Question for Mystery Case Files: The Malgrave Incident

I am trapped in a cell with no idea how to get out inventory is broom, head, plank, dictionary, tile any help would be appreciated

Take the broom and point it at the key on the floor.
Then use the chair in that room on top of the crate that was to short to use.
