Just bought the will you bundle for skylanders and picked up different packs and figures some say swap force, other spyro, and other giant...do I need different games for each group. Its a Christmas gift for my son want to make sure I get the right guys for the game.

It depends which bundle that you got. If it was Spyro's adventure starter pack then ONLY spyros adventure characters will work on it, If you got Giants starter pack then giants and spyros adventure characters will work on it but if you got the swap force starter pack then all of the spyros adventure,giants and swap force will work on it. Hope that helped and I want to just tell you that spyros adventure has most levels swap force has the 2nd most levels and giants has the least.I would recommend getting swap force
