Sneaky Ninja Kong Tip?

Sneaky Ninja Kong Tip?

This might be an odd question, but there was one time during my fight with Ninja Kong on Kong of the Mountain, where, after he got mad and I dodged his first kick, then he dodged mine, without warning (on accident) I all of a sudden shook either my Wii Remote or Nunchuck, don't know which, and DK did one punch which lifted Ninja Kong off his feet, then I shook one of them again, and DK LITERALLY went all Ryu and did a Shoryuken which sent Ninja Kong flying up in the air, spinning. Not flipping, spinning. And it got him dizzy. All this before he could unleash his second kick. Again, I did that on accident.

My question is, how do I do it every single time, on purpose. What did I do right?

I hope there's someone who's delved into the deeper mechanics of the game who can answer this.

I finally figured it out!

The way you normally counter Ninja Kong is, after he punches you (dodge it, of course) and you throw out a punch (which he dodges), he'll try to kick you. He will ALWAYS kick with the OPPOSITE foot of the hand he used to punch you. So, just before the kick comes out, if he punched from your left side (with his right arm), shake the Nunchuck. If he punched from your right side (with his left arm), shake the Wii Remote. Do it right as he lifts his foot. Then, after the first uppercut, shake the Wii Remote. If done right, you'll land a double uppercut, in which each hit does 10 damage, sends him flying, and makes him dizzy. This works regardless of whether he's mad or not.

However, (and this is what I did on accident) after he gets mad, try this: wait until after he tries to kick you the first time (dodge it), and after you kick him (which he dodges)--pause for a moment, and heed this: he will ALWAYS, when he throws out his sweep, attack from the same side as his first kick--then just before he sweeps you, if he kicked from the left side (with his right foot), you shake the Wii Remote, or, if he kicked from the right side (with his left foot), you shake the Nunchuck. If done correctly, and with good timing, your uppercut will lift Ninja Kong off his feet for 10 damage. Shake the Wii Remote to have Donkey Kong mimic Ryu and deliver a bloody (yes, literally spraying animated blood!) Shoryuken which sends Ninja Kong spinning into the air. That second hit does a whopping 50 damage! And makes him dizzy!

The timing is tight, however. Try to counter too early, and you'll just repeat that same kick you threw after his first kick, which will keep whiffing, and eventually your fists will collide, and you'll have to do the sequence all over again. Do it too late, and he will hit you with the sweep, then immediately start throwing punches nonstop until you dodge one.

This counter is not easy to pull off, but it is SOOOO worth practicing, because the counter is extra flashy and does triple the damage. It enabled me to take down Ninja Kong in only THREE pummeling sessions!

I know I have succeeded in answering my own question, but I hope that I also succeeded in providing enough details so you guys can pull this cool move off as well.
