I don't understand what you mean by "frog gate" can you describe more, where you are exactly and what the gate you are trying to open looks like. Thanks

I now understand, your question is perfectly clear once you have played that far into the game. Sorry. Here is how you get through - use your magnifying glass, point it at the frog and it will open up and wisk Shaggy and Scooby down to a valley with a huge circle with a puzzle they have to figure out in order to open a way into the ice caves.
