Question for Sonic and The Secret Rings

Ok,i just got this game and I'm new to it,so I have 1 question,what do those little circle things in sand oasis(they look like little light balls and they're always on the path of where you are supposed to go)its not that imprtant to me but thanks if anyone answers

They are a trail that ususally lead to something like rings or an item or somthing. They're also used to show you which way the end of the level is.

No they don't Da Mario Man. Later on in the game,you get a soul gauge and those light balls fill up the gauge. But for now there usless. Also once the soul gauge is full, you can use "Time Break" and "Speed Break".

They are pearls. When you finish evil foundry #4 pearls fill up your soul gauge. You can use sppeed break {up arrow) and time break {down arrow}

They are pearls that you use for the moves "speed break" and "time break". However, they are useless in the sand oasis level if you haven't completed the evil foundry level, that's when your soul gage is activated, and you fill it with the pearls and you use the pearls to perform speed & time break. Hope this help and enjoy SatSR!

They are used for filling up a bar to use 2 abilities you will unlock progressing in the game: Time break, which slows time down until your bar ends, and Speed break.... I'll let you find it out for yourself
