How do I access the pick axe that I was given? I am trying to get the dinosaur puzzle pieces out of the rocks in Woody's Round-Up, and can't figure out how to use the pick axe. I've pushed every button.

You have to go near the gold and press the A button(for wii)and then done
I got the pick axe in the beginning of the game now I'm trying to do a side mission with the pick axe and now it's gone how do I get it again
