After I defeated bowser as mario at the end, the purple comets were unlocked, and also it said new galaxy unlocked but I can't find it, so where do you get to it?

I don't know what's going on. I never unlocked a new galaxy after beating him. I unlocked a new galaxy in SMG2, but not this game. Maybe it means that you can replay the final level again.
