Hi!
<BR>I bought a new Skylander Giant for my son. It does not work when putting it on the portal. A message saying approx "this toy does not work, take it off" comes up. I have tried to reset the skylander as other forums say, but it does not work. Now I was thinking that the giant might not work at all in this game (Spyro's Adventure)...
<BR>So my question is: is it possible to mix "small" skylanders with the giants in this game?

The anser is no because the skylander is made to fit the need of one of the games

There are two generations of skylander. If the box was blue it is generation 1. The orange box is generation 2 and is called gaints. They are not compatible. You have to match the color of the sklyander to the color of the system. So if you have a generation 1 blue system. Bite the bullket and replae it with slylander giants. By the way, this christtmas will brinng out the next generation but the good news is all the gneration 2 skylanders will work. As a grandparent that is good as the basic platforn is 50-60 dollors and each skylander is arround 10-20 dollars and the grandkids want a new one every week and granma can't say no
