Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

I had finished the entire Zora's Domain part, but I'd forgotten to save accidentally. I started it over again and I'm at the part where I have to go and talk to the spirit and get the tears thing. I had to save in the middle of it and I just started playing again. Now, I can't get to it the way you're supposed to and I'm really lost...help?

Here are some tips for saving in a Zelda game:
1) DO NOT save a game when you are in the middle of doing something (temples, Tears of Light, etc) because, as you know, it really messes things up.
2)Save after doing big things so you don't get confused. If the power suddenly cuts off or if the game freezes, you don't have to do said thing again.

All I'm going to say is that my first tip really messes everyone up, so usually I tell them if there isn't an easy solution, you might have to start all over again. I hope that is not the case with you, but it might be...
