It said in the book to push the C buttin twice and hold, but when I do this nothing happens.

You need to hit the C button twice, but not slowly or else it doesn't work. Double click the C button two times, fast, and hold it. It does dash. Lol
another promblem you might have is cuz you don't have engouh sp do you do your speacials alot cuz that lowers your sp
