Does anyone know how to get passed the freight train. I kill the two guards but when I am instructed to pull the lever to disengage the train I can not get passed this part.

I found that a running jump from as close as possible to the bar worked for me. I am stuck a little further on and am having trouble entering into coms with others playing this game. Any ideas?
