If you are talking about the big generator, then what you have to do is destroy the generator with the missles from your ship by going into the command visor locking on the missle icon, and holding down "Z" as if to scan. On the other side of Bryo it will not be that simple. You will have to destroy the two SAM looking guns so they won't shoot down your ship, and then destroy the Second generator also with your ship missles. If you have not yet obtained the ship missles; which you already should have, you must go to the federation landing site on Bryo and land you ship there, after completing a frustrating puzzle (I hated it), and upgrade you ship.
