Unlock Characters 3rd and 4th Colours

Clear the indicated stage of Arcade mode to get that characters third and fourth colours. This can be done for each of the characters.

Unlock Third Colour:
Clear stage 4 (giant opponent) of Arcade mode.

Unlock Fourth Colour:
Clear stage 8 (final boss) of Arcade mode.

Start Match with your 2nd Character

During the character introduction sequence before a match begins hold the partner button and you will start the match with your 2nd character.

Unlock TvC Ultimate All-Shooters Mini-Game

When you have beaten the final boss, press a button during the credits and the music will change and a playable credit sequence with Doronjo and her minions on a bike will begin. As this sequence plays through collect ALL of the yellow letters (this will spell out 'THANK YOU FOR PLAYING'). When the bike sequence has completed the TvC Ultimate All-Shooters mini-game will become available.

Unlock Secret Characters

The following hidden characters become unlocked by playing Arcade mode repeatedly or collecting the indicated amount of points to spend in the Shop.

(North American Version)

Unlock Frank West:
Get 3 different Capcom characters' Arcade endings.

Unlock Joe the Condor:
Get 6 different Tatsunoko characters' Arcade endings.

Unlock Tekkaman Blade:
Get 3 different Tatsunoko characters' Arcade endings.

Unlock Yatterman-2:
Get Frank West, Zero, Tekkaman Blade, and Joe the Condor's Arcade endings.

Unlock Zero:
Get 6 different Capcom characters' Arcade endings.


(Japanese Version)

Unlock Hakushon Daimaou:
Clear Arcade mode once, then purchase him for 1,000 points

Unlock Ippatsuman:
Clear Arcade mode thrice, then purchase him for 2,000 points

Unlock Saki Omokane:
Clear Arcade mode once, then purchase her for 1,000 points

Unlock Viewtiful Joe:
Clear Arcade mode thrice, then purchase him for 2,000 points
