Thank you to DeadWing for responding. Another question (to you or someone else)is that when entering the codes to unlock the features you have to press the 2 tow times, Plus, 2 two times, etc. There are no numbers or letters to enter as with other Wii games cheats, it is just the nunchuck or the remote. It seems impossible that these could be correct but if anyone tries it and it works please let me know. My anxious son thanks you!

Well, if you know how to enter them now, you could probably try it out yourself.
But I see know reason why it would be 'impossible' to be correct just because they don't use the 'A' or 'B' buttons. It is a different game than others, so of course it could be programmed completely different.
But, I will try them out myself and get back to you if I can get them to work.
Also, while typing this answer, I decided to look at the cheats they have for this game on this site, and it seems they do use the letter buttons 'Z' and 'C'. If you aren't getting your cheats from here, try it. I will only be testing the cheats found on this site, mainly because I do not know where you got your cheats from, and if you told me here, it would count as advertising.
Anyways, I'll test the cheats and get back to you.
