Question for Skylanders Spyro's Adventure

Hi my son is at the chapter21 I believe and he has gone across the water several times to the weapon master but he is not opening. It mentions if we go back across water to get the Magical Source. Can you help? Tks in advance for your response.

He won't wake up.You will have to restart the whole game and replay it from the beggining.
