How do you throw the barrel on the fireworks?

The only thing I can think of is that you aren't throwing the gunpowder barrel at the right spot - although that doesn't seem likely. I assume you are throwing it at the fireworks barrel and towards the window where Fred is standing. I know that a couple of times, if the gunpowder barrel got thrown before you are close enough, or at the wrong spot the fireworks wouldn't explode, If you have tried rebooting the game, and that doesn't help, it might be a glitch in the the game itself and you might want to try returning it. Which I had more ideas, good luck.
