This is a useful little trick that will give you some cash quickly, all you have to do is enter a hotel, nightclub, shop, etc. That you own and smash open the cash register and take the money. Then walk out the door and walk back in again and the cash register will be fixed. Repeat this process to get as much cash as you want, the only problem though is this is a slow way of getting money.

When you are low on ammunition go to a safe house that you pay for and inside there will be ammo caches which you can use to reload your weapons. The safe houses most of which are located inside hotels are identified on the map as orange houses.

If you getting shot at by another family or a cop grab someone hostage who is standing nearby and use them as a human shield and you won't get hurt.

When you have completed the following missions or collected the indicated number of film reels the corresponding movie will become unlocked.

During gameplay pause the game and enter the following codes to unlock the corresponding effect. The 'Full Ammo' and 'Full Health' codes can only be entered every 5 minutes but if you are really desperate for them pause the game and wait until the 5 minutes has elapsed from when you last entered them and then enter them again and resume the game.
