Question for The Sims 3
How do you get recipes? For one of my oppurtunities it says I have to make cookies...

To learn recipes you can purchase books from the grocery store, they can be pretty expensive if your only working with one or two incomes on a low level. You can learn recipes by watching tv too, as your skill increases so will the amount of recipes you can make. I learnt the cookie recipe by watching tv it's very easy and simple

You must go to the book store I think you need a certain amout of points hope this helps.

Actully you can't learn the cookies recipe from the tv. You have to purchase books for the book store to learn the cookies recipe. When you want tv it does improve your cooking level but won't let you learn cookies or really any other dish but regualar spagetti,goppy carabona and some other simple things.

Go to the book nook which is right next to the grocery store there you will find a bunch of books that do cost money then name of the recipe is level three cookies then you have to read it and when you learn how to cook the cookies your sim should shut the book without being controlled then go to the refrigerator and press serve the cookies will cost 11 dollars for each serving to make then put the cookies in your inventory and then go to the school which should be in front of that huge beach house after the quest you will also be able to make cookies in the future

Go to the book store and buy a recipe that you want... And this is your level or lower. Go home, take the book out your inventory and read the whole thing. Last go the the fridge and cook.

Heeeeeeeeey, everyone. I'm Simslover, and I give fun tips and tricks. So, about the cookies, head to the restruant nxlext to the bookstore and grab some drinks. No reason except your sim will feel more in the mood to learn, head to the bookstore and buy the level three "cookies." Head home, cook two batches, serve one to your family before heading out for your opportunity. (PS, a good way to improve your bosses opinion of you is to cook them a yummy meal and deliver it to them personally.)
