Well if a ball goes in the gutter it disappears so I am not so sure what you are talking about. I hoped this helped.

You can't knock the other miis ball into the gutter. If it's possible than all he will do is get a sad face nothing more.

Generally the Mii wont react until the game is over but you can also make it react by throwing the ball backwards by letting go when the wiimote is behind you. The opponent will probably have a shocked reaction.

Yeah, my Dad keeps on doing that for some reason, but yeah, what Zelda_Fan said, they just jump and spin at the same time. Well, what I got is 8 Strikes in a row and my score was 253, so I'm pretty good, and Twilight_Sasuke, I think that is possible, but I never tried it, so keep on bolwing.

Yeah well I just tried it and well it doesnt just disappears in thin air it can go in the lane but it's inpossible to knock their pins down!!!
