How do you get to Costington ' s house - I can't get threw gate

Assuming that you have rescued the guy's from the jail, change character to Velma, to do this press the arrow below the character face you are using, in this screen, which has the costumes, press the arrow next to the face at the top of the screen, this should scroll through the active characters, once your chosen character appears, press the tick at the bottom right of the screen. Now go to the entry pad next to the costington gate (at the top of the stairs at the far left of the street) Press A and memorize the colour bar sequence, and key it in.

Actually the intercom on Costington's gate doesn't require Velma to operate, any character can approach it and then press "Z" button and he will begin talking to you and then open the gate. This isn't the "computer" switch that is necessary for Velma to work.

To get to costington you first need to beat the scaryatce
