I am playing paper mario at the moment, I am on chapter 2-2 merilees house I got the key but for some reason it has gone into important things instesd of items...how do I get it....please help

Well, you cannot get anything out of your Important Things (Including your House Key). To get it out of your Important Things, you must use it. Hope it helped!
