I'm in the first temple..just killed the giant spider and I don't know where to go from here? Help please!!

You have to light all the torches with you lanturn and go up the stairs.

I wish you could be more specific but a good idea would be to follow that monkey you came into the forest temple with, find the rest of the monkeys and/or get to a place where there are 4 torches. Light them all and go up the stairs and continue playing the game.
