The following hidden characters become available by playing Arcade mode repeatedly and collecting enough points to spend in the Shop.

Unlock Hakushon Daimaou:

Clear Arcade mode once and then purchase him for 1,000 points.

Unlock Saki Omokane:

Clear Arcade mode once and then purchase her for 1,000 points.

Unlock Ippatsuman:

Clear Arcade mode three times and then purchase him for 2,000 points.

Unlock Viewtiful Joe:

Clear Arcade mode three times and then purchase him for 2,000 points.
