To join a clan, go onto youtube and look for Super Smash Bros clan. I was thinking of starting one of those myself so perhaps I'll let you know if want to join.

Well to join a clan search up Super Smash Bros brawl Clans and ask for a tester on one of the clans websites. If you pass the test they'll let you into their clan most likely.
