Open Gates in the Forest Temple
Forest Temple - I cannot open the gates in room # 4 - with the four wind mills ( I know that the Z pattern must be followed ) and have done that about a thousand times.......( do all of them have to be in motion at the same time ) even though they must be hit in sequence???...Is there something else that must be done before the gate will open ( I have all of the monkeys ) help.......
Comment:(Jan 6 2008) OK I finally got it - I was doing just as carnage rahl suggested but it takes a little more than just following the z - you must z target each windmill individually in the correct z pattern ( standing on the bridge side facing the gate ) then when each has been targeted and lit up with the red bullseye - then throw the boomerang into the centre ( all four windmills will turn at once ) hallalooya!!!!!!

Follow the z on the floor with the boomerang when you get it.

Remember, the fairy told you that you can target up to five things simultaneously with the bow. Following the pattern on the floor, target each windmill by aiming at it and pressing z BEFORE releasing b. That's it.
