if u want to be protected during mob wars against the other families, go to a cop and bribe him (but make sure you don't get any heat or else they won't take it) and after bribing cops, whenever someone from another family tries to kill you or shoot at you if a cop is near or more, they will say something like get out of here! we got the corleones covered! and start shooting at them and if u want u can also shoot but if you wanna stay at full health get out of there and let the cops take care of the work but it will only last until your green bribe meter goes all the way down so i reccomend bribing until the meter gets full first so u will be proteced by the cops longer but bribing cops costs hundreds of dollars but it isn't that cheap to me
