the 10 point blox when you can, and avoid any minus point blox. Devil's Slide This one is different. Grab the blox, and yank them to your side, but make sure you shoot for the area where your side is, or you may just throw the blox away. Once things get moving, just grab as many 50 point blox (the tiny ones) as you can and throw them to yourself. Ignore all other blox for this, since those small blox are worth much more than anything else, and likely can't hit anything else into your area. --------- Dismantle --------- Apprentice Pull out the blox sticking out the aren't in the middle, then do the same for the blox standing up. Basically, just pull out blox (work top to bottom) away from the middle as long as you can, hoping someone else brings down the minus 25 blox first. If you keep getting stuck with a color, just work with it to try and pull out the center blox. If you ever get a choice, you want to work top to bottom in the middle. Ye Grid You want to pull out all the blox on a side, working from the top down. If you have to start a level lower than the top one (or two... or three...) then pull out middle ones if possible. Leave the outer ones. You don't want to tilt the whole tower. Saddle Sore Just pull blox out of the middle of this level. There are a lot there, so color shouldn't be much of an issue. Start at the top, and work your way down. Hopefully someone else will be dumb enough to go for the outside first, and bring the whole thing to tip over. If you get stuck on pulling apart the outsides, then pull out the parts that have multiple blox in place out first, then hope for the best. Jester Start by pulling out as many of those long sideways blox as you can, that are not in the middle of the three. Do this from top to bottom. Then, from top to bottom again, outside to inside, pull out the little blox going the oppisite way. If it gets down to just the long blox, pull them out from the top first, and hope your opponent messes up before you do. Crosswise Start at the top, and remove all of the blox for the level the minus point blox is on, starting at one side, and working your way over from there. do this on the way down until you get to the part where the minus blox is on the group of 3x3 pillars sticking up through the middle. Then take out those outer posts. If things are still standing, take out the four corner posts (or four middle posts) of that bottom group of 9 pillars. Hopefully after that, the next grab will bring down the house. Your probably not going to get this in order. All I can say is try to pull out the center blox, then the outer ones. Tall Spire Start by pulling out the blox in those four corner parts that stick out. They won't get you points, but you shouldn't cause any damage. Then you want to work your way from top to bottom. Try taking out the midle parts of the two levels just below the minus point blox. Then when thats done, you should see below those first outer structures you took apart, pairs of blox pillars holding things up. Remove one of each pair of these blox, and you should be fine. Then just try to remove what you can based on your color without causing things to fall down. Crowsnest I don't have a lot here--I'm not very good at this level. If you get an unlucky color, just skip to whatever you would go for next. The Jiggler This one is a doozy of a level. There's nothing concrete for me to go on here, since my friends and I never seem to be able to keep this thing standing for long. Try pullint outer blox that aren't really need, then the center blox that have outer blox to still support things on their level. Try to get a feel for this level, because I sure can't. ------ Attack - PvPA ------ ------------- Castle Attack ------------- Bunker Bash You start with two throws here. Take your time with them, since I'm pretty sure there is no way to win in two throws. I can get it in 5 though. For the first two throws, you should see a tower on each side, with four gem blox on top of it. Hit below that blox the gem blox is on, in between the skinnier, small blox and the bigger one in the corner on the bottom. Do this for each side, and you should earn at least 3, probably four or more, throws for the next round. Now you have to start moving faster, since your opponent now can beat you if they've been smart so far. Hit the center of the lower of the box right in the middle, directly in front of you. Then do a throw a couple blox over to the left and right. Sometimes this is enough, but usually you have to do a couple cleanup throws. With the two throws to the side, aim for where there are a lot of blox. Doesn't matter if you can't see the gem blox. If you can knock off the blox, the gem blox should get pushed off too. Fort Fire Your start with three throws here, but can take your time with them if you need too. Anyway, you should see four corner towers. To take care of them, use your first two throws, one on each side, to hit the tower on that side closer to you right in the middle of the big blox near the top. This should send it into the tower top behind it, and both should fall. Use your last throw to nail that big blox in the middle of the wall facing you (it has two tiny blox on top of it) in the middle. This should take care of that peice on the wall nearest you, and the one behind it. Then wait to get your throws--you should have plenty. Anyway, just nail in between the two blox to the side of that middle one you hit in the first round. This should take care of almost all of your opponents gem blox, though a cleanup throw or two may be needed. Outpost Oust This one is gives you four throws to start things off. Use the first two to hit where the gem blox and blox right below it meet for those two tower things off to each side, which should take care of the tower behind it. Then use your next two throws to hit in between the blox two over from the center one in that main wall near the back of the structure. Then when you get your throws (you should get a lot), hit them right in the middle of the back wall, then in the two corners. If your lucky, your done. More likely you'll need to take a throw or two to get a few stray gem blox here and there. Castle Crush This level is a bit longer to do. You get five throws this time, but again, take your time with them. You have to get pretty lucky to beat this in five throws. Anyway, start by hitting where those center blox and vanish blox meet. Then for each of those two corner towers, hit the blox just above that outer wall they have (three blox up, that one) for each side. With your last two throws, hit the lower part of each corner for the outer wall, making sure that the gem blox will fall off. Then you should get plenty of throws for the next round. I reccomend starting by hitting the base part nearest your in the corner for the tower tower things. Then just aim for where there are lots of blox, since its cleanup time. Spire Splash You get bombs now, and five throws to start. While you can win in five throws here, its a bit of luck, so you can still take some time with your first five throws. Start by hitting the two normal blox just the the side of that center support nearest you, on their inside. This should cause that center support (and the side ones) to fall off to the side, causing part of the structure to fall. You may need to throw another bomb off to the side to dislodge the support. Then do the same for the back corner straight in front of you, by dislodhing that support as well, using the same strategy. This should take all (or close to all) of your throws, and most of the structure to collapse. After this, your just trying to clean up things. Hit anything with a bomb or two, and it should fall off. Tower Torn This is a lot like Spire Splash. Take out that center support closest to you by hitting the inside of the two blox near it. This should take two, maybe three throws, and make most of the tower fall. Then take out the support in back. Then, with any throws you have left and those you get later, take out the supports for the two towers on the side by hitting them with bombs, and then cleanup. Temple Trash You get five throws with a bowling ball to start here, and take your time with them. Start by hitting out the side towers that stick out towards you by hitting where the gem blox and the blox its on meet. This should also take out the towers behind them. Then hit them right in the middle, hit that blox in the middle below the little gate thing out. Then use your last two throws to hit out those corner areas. Then, when you get more throws, hit just to the left and right of the middle, and it should be cleaning up any stray blox from there. Big Battle You start with five throws, and you have plenty of time to use them. Start by hitting where the lowest level and middle level for that outer wall meet, and hit where some blox meet on the left and right sides. Then hit out the towers by hitting blox about on level with the top of the middle wall. With your last throw, hit away any remaining blox in that outer wall part, or hit the middle of the big wall. Then things are harder to explain, since this level is hard to do. Just nail the second from the bottom level of blox all the way across, and then just aim for big groups of blox. ----------- Bombardment ----------- Castles I'm just going to walk you through how I think you should go about attacking other people's castles, and leave it at that. Start by taking out their corner towers--aim for where smaller group of blox meets the larger one. Then you should hit that blox right below those four little gem blox on each side, then the lowest blox in the middle, and then a bit to the left and right. After that it's cleaning up. I suggest you aim right for where the gem blox are, or you may miss and give your opponent(s) another chance. Great Walls Again, I'll just advise you on how to best attack. First, hit where the multi hit vanish blox (the grey blox) meets a regular blox, on the side closer to the edge of the castles little grey platform. This should cause a lot of damage, even taking out the tower behind it. Then hit the gem blox that's near the middle, and it should knock a lot of their extended out part off. If they're to your left or right, aim for the middle of this part. Then just hit areas with lots of blox to clear out the area, and when going for gem blox, aim right for them. Warlords Again, I'll just advise you on how to best attack your opponent(s). Start out by hitting where the lowest grey pillars in that tower in the back meet the bottom of the first blox with a gem blox on top of it. Then hit the middle of each side of that big wall. By now, if nobody else has, blast the middle to knock over those tall blox blocking your way a bit. Once those blox are gone, hit the corner of where that two walls meet in one blox. Then knock away the walls, and clean up. Aim for where there are lots of blox, aim low, and aim right for a gem blox when going for it during cleanup. ----------- Puck Attack ----------- Hockey Rink The best bet you have here is using a medium throw (or two soft ones) to try and get your pucks into the middle multipliers.Try to just get as many pucks as you can in a multiplier. If you have one puck out of a multiplier, get it in one before you move a puck in a multiplier, already earning you points. Crossroad Again, use a medium throw, or maybe a couple soft ones, to try and get as many of your pucks in the middle as you can. I do not recommend trying to knock off others pucks, since you usually wind up losing a puck, either from knocking off both pucks, or your opponent getting revenge. Just try and cram your pucks in the middle. Intersection Only three people can play here, and there aren't as many areas to knock off pucks. Still, your strategy is pretty much the same. Use some medium throws to knock your pucks into the multipliers, and cram as many in there as you can. Black Hole You have to be a bit more cautious here, but things aren't impossible. Use some soft and medium throws to knock the blox into the multipliers in the middle. Try to angle your throws so that even they slide a bit too far, your pucks will not fall in the middle. If you want, you can knock a puck into the 2x multiplier right by where you start, since its very hard to fall out over there. Try to get some blox in the middle, and you'll be fine. Launch Ramp Start off by using medium/soft throws to get your blox onto that middle upper platform if possible, or knocking out your opponents blox. When your on the bottom, aim for the corners, but at such an angle if you overshoot you won't lose a puck. Better to aim for the 4x multiplier than to lose a puck. Try and get yourself in as many multipliers as possible, and keep your opponents off of the center upper platform. ------------ Cooperative - P+P ------------ --------------- Frontier Co-op - FCp --------------- --------- Blasters --------- Gunslingers Bronze: 250 pooints Silver: 800 points *Gold: 1,050 points The key to this is teamwork. I usually have the better shooter, or whoever is more accurate focus on getting all of the blox worth 25 and 50 points whenever those are there, and have the other person focus on blasting all of the fives and tens. If both of you do a good job, gold shouldn't be too hard. Blastin' time Unlocked by: Get a medal in Gunslingers Bronze: 500 points Silver: 1,400 points *Gold: 1,700 points This one is another one where teamwork helps. Assign the more accurate shooter to take out the big point blox, and the lesser shooter to take out the lox point blox and the bandits when they appear. Point blox of the same amount all seem to follow the same trajectory unless there a collision, so try to know where the blox will appear, and be ready for them. Wagon Wheel Unlocked by: Get a medal in Blastin' time Bronze: 750 points Silver: 1,200 points *Gold: 1,600 points This one is trickier. I personally can't get the chem blox to collide when I want them to to save my life, so I just ignore them. Again, the blox all seem to have a specific trajectory for different point amounts. The 50 blox will fly in from the back, so be ready for that, and hit them before they get into a collision. A reccomend having one person take the left side, and the other person take the right side. Buddy Slide Unlocked by: Get a medal in Wagon wheel Bronze: 200 points Silver: 400 points *Gold: 800 points This one can get really slow if you both fire a bunch, so be ready for that. Anyway, this stage isn't too bad. Just avoid hitting those minus point blox at all costs, and try to hit the little 25 blox, rather than blasting a ton of 5 and 10 point blox--the little 25 blox take less time if you can line up the shot fast enough. Crossfired Unlocked by: Get a medal in Buddy Slide Bronze: 450 points Silver: 700 points *Gold: 1,000 points Accuracy is very important here. Don't miss the point blox, or you'll likely hit a minus point blox. All the blox of a certain point amount follow a certain path (again), so be ready for that. Geysers Unlocked by: Get a medal in Crossfired Bronze: 200 points Silver: 400 points *Gold: 800 points This one is going to take some sharp shooting to get a gold. At the start, blast away since there aren't any minus point blox. Once the minus point blox do start appearing, try not to fire into the middle much, since that's where most of the minus point blox are. There are certain paths all of the blox follow, so try and learn them and snipe out the blox. Try and get as many 50 point blox as you can, since they're not much harder to get than the 10 point blox's here. You'll need a friend whos darn good at shooting to get a gold, but its possible. ------------- Rock Haulers Unlocked by: Get a medal in all Blaster challenges ------------- Block tugger Unlocked by: Get a medal in Geysers Bronze: 4 points Silver: 7 points *Gold: 10 points You can do this on your own if you like. Anyway, I start at the top and pull out the blox sticking out for each level by looking at it from the side and pulling it out. Then its a matter of pulling out the two outer blox on each level, same way as the ones stickin out. Be steady enough and the minus point blox shouldn't fall. Handles Unlocked by: Get a medal in Block tugger Bronze: 12 points Silver: 16 points *Gold: 22 points This one isn't that bad really.Start by taking out the four corner blox in that middle area, and any blox that fall down once you do that. Then look at the top row of regular blox from the side, and pull them out one at a time, until the minus blox tilts down. It shouldn't slide off. Then turn the camera 180 degrees, and pull out the rest of that level's blox doing this. Then things get trickier. Take out four of those 5 center pillars in the middle (the four corner ones, taking out the one in the oppisite corner of the once you just removed) by looking at them and throwing them off to the side. You should have taken off any blox that fell when you look out these supports, and be down to the center blox pillar balanching the long blox on its side holding up the minus blox. Take out the pillar blox by looking at it and pulling it out to the side. Pull out the blox the minus blox is on, and it should be a simple matter to pull out the bottom two rows with the point blox on top, since even if it tilts, it shouldn't slide off. Pull of the blox on the bottom by looking at their long side, and yanking them out. You can get 24 points on this level, so you don't have to be perfect to get gold. The Skinny Unlocked by: Get a medal in Handles Bronze: 14 points Silver: 20 points *Gold: 33 points Getting silver here is easy. I just dismantle the four towers in the corner by looking at the blox and pulling them out. Then remove a couple more blox before the point blox falls off, and you should get a silver medal. Take care to evenly dismantle the towers, so you don't take off two on one side and let the minus point blox topple off. To try and get gold, do the same, but pull out the blox inside the long skinny blox by looking the the bottom ones long side and pulling it out. Once your down to the skinny ones, remove them from oppisite corners, and if you did this all without letting any excess blox fall, you have a shot at a gold medal. Cross tower Unlocked by: Get a medal in The Skinny Bronze: 10 points Silver: 20 points *Gold: 30 points This one is all about keeping it steady. To get a gold, look at the long side of the blox on the top level. Then pull out the blox by yanking them out of the structure. When the minus blox tilts, turn the camera 180 degrees and pull out the rest for the level. Keep doing this from the top down, and you should pull out a gold medal. You don't need to get the whole thing for a gold medal. Stone wings Unlocked by: Get a medal in Cross tower Bronze: 10 points *Silver: 20 points Gold: 30 points Look at the top row of blox from the side, and slide out the outer more blox by pulling them off to the side. Rotate the camera 180 degrees, and do the same on the other side. Repeat this for every level down to the bottom. Then take out those blox in between the longer blox, but only the two in the middle, for the top two levels. I recommend looking at the thing almost but not quite from the side, so you can see the tip of the blox sticking out, and pull it out that way. Then take out the two blox that are in between the longer blox for the bottom level the same way, but for the two close to the middle. The structure should be ready to collapse now, but you sould have enough for silver by now. Just throw a few blox off to have the thing topple so the stage ends. ---------- Additional Unlocked by: Get a medal on Stone wings ---------- Maximize Unlocked by: Get a medal on Stone wings *Bronze: 12 points Silver: 18 points Gold: 24 points Bronze is cake. Just line up right behing the chosen blox so the 2x multiplier is right behind it, hit it right on the 1, and it should go in. Getting a higher medal will take me some more time to figure out how to line up your shots. Enumerate Unlocked by: Get a medal on Maximize Bronze: 50 point Silver: 130 points *Gold: 165 points You don't have to be perfect for gold, just good. Hit all the blox lying flat on the three middle platform into the 2x multipliers. Then look the platforms so they look really long way, but from above to you can see the top of the blox on the far side. Hit those far blox on top with a well aimed throw to hit them into the 4x multiplier. If you do this for all blox standing up that don't have minus blox they would knock over if hit into the 4x multiplier, you should be near gold. Hit any other tall blox you couldn't hit into the 4x multiplier into the 2x multiplier. If you hit a few minus blox off, then you should still get a gold. Number Tree Unlocked by: Get a medal on Enumerate Bronze: 50 points Silver: 130 points *Gold: 165 points This one takes some time to get a gold on. Work from the bottom up on this one. For the parts where the blox can only be hit from the side, look at both sides to find where the negative blox are, and the positive. If both on each side are positive, look right at t blox on one side and blast it out. If there's a minus point blox on one side, and a plus point blox on another, then try to hit the edge of the point blox to get it away from the minus point blox so you can nail it away. For the parts where you can see the tops of the blox, look at it from above. Look at it so your close to in line with the point blox you want to hit off, and its on the far side, and hit the point blox near where it meets the point blox across from it, but not so close you hit the other blox. If you pull off enough shots right, you should get a gold medal. Divide Unlocked by: Get a medal on Number Tree Bronze: 100 points *Silver: 250 points Gold: 500 points I... don't have much for this level. Start with the two lower platforms, and hit the blox closest to the 4x multiplier into it. Then hit the blox closer to the 2x multiplier into it. As for the ones in the middle, hit them into whichever one you think you can get them, but hit as few minus blox off as you can. Then for the top platform, start in the middle, and just blast the point blox off. If you find yourself with a chance to hit a point blox into the 4x multiplier without hitting a minus point blox off, take it. I find silver possible most of the time, but gold... I'll need more time. Multiply Unlocked by: Get a medal on Divide *Bronze: 100 points Silver: 250 points Gold: 450 points I haven't come up with much here. Just knock off the blox using similar strategies as before, and aim for the multipliers. You can knock off almost everything, just as long as you multiply your positives more than your negatives, you'll get bronze. Somebody nag me to try and come up with a better strategy for this level sometime. --------------- Medieval Co-op - MCp Unlocked by: Get a medal on Multiply --------------- Topple together Unlocked by: Get a medal on Multiply Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 2 throws You can do this one on your own. Just hit the vanish blox on the tower with a chem blox near the top, that will then fall into a tower with a chem blox and two bomb blox. This should only leave gem blox on one tower, which you can take care of by hitting the bomb blox near the top. Ye City Unlocked by: Get a medal on Topple together Bronze: 10 throws Silver: 7 throws *Gold: 4 throws I can't remember what I do for this one, but I'll give some general tips. Try to hit where the multi-hit vanish blox and chem blox meet to cause the most damage. Try to take out the stage in chunks at a time (take out one side, then the oppisite side, and clean up). Also, the more explosions you can get out of one throw, the better. After messing around with this one for awhile, you should be able to cause enough damage to win. Also, I recomend mostly ignoring the smaller chem blox on top of the towers, since they're too small to accurately aim (for me at least). Just focus on blowing up the big towers by making their chem blox touch. Also, try setting off the middle sooner rather than later, since it can cause more chain reactions. Boom castle Unlocked by: Get a medal on Ye City Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 3 throws *Gold: 2 throws Look straight at the tall thin chem blox just to the right of the bomb blox to the right of where the camera starts. Hit it off, and a bunch of stuff will blow up. If your lucky, this will leave four gem blox on top of one tower left. Hit one of the chem blox holding up the arch where the bomb blox sit at the start of the puzzle, the once closer to the tower, into one of the chem blox suppporting the tower. You may need to try this a few times to get it right. Hard Fort Unlocked by: Get a medal on Boom castle Bronze: 10 throws Silver: 7 throws *Gold: 4 throws Start by getting the camera as low as you can, and looking straight at one of the four sides. Throw a bowling ball at the top of the wall, in between two of those blox in between those corner places. This should destroy a good chunk of the castle. Then do the same to whichever side is most intact. Then you should have few enough gems left you can clean up with the last two throws. To hit two gems off the bottom in one shot, look right at one, with the other obscured behind it in a straight line. Then nail the middle of the front gem blox, and your bowling ball should fly into and knock both off. You can also knock a multi-hit vanish blox so it slides across the base and falls off, taking any gem blox with it. Tower Buster Unlocked by: Get a medal on Hard Fort Bronze: 6 throws Silver: 4 throws *Gold: 2 throws For an easy silver, just hit that base pillar of immovable blox with a bomb, and it will cause the tower above it to explode. Gold takes a little more precision. Throw a bomb in between two of the towers, and detonate in midair by pressing A when its about in between the two, cause the towers to explode. --------- Take Away Unlocked by: Get a medal on Tower Buster --------- Dismantle Unlocked by: Get a medal on Tower Buster Bronze: 22 points Silver: 33 points *Gold: 44 points You'll need a friend to pull out a gold in time for this one. Stick to the top to bottom dismantling strategy. Have you and your friend pull out oppisite corners at about the same rate, limiting the time the cows have to slide around. Work fast, since time is limited here. Look at the stage at an angle so that you can see all of the corners, even if some are partially obscured. Adjust the camera when needed, and try pulling the blox out from the side, rather than straight out. Dismantler Unlocked by: Get a medal on Dismantle Bronze: 36 points *Silver: 58 points Gold: 88 points Thid one is just bigger than Dismantle. Have you and your friend pull out oppisite corners on both sides, and work from the outside in, top to bottom. This shouldn't be too hard if both of you work well at this. When you get to the middle bars, pull them out from the middle first, then the sides. If both of you keep pulling out plenty of blox in the time limit, you should get as decent score. Puzzle Box Unlocked by: Get a medal on Dismantler *Bronze: 20 points Silver: 30 points Gold: 40 points This one doesn't give you enough time to do well, IMO. Anyway, I start by looking at it so the sides with 4 tall blox on the outside are on the left and right. Then each player takes out those four, then the ones that were behind them lying on their sides. After that, things get crazier. Try to co-ordinate when and how and who moves the camera, and then work from the top to bottom. I usually wind up having the thing partially collapse, so take out any pieces that no longer provide any support. This should get you a bronze, maybe even silver. Loose Guts Unlocked by: Get a medal on Puzzle Box Bronze: 40 points Silver: 50 points *Gold: 60 points Look at one of the shorter, smaller sides of the structure. Then just start pulling out any blox you see sticking out to the side off of the long side. Do this on both side, mostly evenly. Once you can't see any more blox sticking out, rotate the camera so you can see the middle on one of the long sides. Pull out as many of the blox there as you can. Rotate to the other side after awhile and do the same. Once you have cleaned out the middle area, I usually start pulling apart the two outer towers that remain. I recommend taking out parts there are lots of (if there are three blox next to each other, pull out those). Once the towers start to fall, pull out as much as you can as fast as you can. If you get enough blox during the middle cleanout, you should get a gold on this. Dismantlest Unlocked by: Get a medal on Loose Guts *Bronze: 40 points Silver: 55 points Gold: 60 points This stage doesn't seem to be made for gold to be possible, but oh well. For bronze, start by looking at the thing from above, and taking apart that middle tower. Then look at the thing so one tower is on each side. Have you and your partner work on oppisite towers. Pull out the tall blox that make up the four corner supports, and the shorter blox in between them. This should all be near the top of the towers. Then look at one of the towers, getting your camera as close to one of the sides so the other tower is obscured.. You should see four blox in between the two middle pillars at the top. There should be two blox poking up that are just above the base of those blox in between the two pillars. Ease those out, then pull out the four box in the middle. Pull out the two blox that are closer to the middle, that are in the same position as those you pulled out before removing the four center blox in between the two pillars. Do this for the other tower. Now things should be very unstable. I would try taking out the outer blox on their sides on the bottoms of the towers on each tower, until the thing starts collapsing. Then you just pull as many blox as you can while the tower collapses, and you should get bronze. --------- Gem Theft Unlocked by: Get a medal on Dismantlest --------- Bombers Unlocked by: Get a medal on Dismantlest Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems I found this one to be pretty easy. Look at the stage from above, and have you and your friend each take half of the stage. This will make things easier. The bear guys do come in large groups at times, but aim near the middle of them to let the bomb's explosions take care of them. Watch out for the little guys, and blow up anything that's carrying away any of your gems. Gold shouldn't be too hard here. Hoarder Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bombers Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems This one is a little harder. First hit that chem blox on top of the tower by where the bears appear away from your gems. Then blow up any bears, and then blow up the tower (work top to bottom). Once thats done, change your camera so your above where the bears respond, and your looking at your two sheep and your gem blox. There should be a little black circle (a spawn point) where some of the little bandit guys will pop out now and then. Assign one person to lobbing bombs at that spawn point. Have the other person just throw them below where your camera is, near the middle of level. This should blow up any bears trying to get to your gems, and the bandits should be under control too. Exploder Unlocked by: Get a medal on Hoarder Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems Have one person take care of the starting bears and bandit in the back, while the other blasts away those chem blox on top of the towers. Then have one person focus on blowing up the towers, top to bottom, while the other blows up any enemies. Once the towers are gone, both of you can just blow up the bears. Have one person assigned to blowing up any and all bandits that appear, so the other can blast away at the bears. Gold here shouldn't be too much of a problem. Big Bear Unlocked by: Get a medal on Exploder Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems Take out those 4 starting bears, then turn the camera so your mostly looking at the level from above. You should be able to see 3 of the 4 corners of the castle with your gems inside. Then have you and your friend divide up the level in half again, with each of you guarding two towers. The bears will typically come in big groups, which are easily dispatched with a well thrown bomb. This level shouldn't be too hard either. Looters Unlocked by: Get a medal on Big Bear Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems Gold here is definetly harder, but possible. Start by blowing off all of those blox on top of the outer vanish blox towers. Then look at the map from above. Divide it into two halves, left and right, top and bottom, whatever. Blast the thieves in your half. Try to keep them away from the middle tower, since if that thing falls apart, life is a whole lot harder for you. If one of them is carrying a gem blox away, try to aim so your bomb hits closer to the fires than the middle, sending the gem blox closer to the middle, and away from the fires in the corners. Aim for groups and defend your gems. Bandit Bugs Unlocked by: Get a medal on Looters Bronze: 1 gem Silver: 5 gems *Gold: 8 gems This one is tough. Look at the course from above, and blow up the bandits coming in from the four sides, and blasting any trying to walk off with your gem blox. Your tower should collapse after awhile, which almost makes seeing the bandits easier. Try to divide the screen into two halves, and each person takes care of any bandits on their half. You could also have someone constantly throwing bombs in the middle of the four spawn points in the middle, and then leave the other person to take care of the bandits. Gold is hard here, but possible. ---------- Tiki Co-op - TCp Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bandit Bugs ---------- ------------ Point Towers Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bandit Bugs ------------ Rap Sheet Unlocked by: Get a medal on Bandit Bugs Bronze: 250 points Silver: 300 points *Gold: 370 points This one is easy, even though you don't need to be perfect for gold. Look at the panel so your level with the 50 point blox. Hit around where the 50 point blox and other blox meet (one of the four corners). This should take care of most of the middle. The chose one of the top right corners. Hit one of them right about where the three 5 point blox and the 10 point blow meet. Do this for the other upper corner, and then the lower two corners. Use the last throw you have among the pair of you, and you should be able to get most, if not all, of the point blox out for a gold. Tower Point Unlocked by: Get a medal on Rap Sheet Bronze: 250 points Silver: 330 points *Gold: 400 points Perfection is now required here, but 6 throws each is plenty. Start by hitting where the vanish blox and 5 point blox meet. It should be to the right of where the camera starts. Then rotate the camera to the right so you can see this same setup on the next side. Hit out the blox again. This should cause most of the tower to topple. If not, hit out more blox on this same level so that level is a poor support and the tower falls. Then use a few throws to hit out that base point blox, which should take care of most other blow. Another throw or two should knock off any straggling blox. Purple Ninja Unlocked by: Get a medal on Tower Point Bronze: 250 points Silver: 300 points *Gold: 370 points Another tower that needs to be completely toppled. Start by taking out the three vanish blox to the left of where your camera starts. Rotate the camera to the left so you can see the next side, which should have a pair of purple vanish blox poking out. Get rid of those two. Then turn the camera to the right, so your looking at the pillars remaining on this side. Try to take out the 20 point blox pillars, then the 1 point blox pillar in the middle. Try to have one person pull this off, because this should make the tower topple. Any remaining blox can be hit off by whoever has throws left. Hit any base blox off first, since they usually take most blox with them, them hit out any stragglers. Four Tops Unlocked by: Get a medal on Purple Ninja Bronze: 300 points *Silver: 400 points Gold: 504 points Can't quite get every blox to fall, but I can get most. For this one, look at the base of any tower. The third from the bottom level should be all 2 point blox. Make it so your level with them, then nail the longer (side to side) 2 point blox with one throw. This shouldn't do a lot, but another throw at the 2 on the 2 point blox should make most of the tower fall. If not, try hitting that middle pillar thing. Do this for all 4 towers, and you should at least get them all to fall, which should get you silver. Use any remaining throws to knock off the remaining blox. Monumental Unlocked by: Get a medal on Four Tops Bronze: 650 points *Silver: 800 points Gold: 999 points I don't have any step by step strategy, but I have some tips. Basically, you want to take out half of the bottom, causing the tower to mostly fall, which should guarantee you a silver medal. I do this by looking at one side, and seeing if any blox stick out on the sides next to it. If so, pick one of those sides, and hit out all the blox sticking out. Try to make it a blox sticking out with a smaller blox with a vanish blox at the end above it. Once that blox is hit out, look at the corner oppisite from the side you were throwing from. There should be a lot of blox at an angle. Hit them out, aiming at the parts closer to the outside so they move more. Work your way around, and try throwing bowling balls in through the middle to take out those four center vanish blox pillers. Once you see the tower swaying, wait and hope it falls. If it doesn't, continue weakening the base. Once the towers falls, hit away some straggling blox, and your guaranteed bronze, probably silver. ----------- Minus Avoid Unlocked by: Get a medal on Monumental ----------- Stay Positive Unlocked by: Get a medal on Monumental Bronze: 60 points Silver: 90 points *Gold: 120 points This one isn't too bad. Make it so your camera is right at one of the corners, but you can just see one of the 10 point blox on one of the other two corners. Hit out that 10 point blox for each corner this way, aiming for the 10 on it. Then for the 6 and 4 point blox pairs, look straight at them, so that the minus point blox are to the side, and your level with where they meet. Hit out each blox, top one first, by hitting it on the number on the side you can see. The four in the middle are trickier. If you move your camera to about the same level as where the two blox meet, about where you hit out the ten point blox, you should have a shot at one of them in between the minus point blox. Take them out the same way you did the towers on the outside, and they should not cause all the minus 9 point blox to come tumbling down, and you should get gold. Clogged Unlocked by: Get a medal on Stay Positive Bronze: 30 points Silver: 80 points *Gold: 150 points You don't have to perfect to get a gold medal here. There isn't really a step by step way to do this one, but I'll give some general hints and all. Start out by looking straight at a side. Then make it so you can just see any blox sticking out of the side to the right. The blox sticking out should be as far away from you as it can be in the orginal structure. Hit out the blox by hitting the part of it sticking out. Do this for as long as there are blox sticking out like that. For those blox at the bottom, next to a minus point blox, look at those from a little above, and the side so the minus blox is closer. Loosen it up a bit by hitting the positive point blox on the top a bit a few times. Then once its far enough removed from any minus point blox, blast it away. Keep hitting out any point blox sticking out odd. When you get near the end and there are a lot of minus point blox, use softer throws until you can be sure the point blox can be hit away, no problem. Down the Tubes Unlocked by: Get a medal on Clogged Bronze: 100 points Silver: 115 points *Gold: 130 points Again, perfection isn't needed for a gold medal here. You can get away with a lot at the start. Try taking out as many towers as you can that don't let any minus point blox fall. Clear away all the blox you can, whether they're vanish blox, point blox, or normal blox. The more clutter, the harder it is when the minus point blox arrive. At some point, your going to have to let some minus point blox fall. I suggest toppling their supporting tower, and hope they don't fall off. Use softer throws near the end when there are a lot of minus point blox and only a few point blox. With some luck, you can get gold on this mission. Disposal Unlocked by: Get a medal on Down the Tubes Bronze: 80 points *Silver: 180 points Gold: 295 points Silver here isn't too bad. Gold I think you can get if you get the middle very well done, or somehow get one of the 50 point blox. Personally, when I blow up the chem blox the 50 point blox are one, they fall and balance, so I don't score. Regardless, try blowing up those chem blox to see if you can get a lucky 50 points. Other then that, its like every other plumbing mission. Hit out the blox on each side that are sticking out first, loosen blox away from minus point blox by hitting them on top, and clear all the clutter you can. Good luck. Sludge Unlocked by: Get a medal on Disposal Bronze: 15 points Silver: 30 points *Gold: 68 points The key here is to not let the chem blox connect. If you can do that, and then not knock off almost every minus point blox, your pretty much guaranteed bronze, likely silver, and possibly gold. To get rid of that chem blox before it does its damage, start at the top of the structure. Since there are so few minus point blox up here, just look at the small end of a point blox (the side with just the number on it) and hit it out. DO NOT take out enough of the bottom to expose the big chem blox. The moment the long chem blox is free of the top, hit it as far away as you can. Then the rest is easy. I usually try looking at the end of the point blox where its just a number, and hitting the point blox off for the side ones. For those amongst point blox, work them loose with softer throws and hitting them from above. Even if you hit a good deal of minus point blox, don't sweat it. As long as the chem blox don't send that huge amount of point blox flying, this level should be a breeze. --------- Monuments Unlocked by: Get a medal on Sludge --------- Little on Top Unlocked by: Get a medal on Sludge Bronze: 29 points Silver: 33 points *Gold: 39 points I think the way these levels work is you get enough moves to move each blox once--don't quote me on that though. Anyway, gold here is just possible. Grab one of those bigger blox first, but turn it so it's more wide than flat. Then put the five tall skinny blox on top of that the way they are. Try to make a little 2 by 2 tower of four, and have the fifth nearby. Then turn the last big blox the same way as you did the first blox, put it on top of the long skinny blox, and you should get gold. Build Challenge Unlocked by: Get a medal on Little on Top Bronze: 36 points Silver: 100 points *Gold: 144 points Use that 4 times multiplier. Try to place the blox at the edge of it, and fit as many as you can in it (I can usually get 9, but thats overkill). Then put them in the 2 times multiplier, when the 4 times runs out. Pack in the blox close and be putting all of them so they stand tall and skinny here. For the 4 times, you can try make them short and long (on their sides) to get more points. Either way, make them tall and skinny for the 2 times. When you run out of room, you can put them on top of the first layer for more. Yor should be able to get gold if you use the 4 times multiplier well. Miniature Unlocked by: Get a medal on Build Challenge Bronze: 20 points Silver: 55 points *Gold: 78 points This one is about keeping your stack consistent and steady. I just turn the blox so their short and long, and build them up 3 per level. Near the end you may need to narrow this down to 2, but thats fine. As long as you don't let too many blox fall, and you get 2/3 of your blox in the multiplier, or something along those lines, then you should get a gold on this level. Medium Unlocked by: Get a medal on Miniature Bronze: 36 points Silver: 100 points *Gold: 144 points Ignore that 3 times multiplier--you can get over 250 points if you just use the 2 times multipliers (I got 264 myself). Start by taking those square blox, turn them so that their standing on one of those longer, skinnier sides, not the square shaped sides. Pile those in a pairs of two inside the 2 times multipliers. I got 8 of them in each 2 times multiplier. Put the remaining ones of those just one top of their fellows. For the longer, skinnier blox, simply turn them onto their side so they are as long as two of the square blox, but half as tall. Stack them on top of the square blox and each other. If you run out of room, build up and try not to let too many blox fall. If you do all of this right, you should get gold. Mega Unlocked by: Get a medal on Medium Bronze: 96 points Silver: 269 points *Gold: 384 points You don't really need those 4 times multipliers for gold here. Just pack in the blox in that 2 times multiplier, and don't lose too many points. I got over 700 points just off of the 2 times multipliers here. There are so many ways to build here, it doesn't really matter how you do it, as long as you stack your blox close together. I recommend putting the very long and thin on the outer perimeter of whatever you decide to build. Then everything else works pretty well with each other. You can get away with just stacking the same kind of blox on top of itself for a long time, then move onto the next type. Keep it steady, and gold is yours. ------------- Haunted Co-op - HCp Unlocked by: Get a medal on Mega ------------- ---------- Protectors Unlocked by: Get a medal on Mega ---------- Pyramid Path Unlocked by: Get a medal on Mega Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:45 seconds *Gold: 0:50 seconds No time to waste here. Angle the camera so your looking from the side where the kitten starts, and the pyramid is in middle of the screen, then start. Move those blox in your kittens way out of the way near where the zombies spawn. Have you and your friend each take a side (left or right) and pull blox out and just make walls on that side. Start out as close to the spawn points as you can, since you can't really ever make the zombies go backwards. Make sure you take out the blox the pumpkin blox is on that are closer to the kitten so it falls down right. Unrecoverable Unlocked by: Get a medal on Pyramid Path Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:25 seconds *Gold: 0:45 These levels look very familiar... ah well, I guess they could only cram oh so much on a game disc. Anyway, this level isn't so bad. Look at it from above so you can see where the kitten starts and where the pumpkin blox is. Start by having you and your friend each take a tower that starts out in front of the kitten, and put that pair of blox on one of the cloud blox on the way to the pumpkin blox. This should take care of 2 of the 3 blox you need to weigh down to the right level. Use one of the towers of two blox right by the pumpkin that are closer to your kitten to weigh down the last one. Make sure all of these blox weighing down the clouds are off to the side, so your kitten doens't run into them. For that last tower in between your kitten and the pumpkin blox finish, just put them on one of those outer cloud blox nothing ever walks on. This setup should make it so when the zombies get to the path your kitten is on, they fall down too far, and poof away. Gold is just a stroll away. Descending Unlocked by: Get a medal on Unrecoverable Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:25 seconds *Gold: 0:45 seconds This one also doesn't give you much time to waste. Make it so your camera is right in front of where the kitten is, near the top of the steps. You should have the pumpking blox in the middle of your screen, and the spawn points on the left and right. Then start. Use all of those blox in the kittens path to create little walls by the spawn points. Have you and your friend each take one side (left or right) to control. Start the walls close to the spawn points again. If there get to be a few zombies (4 or 5) then use some chem blox to blow them up. Once the kitten is off the starting steps, you can carefully use the blox from that. Just don't cause any of the chem blox on it to collide, or your kitten is doomed. Once you can use all of those blox, making walls and blowing up the zombies is cake. Short Stacks Unlocked by: Get a medal on Descending Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:10 seconds *Gold: 0:35 seconds This one can be trickier. Angle the camera so your by the stack the kitten starts on, but can see all the blox for that stack and the stack the pumpkin blox is on. Start, and have you and your friend each assigned to one of these stacks. Dismantle your assigned stack, and then put the blox by the zombies spawn points. Don't worry about being too neat here--time is crucial here. Then once the towers are gone, use some chem blox to blow up any zombies that aren't right by their spawn point. Then you should be able to create massive piles the zombies will never get through with your blox. Use some chem blox to blow them up now and then if you like. If your kitten got going soon enough, you should get gold on this mission. Kitten Beam Unlocked by: Get a medal on Short Stacks Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:30 seconds *Gold: 0:40 seconds This one is actually kind of easy for me. Anyway, make it so the camera lets you see every blox on the beam, except the blox at the very end on each side. You'll need those there. Have you and your friend coordinate to simultaneosly pull out the same blox on each side. Just put them on the ground for now. Once thats taken care of, change the camera so you can see the pumpkin blox on one side, and the oppisite end of the beam on the other. There should be some zombies by now. Just put some blox in their way so they don't close in on your kitten. Only have a couple of blox there at a time so you don't mess up the balance. Have a blox ready for when they destroy one blox, you put another one in their way. Do this until the kitten nears the last blox in front of the pumpkin blox, then pull that blox out and use it to block the zombies too. Your kitten should arrive at the pumpkin blox fine. Three Peices Unlocked by: Get a medal on Kitten Beam Bronze: 0:01 seconds Silver: 0:40 seconds *Gold: 0:45 seconds You have pretty much no time to spare here. Look at the course so your above, around the same area as the middle beam, and can see that side spawn point, and that zombie and pumpkin blox at the end, and the kitten. Immedietly take some blox off the ground and put them right by that spawn point on the side. If you get it right, the zombies just keep falling off. If not, just keep stacking blox there so the zombies never get far. As for that zombie that starts across from your kitten, wait until he nears the middle, and put blox in between him and your kitten. I would try to get three blox around him, since a fourth blox should just blox him from falling off the beams. Move any blox in your kittens way to block the zombies, and hope it makes its way to the pumpkin blox in time. ------------- Ghoul Blaster Unlocked by: Get a medal on Three Peices ------------- Standoff Unlocked by: Get a medal on Three Peices Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens The ghost gun makes this a peice of cake. Just divide the stage into left and right, and each person takes one side. Make sure to take out any of the monkeys that spawn in the back immedietly, or they'll make you pay. Blast the bomb blox right away, and let the walls stand. They don't hurt you too much to let the zombies swing away at them. Blast the zombies, especially the monkeys and any that get too close. Gold here shouldn't be bad. The Horrors Unlocked by: Get a medal on Standoff Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 5 kittens The zombies are pretty light here. Have one person focus on hitting the zombies, and have the other person hit out the pumpkin blox. Try to hit out all of vanish blox, then the pumpkin blox for the first wall. The back towers can be easier. The outer two can be taken care of by hitting the chem blox on one tower into the farther back one. If you don't get that, just hit out the pumpkin blox. For the middle two, make sure you can see the bomb blox at the base of that middle one, and blow that up to take care of them. If the pumpkin blox in that first wall are proving immovable, then hit out the blox above them to try and make life easier. If the zombies get too bad, have both of you hit them for awhile, then have one person go back to the pumpkin blox. Defenseless Unlocked by: Get a medal on The Horrors Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 3 kittens *Gold: 4 kittens This one is like previous ones, but harder to get the pumpkins. Have one person focus on hitting the pumpkins off, and the other focus on hitting the zombies. Aim low on the zombies so you don't throw over them. The pumpkin blox are mostly easy--hit them out of the tower they're in. I would start with the lower of the pumpking blox, in case you can get the tower to fall or something helpful to happen. For the middle three towers, there's a wall in the way. Just throw a little before their bases to have the ball bounce under the wall and into them. I can't really make out the wall on my TV, but with some trial and error you should figure it out. Invaded Unlocked by: Get a medal on Defenseless Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens The zombies seem to come from just about every side on this one. Constantly rotate the camera to different sides and take out whichever zombies are closest. If you see any wacking at the walls, try to hit them, or hit a blox over so you can hit them. Try not to let them do too much damage to the inner wall, and use the bomb blox if you need to. Ghost Town Unlocked by: Get a medal on Invaded Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens Use those middle bomb blox for each side at the start. Then the rest is a matter of turning the camera, finding some zombies that are too close, and hitting them. If there get to be a few in an area (4 or more), then use a bomb blox if you can. Do your best to not aim for the same zombies as your friend. Keep turning the camera to make sure you don't let a zombie slip in, and good luck. Spooked Unlocked by: Get a medal on Ghost Town Bronze: 1 kitten Silver: 2 kittens *Gold: 3 kittens This ones tough. Start by hitting away all the chem blox you have in your little fort, trying to hit the outer chem blox. You won't be wanting any surprise explosions on this level. After that, its a matter of turning the camera to find the zombies, and hitting them. Try to keep them off of that inner wall. If that thing goes, your pretty well screwed. If you do see a zombie attacking the inner wall, hit it. Near the end, I usually wind up having the camera right above the center part, but angling it so I can't really see out, but I see a lot of the inner wall. If you can keep that inner wall alive, you keep the kittens alive. Good luck on this one. ------------- Careful Candy Unlocked by: Get a medal on Spooked ------------- I found out through an email about an interesting glitch in this mode, and I'd like to thank Jason Andresen and whoever his wife is for pointing this out to me. In the Careful Candy mode of the haunted co-op, if you manage to pull all of the pieces for a color out before dropping the pumpkin, and the randomizer picks that color, you will be stuck and have to restart the level. Their advice on beating this is to pull all of the pieces out of the middle of the stack on the first challenge and then quickly yank the two pieces holding the pumpkin up (one at a time, it will rest cockeyed after you pull the first) it will fall to the bottom without falling off and you will be able to deconstruct the tower from the top for massive points. Just make sure that when you are forced to take the last block of any particular color that you swing it around to knock the pumpkin off of the platform so you don't get stuck. Thanks for the advice! Color Candy Unlocked by: Get a medal on Spooked Bronze: 260 points Silver: 440 points *Gold: 760 points This one needs some luck for a gold, but silver and bronze are very doable regardless. For this one, work from top to bottom. I usually try and take out the middle blox first if possible. If not, go for one of the ends. Try to make any leans that occur balance each other out to try and keep the pumpkin blox mostly in the middle. If you get a color that just doesn't need to be taken out on the level your on, pull it out for the next level. Pulling out the middle is best, but if its on the side, then try to just keep the pumpkin sliding around so it mostly stays in the middle. If you get your choice, take out whatever blox needs removal the most. If there isn't anything like that, then pull out a blox nearest the top thats part of a pair of the same color in the middle--it can be hard to get rid of those. If you get a little lucky and keep things steady, gold is possible here, though I don't find silver too bad. Scarecrow Unlocked by: Get a medal on Color Candy Bronze: 200 points *Silver: 280 points Gold: 480 points I don't know about you, but I'll settle for silver here. You don't unlock anything for all golds in Co-op, so whatever. Anyway, heres what I got to silver this level. Start at the top, and work your way down. There should be, for the first few levels, one blox that goes out farther one way than the others. Pull out those first, then the outer ones to minimize how far around the pumpkin blox moves. When you don't get colors you need, just work on the same idea (middle out first, then outside) for lower levels. You can also do this for some of those outer pillars near the middle. If you get down to that 3 by 3 square of taller blox, dismantle the blox outside of those (they make a square, then the blox juttin out. Then pull out the middle blox, leaving only the corners. At this point, I think your pretty much at gold, and just pull off as many blox as you can (two oppisite corners worth) and then pull out more and let the pumpkin fall. I have never gotten this far myself, but in theory it should work. Crow's Nest Unlocked by: Get a medal on Scarecrow *Bronze: 240 points Silver: 440 points Gold: 600 points I just can't seem to get this level to work out for me, so I'll stick with bronze. Start by looking at the thing from above. You should see four outer structers. The have two blox one top, then two blox perpendicular to those ones below, and then one blox. Pull these apart top to bottom. You'll likely lose at least 2 points for each one when the last two blox fall, but you gain a lot more, so it's worth it. Then dismantle those top two layers the pumpkin blox is on. Try to get the middles out first, but it doesn't matter since your pumpkin shouldn't slide off. All of this should pretty much guarantee you bronze. Then just pull out blox you like to try and keep it going. I try those pillars outside of the center of the structure, just above that bottom group of pillars. Hobgoblin Unlocked by: Get a medal on Crow's Nest *Bronze: 240 points Silver: 480 points Gold: 600 points I don't like this level--it's too complicated. The best I've gotten here is bronze, but hey, it works. Anyway, you should see some structures near the top that have two blox standing tall like pillars on a blox thats flat (like what you took apart first in Crow's Nest). Take off one of those pillars. You will lose some points, but you gain more. Take care of all of those, and then you can usually take out some very unecessary blox near the top that are usually connected with these structures. After all of that, work from the bottom up. The top is so connected it seems taking it apart only makes things fall, so start at the bottom. Try to remove the middle blox for as many levels as you can. Also take out any blox that seemt to be so far out to the side they support nothing. Do this enough, and the tower should partially fall, but you should have plenty for bronze. Punkin' Head Unlocked by: Get a medal on Hobgoblin Bronze: 280 points *Silver: 380 points Gold: 580 points This one is hard. Work from top to bottom again, trying to take out the middles first, again. If you get stuck with a color and you don't really have any of it to take out, take out one of it thats in the middle lower. If thats not an option, take out the least supporting blox of that color, or the one nearest the top. This one takes some luck and time to even get bronze on, but you should be able to get gold after a bit. ------ Create - CRT ------ For this, I'm going to cover every tool that they have in create mode, what it does, and maybe some little suggestion on how to use it. I'll start with the tools on the left side of the screen, work my way down the list, then explain the tools on the right side of the screen, from top to bottom. Don't forget to hit the arrow on both sides to open up all of the tools you can. Choose Blox - Clicking on this option opens up a window where you can select various types of blox in various sizes. The blox types here are regular, gem, bomb, vanish, chem, and fireworks blox. They come in 1x1x1, 1x1x4, and 2x2x2. If you want to change the size or types of blox, you can use the paint or select tools. Choose Character - Clicking on this option opens up a window which allows you to select any characters you have unlocked, and place them on the level. The characters will simply stand there and only do whatever they do once the puzzle starts. Choose Toy - Selecting this will open a window where you can choose what toy you get to use when your playing the puzzle. Many of these have to be unlocked, but they can all be fun to mess around with. Choose Set - Selecting this will open a window with all sorts of pre-made structure made in the game. There's everything from jails to crossbows to the entire alphabet! These are good for starting off your earlier levels, or just messing around. Choose Prop - Choose this, and you can put any prop you've unlocked onto the stage. To rotate a prop, use the control pad on the Wiimote. You can put these all over, and they are nice for creating a themed stage. Choose Paint - This opens up a window where you can "paint" blow already placed. You can change blox types, or put in some new ones (like the music note blox) here, or just change the color of a regular blox. Select Tool - Just like the name implies, this lets you select anything you have, and move it around the level. Good for moving things. You can also move whole structures by clicking on an unoccupied area, then dragging it along while holding down A, and can cover an area. Then when you release A, you should be able to move this whole area with one blox. Erase Tool - This deletes anything you press A when its over. Good for getting rid of things you no longer have a use for. You can hold down A if you need to erase a lot of things. Scale Tool - This lets you change the dimensions of any blox you have out. Just select this, then the blox, then move your Wiimote in whatever direction you want to have the blox extend. Copy Tool - If you want to make a lot of a weird kind of blox, this is a lifesaver. Just choose this, then whatever you want to copy. Now whenever you press A, you will place a copy of the selected item. Height Tool - This lets you change what level you place things at. Very nice for starting a tower with point blox you want to knock over. Also, if you want gem or point blox to vanish when they fall, you must have the height tool set to one below the towers they are on, and have rules on (I think). Rules Tool - This lets you set the rules for the level, so you can try to make a puzzle to try and stump your friends, or just challenge yourself. You can also set up multiplayer levels with this. If you have more create mode questions, check out PKMNRULES's unofficialy FAQ about it on the forums. If there are still issues, try making a topic on the boards. Please email me as a last resort. ------------ Unlockables - UNLCK ------------ Just as a note, to unlock any puzzle/ whatever you call the things/mission, do the one before it. It goes top left to bottom right, though I really hope you could figure that out yourself. If you want to know what you get for doing a certain puzzle, find the walkthrough for that mission, and I should have listed what (if anything) you unlock for completing that puzzle, besides the next puzzle. I'm having some problem with how the game works, and I can't figure it out! What do I do? A: For a start, don't email me right away. I right FAQ's--that doesn't make me a whiz on the inner workings of the games hardware. I am mostly ignorant of this sort of thing anyway. Post a topic on the boards, and hopefully people will be nice enough to help/figure it out. If nobobdy is responding, then you can try emailing me, but please give it a few days. The boards for this game aren't exactly bustling with activity. Q: I can't beat this level! I read your strategy, but it's too vague! Now what? A: First off, please email me. I would like to know which strategies are not so helpful to people. You may need to re-read the directions, since you may not be reading it right. I've done this a lot myself. On some levels, there is no set, "okay, here's how you win". A lot of the levels with the kittens are this way. Just try and use the strategies I have, and practice. You should get it sooner or later. Also, if your going for gold your first time, you may want to just settle on silver or bronze for now, so you can come back to this level later and try it. Q: Hey, I have this great strategy for a level you don't have. Yours still works, but how about you put in mine too? A: The only way I will put in another person's strategy is if their strategy is superior to mine in that it is more effective more consistently. If they both have the same result about as often, I will not include your strategy. I do this because there is no reason to have different strategies for a level. You just need one good one. All that said, if you find a strategy that is too vague or a bit faulty (doesn't work more than 60% of the time), and you have a strategy that is more reliable (works more often then mine), please email it too me, and I will happily include it and give you credit. If I can think of any questions that will likely come up, or start getting new types of questions, I will include them here. ------------ Legal stuff - LS ------------ This may be not be reproduced under any circumstances except for personal, private use. I'd also like to thank anyone on the GFAQ's Boom Blox boards who gave me feedback about this guide, or helped me figure out any parts of the game, even if it was through an email. I never would've made this guide as good as it is without your help.
