Question for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess

How do you catch the Legendary Hylean Loach at the fishing pond? I have the frog and sinking lure but I would prefer the way that does not use the sinking lure (if there is one).

There probably is an easier way to catch it without a sinking lure, but it's really hard to do it. Sinking lure is your best option. Just switch it out once you've made the catch and she won't know. If you're looking for the fish, go to the pond in the summer and he's hiding in a spot with lily pads all over the place (kind of like a caved-in area). Just keep entering and exiting the area until you know it's summer (after the big tree has pink flowers). Good luck!

Isn't the frog lure the best one?

It's incredibly hard to set the hook, but if you can do it, be my guest. Btw, the first sentence contradicts itself in the original answer....oops XD
