I heard tom nook from animal crossing is an unlockable character. Is it true? Is there other secret characters out there in the game besides Sonic and Snake?

No, he is not. For the entire list of secret characters, click on the "Cheats" link on this site. Every one is listed there. Plus, Animal Crossing is made by Nintendo, so it doesn't fall into the same category as Sonic and Snake.

First of all, what would his attacks be? Obviously he isn't a character, considering he sometimes appears on the Smashville stage. And yes, of course there are more secret characters besides Sonic and Snake.

Well I am afraid that this cheat is fake. Well you can unlock Lucario, Ganondorf, jigglypuff and there are many more. I hoped this helped. Also Toon link (Link from phantom hourglass)
