Question for The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword

I'm having trouble flying my Loftwing to areas I need to go. It just stays in an area & I don't have control to follow the map to these areas. How do I get it to fly where I want it to fly?

Shake the Wii remote up and down like you're flapping your wings (you are literally becoming the bird). Then roll/tilt/rotate the remote where you want to go...

No problem

You may be sitting at an angle that makes it fly up instead of straight. Flapping the remote can make it fly up, and hitting A will do a Dash. Or you could tell Nintendo to make an update that lets you name the bird, so you give it a good name to listen to.
