how do you wind up a baseball bat??

To get a good score on the Home Run Contest, you damage the Sandbag with attacks, like Up smashes, B moves, Bat tossing etc.

When the Timer gets low, use the bat and do a forward smash on the Sandbag to send it flying.

A+Nunchuck control stick

A + Left, that's how the bat winds up.

Grab the bat and do a forward A smash attack.

If you want it to go far, I suggest doing damage with Ganondorf and then using a smash attack (Press left and the a button at the same time). You may need a Nunchuck for this.

Quickly press a+left at the same time and hold

Use it like a basic smash attack.tilt the analog stick left and then press A

A good way of racking damage is throwing the baseball bat at the sandbag,it does 22% damage each time so it's a good option for certain characters that don't have powerful attack moves

Really easy I think. Right, go to options, controls and set the name up or whatever. Then, in controls it should say wii remote smash or somethin in the top left or top right corner. All it means is that when you move the wii remote (this is with a nunchuck attached) say, left in a fast motion, the character you have does a left smash, such as lucas with a stick. With home run contasts, just weaken the sandbag as much as you want, and when the timer goes, just before the guy finishes saying 1, just flick the wii remote left or right (depending on where the sandbag is, on your left or right). This will make the character hit the sandbag quite far. My average score over all characters is 450, and my highest (with kirby) is 558. Ive got over 12000 metres overall, so believe me it works! This is quite easy to whack it over 300m. Here is how first of all choose a character who you are good with, then once you start the mini game. Do your thing to do some high damage, then as the time is 2 seconds left hold A + Left then you will send the bag soaring into the distance. I hoped this helped.

Side smash but be careful using it because it`s easy to dodge and someone might kill you in the windup

Just beat the sh** out of the sandbag and than grab the bat and hit foward A

Tilt the control stick towards the sandbag and hold a (for the gamecube controller)

Move and hold normal attack button. If it doesnt start charging up try agian.

Press 2 and side at the same time and send it Flying
