Question for Scooby-Doo! First Frights

Ep 3 level 1
How do you get out of this area? You come in and there is a locked iron gate and a wooden door. Daph climbs up the pipe that is there and drops down on a balcony,above the wooden door, where there is a pad of some sort with a red glowing light that hovers above it. I have tried everything I can think of but I can not get the pad to work. I figure it opens the iron gate below it. I went to the hint section and all it says is there is a lever near by. I have looked everywhere but have found nothing. Please help.

If you're playing alone, the lever is hidden by the door. Smash on the panel and the lever appears. Fred will pull it and it'll open the door.

Sorry, but Fred can't break the door, at least I can't get him to do it. What you have to do if you are playing 1 player is to change characters to Daphne, by pressing and holding down the "C" button on the nunchuk, have her climb the pipe, thump jump the pressure pad. The door will open to a level. Have her either jump down or go back down the pipe and either stay Daphne or go back to Fred (same way) and have one of them pull the level using the "Z" button.
