Are there any unlockable characters? If so, who are they and what type are they? (Speed, power, etc.)

Yes. DK and Silver are unlockable by getting a world record in every event. DK should be power, but Silver, I have no idea.

There are NO unlockable characters in this game, I repeat, NO secret characters.

Silver The Hedgehog-Speed

Yes those are the only unlockable characters in the game.Silver is in Team Sonic and DK is in Team Mario
