In two player events, event#17 when there is sonic heroes music, can you unlock the song in sound test? If so, how?

Yes, you can unlock it, but I don't know how. IF I REMEMBER, you unlock it by playing 15 times on Green Hill Zone stage.

Also you can unlock other songs by doing different things like playing 50 hours of brawl etc. Also you can choose which songs can be played when you play a stage. I hoped that helped.

Not really sure how I COULD have gotten it, but I unlocked that song from a CD, like I did for most of them.

You can unlock it by having Mew show up on your pokeball but than again silm chance of that
