Yes!!! You can play 2 players! When you pick your Drivers it's says it on TOP|RIGHT To coonect second player as a CO-Op

I'm playing a wii game on wiiU console. When I pick out a driver it's not giving me an option in upper right corner (or anywhere) to choose a 2nd driver co op
I figured it out!!! After you complete the 1st championship tutorial it will unlock multiplayer
Hit the Home button (in middle of man remote) to activate second controller Before you play the teaching part. This will then allow 2 players.
