I'll clarify even better on the Golden Fruit: Remember those tree's you see in which are iced over? You can find a good number of them, but some will have a golden apple. What you need to look for is the Frozen Trees in the areas where you first went once you opened Silver Mountains. There are two next to the cliffside going up. The next is going up the other way, towards Shanks area. On the way, you'll pass a bunch of Marines and a Frozen Tree. That spot has a high possibility of Golden Fruit. Going up towards Shanks, again, where you find the White Vegetable in the ground, there is yet another Frozen Tree towards the outer wall. Its chance is rare for a fruit to be on it, then past Shanks area is that forest with all those Pirates hidden. In the midst of that area is yet another Tree. Also has a good chance of a Golden Fruit. One last one I can think of is when you enter Silver Mountains from the Cave of Darkness. There is a tree there, but it's chances are incredibly rare. (NOTE: there are TWO Golden Eggs in this area as well. Behind a Statue above the hole falling into the exit to the Cave Area; The last is on a stone rock right before you get to Ace's area. Probably won't recognize it, but when on the way to Shanks, the little slope going down where the Soldiers are, take that path and be sure to wait for the wind to stop blowing. Once it does, follow that path down, but do NOT fall off that platform, there should be a Treasure Chest + one more drop down to the Golden Egg.)

The Golden Fruit are on a few trees in The Silver Mountains. The Upgraded pick axe is Diamond fragments. You can get those from the Mass Soldiers.(the ones that are basicly rocks)
