ANSWERS

You have lots of options. (1) You can start a NEW GAME, which will put all the treasures, soul gems, hats, etc. Back to "nothing" collected. Your skylanders will still retain all the level ups and purchases from the first game, but NOW they are stronger. Replay using stronger skylanders. Try not to get killed at ALL. Try to make it through the levels in UNDER the allotted time. If you can get ALL the check boxes on objectives on ALL the levels, then you have accomplished something.
(2) Try the Heroic Challenges. Get through ALL of them with ONE skylander and you will get a special accolade. If you can GET ALL the accolades. Start a new game and use a different skylander.

There is a new "Giant" version of the game that is SUPPOSEDLY going to be released in the fall of 2012. You can wait for that as well.

My best suggestion is to replay the levels "skipping" the gates using a single skylander and see if you can make it all the way through to the end without getting killed. If you can then you have definitely accomplished something. Using different Skylanders changes the game considerably.
