Question for Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident

How do you do the chemistry set in the farm house? I know I must get 1 liter in the ball but you can't turn two gear knobs while fluid is draining....

It tells you on the table. You need to transfere to the flasks and get rid of some using the valves.

Using the valves fill up the 5 liter vessel, then drain off three liters into the three liter vessel. Empty the remaining two liters from the 5 liter and drain 3 liters into the 5 liter. Drain off the five liter vessel and one liter will remain which will fill the rust remover machine.

Fill 3L. Transfer the liquid from 3L to 5L. Fill 3L again and transfer it to 5L. Drain the 5L. Transfer the left over liquid from 3L to 5L.
