We have a Skylander wii that was bought in Finland and my kids would like to get somemore action figures when we are in the states. Will the American Skylander action figures work on the Finnish Wii Skylander?

I'm not so sure about that, I got my son a 3DS in England and we live in Australia. On the box, it said that all the games had to be from England. You could try buying more Skylanders in the States, but I can guarantee that it will work for sure. Best of luck!
Yes, you can use every action figure on your portal. It doesn't matter where you buy them.
